Google Maps current position accuracy problem - EVO 4G General

I bought a Evo recently, overall I'm very happy with it except the battery.
I have some trip recently so I began to use the gps and google maps,i found the latitude and longitude reported by the gps chip has a fixed accuracy error of about 300 meters to the correct value.
I have a Huawei C8500, whose gps can be called perfectly correct, it can show my position correctly within 5 meters, always,it helped me to go out of some mountainous area without road correctly.
I compare the data reported by the application gps status,i see the data on the two phones always have a little difference.
My evo is hardware version 0004, the latest 3.70.651.1 stock sprint rom.
I've known that it use rtr6500 chip from qualcomm,i will try to find the datasheet to check, but as I have seen online that somebody have good accuracy on evo, so I guess it's not chip problem.
Any good suggestion?

I use google earth today, it always show the current position within 5 meters, and the time delay is maybe within 100 ms,i checked it on a road on a mountain area with a turn every 20 meters in average today, google earth can even show each turn correctly in a unnoticeable delay, and it has full 3D support,it can even show the road just shown as what I see when I'm in the car driving, and even some look around function to check the environment in 3D, it's way better than google maps.
The shortcomings is that earth has no much info about the name of the place than google maps.

My GPS says it's correct up to 5-10 meters. So far it's always pinpointed me exactly.
As far as battery life, mines pretty decent. I'm running Myns with Kings #9 kernel

I checked the difference of the gps data of the 2 phones carefully today, in fact both the latitude and longitude difference are within 0.00005° most of the time, and the largest difference are just 0.00015°, with a calculator and a little knowledge of the earth geometry, the difference are just within 5 meters most of the time, and 15 meters at most, so the gps data of my evo is correct, the problem is google maps show the current position some hundreds meters afar always.
what may be the problem of google maps on my evo?i used nexus one for 10 months, google maps works correctly on it too.
I have no much incentive to use some hacked rom by now, as I have no interest to the system programming on android now to customize my own rom, and I don't like to waste a lot time to try the rom of others endlessly, no much fun after doing this kind of things with other phones in the past, what I want is just a phone that just do whatever I want to do.
I bought a 9600mAh/3.7V external battery,i can charge my evo fully 3 times by it now ( maybe it can charge more times after more usage) without charging the external battery, it's acceptable for now.

Try running and downloading the GPS ephemeris data with the GPS Status app in the market.. see if that helps

Google Maps obeys the phone's location settings for determining what method to use (GPS vs. cell and/or wifi signals). Check your global location settings and make sure GPS is enabled, and consider turning off "Use wireless networks", at least temporarily. I do not believe Google Earth obeys these settings, using GPS all of the time, but I could be mistaken.
I believe with both settings checked, Google Maps will initially use cell tower and/or wifi signals to estimate your location until it can resolve your true GPS location. It may even continue to factor in the cell/wifi signal information, which is why I suggest turning that option off while comparing locations between Maps and Earth.
Good luck.

It does not help about the accuracy, but google maps will pinpoint my position to another place about some hundreds meters away now.
This is really weird so I try to find if I have installed something that interfere with google maps, maybe found it.
I have installed street view on google maps in the past, but this application does not work without any indication that it exists, and it can't be either uninstalled or opened, it looks like a zombie in the system now.
I guess it's still working when google maps run, it only do some wired thing to make maps malfunction now.
Do you know a way to uninstall this zombie totally? If there's no way in stock sprint rom,i need to learn to root and flash my evo then, I really don't feel much fun in this now.

Vibrant with network based location off, GPS based location on
Same story for one DROID X at this store even with it's AGPS on (there is an option within the location menu for enabling or disabling aGPS on the X), but another DROID X got a quicker fix than both of those DROID's however I suspect it was polling GPS before I opened up maps. The Vibrant pulled that location in about 10 seconds, no "Location Unavail." Msg at all and it was all indoors.
ha thats the same store i bought my vibrant from i can tell your by rainbow and 215 but yeah i havent really had issues with my gps at least that i know of it seems accurate to me
Side by side comparison with my G1 shows me (at least) that the 2 Vibrants I've tested take about 10x as long to get a fix and use about 1/10th the number of satellites.
I haven't had a single gps error since before the vibrant was even released but judging by how many people are I suspect certain batches were defected

Same story for me, except my Vibrant side-by-side with my Blackberry 8900 (can't confirm # of satellites but I can confirm time to get a lock).
Anecdotal evidence isn't convincing me that Samsung is dragging their feet here.

