Hi all,
I am just using the LED Notification Enabler cab. But when receiving E-Mail, the LED do not make any signal for.
I just checked in the regestrie the key:
<<
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
"AvailableOptions"=dword: 15
>>
Do anybody has an idea how to enable this for the mini?
And do anybody know, what the other reg-keys do in this path?
ahead many thx

Ah ok I understand now.
Goto HKLM\nls\overrides\STFmt - and value should be hh:mm:ss tt
or whatever is your preference.
If you have lost the override then create new key 'overrides' and create new string value 'STFmt' with data = 'hh:mm:ss tt'
just the option is now displayed in settings/today ... but no time on screen

Did you to the registry tweak? It might help to try lvmtime and see if that works for the time or not to try and narrow down the problem. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=260441&highlight=lvmtime
After i finish call i see about 3 sec delay, and i can't repeat call or any action.
How to remove it delay ??
(please if possible registry tweak)
You can change that setting in Advanced Configuration Tool. In the "Phone" settings, end call delay default is at 3000, hence the 3-second delay. You can lower than number in the settings. Works great.
doesn't work, but i enter 0 sec

One thing to keep in mind is that when changing the setting, you can't just type in the number. If you do that the setting won't stick. Instead, you have to use the up/down arrows to set the value.
Did you reset the device? It works for me.
Works for me too ...set it to zero (by typing in 0) and soft reset ...no more delay ending calls (answers quicker too)
Am using R3AA
works really great! is there also maybe an option where you can get rid of that beep beep beep after a ended call?
Does anyone know the registry key for it?
Mine doesn't have the option in the advanced tab. Just 'Reject call with text messge' & 'Add new phone number to contacts at end of call'
its not in the advanced tab. you have to use Advanced configuration tool...

Hi,
I just installed Shaps Advanced Config Tool, but the mentioned option under Phone is not there. Is there another Advanced Config Tool I don't know about?
Thanks
Marc
Figured it out myself =) Used an old version (2.2) instead of the new 3.3.
nevermind =)

The right hand 'light' isn't the light you might think
It's a light sensor which measures the light conditions where the keyboard will be turned on when it's too dark...
so it's not a light, but a SENSOR

I am working on this as I find time. Can you look in the registry at HKCU/Control Panel/Notifications/Led and tell me what the value of the TimeOut is set at?
Value LED Time out
Can you look in the registry at HKCU/Control Panel/Notifications/Led and tell me what the value of the TimeOut is set at?
In my HTC Snap the Value data is 30, but I don't think my Led is flashing voor 30 minutes.
Is this the right value?

That is the correct value. I am still looking through the registry, but it may be something in a dll which would really be crummy.

Very cool..looking forward and wish u lots of free time
My TimeOut value is 30, too.
It seems that the secret may be in allledmgr.dll
I am totally unfamiliar with editing dll files so if someone wants to take a try at it, go ahead. It looks like this file contains the flash rates, colors, etc.
No sooner did I give up and it came to me that what we need is not there rather than change what is there.
If you want the LED to blink until you acknowledge the message/notification you need to add a DWORD entry to the following paths in the registry. The DWORD that you want to add will be named "Duration" (without the quotes) and give it a DWORD Data of "0" (zero without the quotes).
For SMS: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
For Missed Call: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D660-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
For Reminders: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{15F11F90-8A5F-454c-89FC-BA9B7AAB0CAD}
The above work on my device. I do not use the built in VM or Email, so I can not confirm the following two entries so if someone would like to try and let us know, I would greatly appreciate it.
For Email: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
For Voicemail: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D661-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
I still believe the secret to the colors reside in the dll posted above.
Hello,
many thanks for your help.
It functions very well.

LED blinking
No change over here!
Also the suggestion of Ookba to use automatic keylock doesn't make the timeout of blinking any longer.

Interesting. Are you using Ookba's Rom?
I would check to make sure that you are in the right location and that the Value is correct. I will make a file that will do it automatically when I get a chance. The locations are so similar I was putting my values in the wrong location at first.

I am using 6.5 and it works fine.
I installed the LED cab but still do not get a light signal when a new e-mail arrived !
What can be the failure ?
Do you set on in Sounds & Notifications Flash light for.. minutes?
It just does not work with hotmail email accounts! In the sticky of this thread.. there are some tweaks to enable led notifications, but it does not apply for "new email"
24. Enable LED Notification Setting in Sound and Notifications
If you want your LED to flash when you have a new message, missed call or voicemail.. well you can't as it is greyed out. However the following registry entries can be modified to enable them or use the cab at end of post. Reset after changes.
New Message:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
"AvailableOptions"=dword: change to 15
Missed Call:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D660-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
"AvailableOptions"=dword: change to 15
Voice Mail:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D661-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]
"AvailableOptions"=dword: change to 15
I too don't get the light flashing when a new email arrives
Even after running the reg fix cab and changing the settings in the Sounds/Notifications tab.
I tick the box to say 'flash light' and set it to 'no limit'. Maybe I should try setting it to 1 hour or something.
Yeah I've got the same settings, flash light and no limit, but nothing happening for email
Has anyone else noticed that the LEO keyboard doesn't have the {} brackets on it. Or have I just not found them?
I accidentally changed the name of the {A877 D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408} entry and came to re-add it only to discover I couldn't. Luckily it was added back in for me
I've tried the various tweaks suggested here. I still can't get this to work. I logged this with HTC Support.After first suggesting sending the device into the Service Centre, they are now advising that this is a known issue and will be addressed in a forthcoming ROM update. Not quite sure whether I am totally convinced - if you have time, if might be worth you also logging this issue with them?
I know it's not a major problem - but it should work

Tap on numbers key, click 1/2 on the left side of the keyboard to get to 2/2 and voila, the {} are there.....
Bugger, right in front of my eyes. I could swear I was looking right at that screen aswell.
Oh well, back to get my eyes tested I guess
I would be really interested to hear is anyone else has got these notification LED's to work though. Anything I do has no effect it seems.
I can change the notification sound but can't make the LED flash at all
Works fine for messages and calls, not tried it with Email....
Yeah, messages and calls works ok for mine too. it's just the email one that doesn't and it's really starting to grind my gears. I like to be able to see if its even worth turning the phone on before I pick it up with a handy little flashing LED for emails too.
I have mine all enabled, but not seen them yet, do they all flash in the same way as low battery??? could get confusing...
Low battery = red,
message = green
Could you tell us more ?

I'm having a really bad time with my battery life. Out of the box
it sucks. Did NOT apply any powertweaks yet, just using my device
the same as I did with my touch HD. 8 hours and it's about dead.
In a couple of days, when I'm owning it for 14 days, will aply 1 tweak at a time and see if there's results..
Perhaps it would be possible with nueLed. I used nueLed with the xda orbit. the cab is here in the forum.

I logged it via HTC.com, got a response from 'Richard' from the UK/Ireland Support Desk, advising that this should be addressed in a forthcoming hotfix. Just that, the response had all the hallmarks of a bulk standard response. Still I've no real reason to doubt him.

Hey Guys and Gals,
I have a small question and I hope somebody knows the answer.....
I'm having a Snap ans I was wondering if if could be possible by settings to leave the screen dimmed while getting a text....
usually it brightens up and turns on as soon as you get a message, but I dont want that
Is there somebody who knows, how to disable the screen from being turned on while receiving a message??
Thanks anyway for any reply/feedback
Regards Jeroen
i think that might just be part of the background sms process. i don't believe there is any hidden registry value to change it.
