So i rooted my aria, then i downloaded Liberated aria, and followed the instructions to install it. i did everything, then after it was over i went to reboot, and it stayed on the white HTC screen. kept on staying there too, ive tried clearing all memory and taking the battery out for a while. Still nothing. Does anyone know what i should do?
thanks,

Hi guys
I have re-downloaded the ROM, and also tried flashing with a completely different one, one Sense based the other generic android 2.1 based... That one freezes on the 4 colour pyrotechnics nexus splash screen.
Any ideas how to get around this?
Thanks
Mark
UPDATE:
It seems that I CAN restore to a nanbackup and get back to Sense, but without my settings intact. As soon as I try to flash to ANY rom again, it will still freeze at quietly brilliant or the nexus 4 colour splash.
Ive tired an SD repair, wiped everything I could wipe using the bootloader menu... so why all of a sudden this, I have often flashed with no problem in the past.
Tx
Mark.
yeah dat happens to mine now iv had to revert back to the stock android 1.5, im still rotted tho... its disappointing
Same here, tried the Villain Mod, freezes on this screen.
Attempting to restore now...
Hello Xda!
I recently used this forum to install Android on my HTC HD2 UK Vodafone.
It all went pretty smoothly after i realised you needed to update the radio to get it working properly. It's worked pretty fine for nearly a week till this morning, i was updating apps then all of a sudden my phone restarted, so i tried to boot back into android and its basically been doing the same all day. It will either boot up into the loading screen and keeps repeating that with a green screen for a quick second between each loading screen and then ends up with a white screen.
I have tried pretty much everything i can think of, only thing i havn't tried is changing the android build as i did like the one i was using. I have formatted the SD card, re-downloaded the android build, changed zImages etc etc but still no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So here is what happened. I just started with this rooting stuff a few days ago. I read up on it and took the dive. I got Bionix Fusion installed and everything was going well. I made a nandroid backup of stock and of Fusion. So today, I was messing around a little bit too much I guess and I started getting the error for deleting the gtalk etc.. apps like the others did in that other post. I also couldn't download anything from the market. Well, I decided to flash back to stock and when I tried to do it didn't work. While restoring it gets stuck on this step: .psync_stream .. I tried to get back into fusion since I had it backed up as well - but I couldn't get into it. So I have been spending all day reading the forums and trying everything that I can to get it to boot up again, but its just not working. I have installed ODIN and I have gone through the process. It told me that it passed and the download bar was complete. The Phone rebooted, went to vibrant, made the annoying T-Mobile sound but then didn't get passed the Galaxy S screen. It just goes to a black screen with the lights on the touch keys lit up. I really have tried just finding the answer on the forums, but I am not getting very far - If anyone could please help me or give me any insights, I would really appreciate it. I know I probably have gotten in too deep, but honestly once I started flashing roms and stuff it got kind of addicting. I am pretty new at all of this stuff, but I really need to get my phone back working again. Thanks in advance to whoever can help me.
Found something that worked Flashed Eugenes unbrickable with ODIN, then flashed back to stock and I am up and running. I guess I should have looked further before posting.
PS... After using ODIN, when it is getting ready to reboot it says in red letters: Data Wipe Failed. Not sure if that helps.
I'm having a problem with my Droid X using the 2.2 Froyo update. My phone was rooted using 2.1 when I updated to 2.2 and I started getting this problem. If my phone turns off then when it tries to turn back on it will get "stuck" at the Motorola logo screen. I say "stuck" because I discovered I can still use my phone, I can unlock it, open things, turn it off, it works except it only shows the boot up screen. I can get around this by leaving my battery out for several minutes, then it will boot up fine. I've already tried several things to fix my phone but nothing has worked. What I've tried so far:
Unrooting my phone
Rerooting my phone
flashing a "stock" 2.2 SBF
reset to factory defaults
I'm out of ideas except for trying to get my phone replaced by Verizon. So my question is what's left for me to try? Otherwise, will I be able to return my phone to verizon despite it being rooted at one point? Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out here.
EDIT: I noticed my phone didn't have this problem if my SD card was removed, so I tried reformatting it but that hasn't solved anything either...
Have you tried the 2.2.1 leak? This gives you a new kernel and bootloader.

If the phone is not rooted when you take it into the Verizon store then you will be fine. I would ensure that any traces of root have been removed from the SD card (apps that require root, etc). As long as the phone is stock when they see it then it will be fine. I have had to do this several times with roms and root access.
Can't you just SBF it? I'm fairly new to the X but I've had to SBF rescue my D1 and D2 multiple times.
OOOPS didn't read the SBF part...
If it is still hosed after an SBF install I would guess that you have a hardware issue and need to replace the phone.

It's a known issue with 2.3.15. gmanapps, the guy that created the hdmi app in the market said it was the video driver not loading up in time because of some code changes Motorola made; but supposedly it's fixed in 2.2.1. I suggest you don't upgrade to 2.2.1 until there is a full sbf.
I get stuck on the "M" logo 7 times out of 10 after every reboot; I just hold the power button down until the pop-up window comes up (of course I can't see it) and guess where the shutdown press is on the screen to power off the phone, and then power on again after a minute or two. This trick usually works.

Hey guys. I rooted my M a couple days ago (5th or 6th device ive rooted) and am having some trouble this morning.
Everything seemed to be fine, I got rid of some crapware, grabbed droidwall, font installer, etc. The only major(?) change i made was putting safestrap on the phone. Afterwords, I rebooted and seen that there was no "splash screen" show up like the directions said there would be, so i figured it didnt work. This was a couple days ago. I didnt have any problems with the phone starting up at all until I changed the font a couple times. The first time, I changed it, rebooted normally, and everything changed over and appeared normal. After a few minutes of looking through the options again, I found one I liked better and installed that one. Reboot - stuck on the boot screen. Bummer. Tried to get it to start back up and it always does the same thing.
So I did some reading and am currently charging up my phone and downloading the razr_M_utility to restore and start over. Not sure what I did or why this happened. I dont recall making any other changes that could have caused it. I did use uninstall master to uninstall some of the bloatware, and thought that maybe I got rid of something that i wasnt supposed to. However, I have rebooted a few times since then and its been fine until now. Plus I'm pretty sure that I didnt uninstall anything to cause a problem.
Any additional thoughts on this would be appreciated. Like everyone else, im learning as i go! thanks

Utility is gonna take care of it for you...I'm certain. I cant think of anything that caused it though. That's kinda weird. But if I were you I would just stick with the stock ROM with that issue and just troubleshoot it and if it happens again...hit it with the utility again
Also if you don't mind losing camcorder the 4.2.2 ROMs are great and don't require safe strap as Kong as you unlock boot loader through the utility. But will void your warranty.
Good luck! And follow those instructions on Matt's utility perfectly!