That sounds bad but can we get some guesstimates in time? 1secondx10=10 seconds. 10secondsx10=100seconds..
In MS-Based mode under LBSTestMode (whether or not this actually makes any changes to GPS behavior, that's what I have it in) It takes no time to get a lock.
gps works great for me. I get a lock in doors instantly..... Its a little off though in doors but out doors its spot on. I dont need to find a pot of gold so within 20 feet is good for me.
Locational services work, maybe, one out of five times for me. When they try to locate me, it shows me in a neighboring city for at least five minutes. If I wait forever, it will sometimes finally update with the correct location.
So im at work in a huge brick building. With just my location on it puts me about 10 blocks away. I went outside on the deck at work in a open view, opened google maps again and saw I was still 10 blocks away, I pulled down my notification bar and turned gps on, within 4 seconds it found me right dead smack center of my work building.
I dont know, I dont have any issues though. Thing works great for me...
The thing is, it sometimes works quite well. I haven't been able to nail now a pattern with it. Turning on AGPS helps a lot, sometimes. Other times it fails to download the data for AGPS and drops to standalone mode, which is what it should do, but why would the download seem to fail when the G1 sitting next to it works fine? I've tried various settings for the server and such, all of them work sometimes.
The other irritating thing is when it seems to download the almanac, then proceeds to sit there "seeing" only one satellite (SNR bars in GPS Test). It knows which ones are in the sky, it should use that to get the GPS chip tracking all of them at once, as it has the channels. It's acting like a single channel receiver sometimes. That's a big reason why AGPS is so fast, it knows which channels to listen on, no need to search for signals.
I didn't have the G1 before the GPS was fixed, but it sounds a lot like our issue. The way the SGS acts leads me to think it's software related, likely the GPS driver or firmware. The actual RF performance seems pretty good, sometimes better than the G1 going by the SNR reported. It's just acting like it's often getting poor instruction from the driver/OS level.
My biggest complaint is that Samsung and TMobile are trying to act like it's not a problem. If Samsung can't reproduce it, they aren't trying or they have programmed the GPS chip in such a way that it works in their location. Samsung is a global company, there's no excuse for not testing a flagship device in multiple countries. And in todays market, there's no excuse for not being upfront and honest with your customers. Nor is there one for not beta testing with real customers in every major market you want to enter.
If I were running things over at Verizon, I'd be laughing my way to the bank and telling Samsung to keep their busted SGS. They were smart enough to get more than one manufacturer with a "superphone" and don't need Samsung. Between the Droid X and the Incredible, they have got TMO and AT&T spanked hard.
Yea, how long until their competitors start running ads poking fun at it, like the no jacket required ads last week making light of the iPhone antenna problems? HTC and moto should be all over this.
I am unable to get a lock indoors and outside it takes 20sec to a minute or more to lock on and then it turns on and off sporadically. It will seem to be fine and then it just does not function and then in awhile it seems to be better. I have the MS etc. fix enabled and before that it was not functioning with any kind of regularity or accuracy. I get 1 of 12 in use at the most and most of the time I get zero in use.The accuracy after it finally gets a lock is adequate but not great.I use Cardio trainer on a daily basis several times per day and it is just awful as it locks on and off and leaves me with terrible accuracy. Indoors it shows me about 2 to 3 miles away and most of the time it picks up no location at all. An email I received back from Samsung after complaining stated that they have not found the cause of any problem and they are continuing to try and find the cause and resolve the issue. I called tech supp and they at least mentioned that there might be an issue and could give me no other information. That is not very reassuring to me as the device has been out internationally for some months now and out of the box has had GPS issues. Really makes me question my decision to purchase this device. I do love it but the GPS is a integral part of my usage and it does not look like there is any help anytime soon. I am just past the 14 day period so a refund is not possible. I was holding on to the hope that Samsung would act quickly or even just act on this issue and I guess I was betting on a tired horse.I guess Samsungs track record speaks for itself and it is not too pretty. I really do prefer using it to my N1 it has tremendous potential to be as good or better than any phone on the market.

How's the GPS?

