I am unable to save a new contact to my SIM card, it says that the card is full, I have 100 contacts on the card currently; no where near the capacity of the card. Any suggestions?

hi to all
just wondering if anyone has any experience using a multi-simcard in a wizard (or any variant) and how it has gone.
just to make things clear, when i say multi-simcard, i mean one of the simcards you can purchase which allow you to copy over multiple sim identities from single sims to one card. im not talking about the dual-sims where you cut out the sims.
this means that you dont have to replace sims if you want to use different numbers/networks.
i know that the software you install which adds a specific menu to enable the swapping that comes with the card will work for say nokias, but im not sure if theres a mw5 equivalent.
linked to this, is it possible to have multiple mobile network operator profiles/settings on the wizard?
sorry - new to the whole ppc game!!
any help/advice would be greatly appreciated...

All backUp function support A3A8 COMP128V1 SIM Card only which are the 98% of sim cards worldwide
This SIM Card Back-UP device doesn't support newest SIM Card that uses COMP128V2 algorithm to code KI key
Some GSM SIM Cards from 2001 (COMP128V1) are Scan-Limited. It has limited running scan times. If the scan is over the limit, the SIM Card will be locked and will not work any more. So don't scan the same SIM excessively if not necessary.
Hints to distinguish between V1 and V2 sim cards:
SIM cards issued before JUNE 2002 most likely are COMP128v1 SIM cards
Phone book capacity more than 250 entries most likely are COMP128v2 SIM cards
When two or more SIM cards with same number (original and cloned) are in used:
Both phones can dial out but NOT in the same time
Only the latest dialed out or powered on phone can receives calls, the other phone will not ring
If one phone is officially turned off (e.g. by switch off the power button), the other phone can't receives calls even though it's still power on, the other phone must make a call in order to make it can receives calls again.

If you have very old Sims or are in eastern europe where they are reported to still use the older Sims then you're okay otherwise you can't copy the Sims so everything else is irrelevant.
so when I first got this phone, put my sim card in, looks like all my contacts from the simcard got transferred to my phone, so now I see duplicates of everything... one set is on the phone, the other is on the sim card... how do I delete the ones from the sim card and copy the ones on the phone over since I have done some organization from outlook contact when synced?
THanks
I'm on my 2nd card now, different brands, different speeds, and my card gets corrupted almost once a month. I make weekly backups of the card, so I never really lose data, but it's a pain nonetheless.
The symptoms are same each time. When it happens, I can browse the SD card with no problems. However, it won't boot with the SD card in the slot. I must first remove it, boot up, then I can insert it. Activesync does not work with the card inserted, and the Messaging app won't even open, so I have to remove the card before I can sync w/ my Exchange Server.
I'm not sure why the Messaging app is so tightly integrated with the SD card and why the card would prevent the app from opening when the card is in the slot. The database exists in the internal storage; only the attachments are stored on the card.
Anyone else experience this craziness?
What brand are your memory cards and where are you buying them?
Hello all, can I ask for suggestions on a couple of problems that I am experiencing with the universal? (On latest T-mob rom)
1. the phone crashes whenever I try to hang up at the end of a call (are T-mobile just cunningly trying to make me use up my minutes?!!)
2. every 10 minutes or so I get a notification that the SD card contains images and "what do I want to do about it"! I never remove the card, have always stored images in the root directory of the SD card, and this has never happened before so I don't know why it's been doing this for the last few days.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
I am no expert - but on my xda2 my SD card can seem to lose connectivity quite often.
I wonder if your card reader, is losing connection to the card (dodgy reader?) then reconnecting - and thinks you have inserted the card.

Hey
i just delete all my contact number of my sim card without i know, it was a mistake

if you already have the numbers on your phone, you can always save them back to the sim card with the sim card Apps on Android Market like http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.happydroid.c2s
It happened to me also as I was playing with SGStools. Quit sgstools and boom no contacs.
Updated the. Cvs file I had from old phone and done.
Sent from my fingers!
