Dictionary in eBook reader. - Galaxy Tab General

nyone have an info for Dictionary in ebook reader????
Thanks a lot in advance.
Please, help me.
I need Dictionary ITA ita in ebook reader. Where i can download it?

No idea, I was trying to install some dictionaries in spanish from the market... but I cannot use those in the eBook reader..

Try Project Gutenberg, They have many different languages, websites in foreign countries and everything is free. Just DL the correct file type for your reader and make sure it is in the right folder.

Dictionary Edit and app list.

I have used the search extensivly and tried a few dictionary apps but none have been able to access my custom dictionary.
Is there an app compatable with the polaris (I have Orbit 2).
Is there a tread for handy applications for the polaris as it is a pain searching for things I dont know exist.
Thanks
The way the dictionary works on WM6 is different from WM5. The available tools are for WM5 only. At the moment you can not edit the dictionary I'm afraid.

Multiple Languages?

Hey everyone! I have the HTC Touch Dual with 20 keys, but I have a problem. See, I've been living here in Spain for about 4 years now, and I had a blackberry prior to this purchase, with a full qwerty keyboard, so I had no need to change between languages and such. So my question is if there is a way to have both dictionaries (English + Spanish) together. I saw a friend with his iphone, he had both languages installed at once. I'm wondering if there's any way to use the predictive writing tool while having it look through 2 languages at once. Is that possible? Thanks!
Kent.
just a thought, but maybe merging the two languages in the xt9 language file?
OMG! Do you know how to do this!? Is there a way to do this!? Wooo you just got me sooo excited
any results?
Hi guys, have you tried copying two different language files into one? Does it slow down the XT9 recognition (memory...)?
If you have identified the location and name of the files to merge, plz let me know.
Thx.

So far nothing. No one has been able to help. I'm still asking around.
I need exactly the same , merge french & english
I just put in 14 in 1 language XT9 pack, and it works great, but still a pain when I have to switch languages everytime I want to type in a different language. Is there a way to remove languages that you don't want?

Can you briefly explain what you did?
If I unterstand correct, you _did_ copy multiple files into one (which and where?) and it seems to be working for you.
So why do you have to switch languages now? Shouldnt you be able to simply type and the T9 file (containing multiple language data bases) recognises possible matches from either of the contained languages?
2)
Proposal: Is there a chance to write a brief macro toggling between languages and make it configurable by a simple GUI to choose the language files to switch?
-> any takers for this challenge? Thx.

Well, I just found that 14 in 1 cab, installed it, and restarted. Worked great! And STILL Works great! But now I have 14 languages I'd like to get rid of 12 of them Any ideas?
What I was saying is that what I have to do is click and hold the asterisk, bring up the menu, click XT9 Languages and then click the language I want. I wish there was a way to do it faster.

How to Read and Write Chinese on HTC HD

2 easy steps to Read and Write Simplified Chinese in a non Chinese HTC HD, that is to keep your original HD languages.
All the information came from this post
1.-If you only want to read SMS, surf web... you have to download the "droid.cab (1469KB)" from here
Copy the file to your HD and install it with your HD.
Thanks to lawrencel
2.-If you also want to write chinese in pinyin and add a new keyboard, then you have to download this file
Unzip in your PC, copy the PlumSIP_VGA.cab file to your HD and install it from the HD.
Thanks to Faguopal

Could you give me the link to write Chinese in Changjei (倉頡) and keyboard.
Many thanks.
For the official HTC simplified Chinese input, click here. This avoids problems of third-party input methods (such as remapping the keyboard).

How to read PF files on WM 6.5

Hello!
I can't read any PDF files on my Palm. How can I install Adobe Reader on my phone?
Thank you!

[Q] REQ for original ADOBE READER (the one on stock rhod100 rom)

I remember that on the first original TP2 rom, there was a version of ADOBE READER that allowed us toi load pages from PDF files 1 by 1.
The version included in latest roms (officials or cooked ones) doesn't have that option anymore, so it becomes very hard to consult documents with 20-30 pages or books with 300 pages since they need to be scrolled down and it is painfull as hell. I remember reading books without any problems with the original version of the READER that was found on my TP2 when it was stock charged.
So what i'm asking, is if there's a chef out there who still has a copy of the original WINDOWS MOBILE 6.1 rom and who can extract it for me, or if someone has the cab (i already looked over and nobody seems to be missing this function).
pleaaaase fellas :S
Remind me tomorrow (just write here something, I subscribed), I'll do a cab file for you.
helloooo dear chefff!!! Thank youuuu
Hey, please find attached.