How is the GPS on the G2/Desire Z?
Is it fast? Can it lock quickly on the signal? Is it accurate?
I'm currently using a SGS I9000, and let just say it is quite crap.
GPS is pretty ****ty for me. Not as bad as (I assume) the GalaxyS line, but still pretty ****ty. 30m is unacceptable when my Droid (1) can get me walking around my house.
edit: Lock on takes for-frickin-ever indoors (if at all), and is decent outdoors. Yes, I've run gps status and cleared/redownloaded gps data, before anyone asks, lol.
Again, spoiled motodroid former user. I'd go back but vzw rapes with charges, and I like the G2 aside from the horrid (imo) gps. Ymmv.
zerosx's report is the first negative report i've seen re the GPS - mine's on the money (usually within 10') and 40-45 seconds from cold start to a lock on 4-9 satellites. not unusual to see a lock on 11 sats out of 11 in view
below is a screen capture of GPS Sat map i took, while in the house. It actually had me located withing 10 feet of where i was, until i plugged the phone into the usb port to take the screen capture and it jumped back 10 feet more at the instant i plugged it in.
did a "my tracks" log on a short trip across town - none of the path that looked like a drunk had drawn the lines like on my Vibrant, no cutting across corners at turns, no driving 75 feet off to the side of the road, etc
check the forums - you won't see any threads on the GPS - there just haven't been any issues

Meh, maybe I got a bad one? I really don't know, I seriously can't get the damn thing working.
i wasn't attacking the credibility of your report, just stating it was the first one i've seen
you might consider taking it back for exchange cause mine is eerily spot on - i say "eerily" cause after the vibrant, being located on the right block of my subdivision while outside, was a lucky day. Inside the house, it wouldn't even lock on one satellite
I have had issues with it picking up GPS in my house as well. Right now I have been looking at the GPS Test app and it still displays 0 satellites. When I go to Google maps my location is close but about 10 m off or so. When I am outside I have not had a problem with it. Yesterday I was able to pick up 4 to 6 satellites within about 40 sec. I'll try out the Tracks app later today and see if it is accurate.
This! GPS Status shows no satellites indoors. It's quite frustrating.
Larry - haha no prob. I didn't give it a second thought, and you're pretty much describing my former iphone4 to the letter. It was... creepy.
The GPS works fine if I just want to lock down where I am but the moment I start trying to use it in my car for turn by turn it goes south quick. It loses all signal and is stuck on "Searching for GPS..." for about 2 minutes then comes back and gives me about 30 seconds of information before freezing up again.
It's an improvement coming from the Vibrant but still not as solid as my Nexus One.
Mine is flawless, locks up withing seconds and it's super percise. The native nav app also works rather well.
GPS is one of the strongest points of my phone.
Mine is pretty accurate.
gps is all good here
Mine Locks way way faster then my old ass G1
GPS is fantastic. Locks about twice as fast as my nexus one does. 5ft-10m accuracy generally.
The GPS has been the best I have had. It locks a lot faster than my N1.

Well, today I haven't been able to use GPS at all. No lock. I cleared everything through GPS status and still no joy. Earlier in the week I had trouble, but that was due to a setting I had turned on in Beautiful widgets. I turned it off, and everything was fine. Its still turned off so now I'm left scratching my head. Granted, we're experiencing ****ty weather today due to a Nor'easter, but it isn't that bad, as I'm having no issues with my satellite tv signal. Typically I've been able to acquire lots of satellites (8 or more typically) anywhere in my home, so I'm a little worried, especially since I just past my remorse period and am now into t-mobiles "go **** in a hat" part of phone ownership. Any suggestions? I've done two battery pulls today and GPS is still dodgy. Stuff like this makes me miss tin cans and string.
since you've already noticed one app affecting your GPS, have you thought about backing all your apps up to your SD card (OnTheFLy backup app) and then un-installing them, doing a factory reset and seeing if GPS functionality comes back?
Yeah, I thought about that. Gps started working again a short while ago. I'll probably give the backup/wipe deal a shot tomorrow. Out of all of the apps I've installed that have options concerning control of gps the beautiful widgets home weather widget is the only one that appears to knacker gps functionality. We shall see.
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using XDA App
if its the beautiful widgets with animations, iirc some folks have complained about that update version
i'm still running the first version, with no problems
It works very well with in 5 feet. I believe the G2 is A-GPS it uses cell towers
and other means too track your location.
I used it in LA all last week when visiting. It was awesome and there was only one time where it navigated incorrectly.

[Q] CM7 RC4 + Which radio = Working GPS?

So which radio version do I flash with RC4 to get the GPS to work? It seems like I flashed all the radios but my gps doesn't work.
I'm using CyanogenMod 7 RC4 as well and I've found that GPS has been fine with the stock radio (see my sig -- that's the stock radio from Bell).
Have you tried using the GPS Status app to reset and redownload the A-GPS data?
I have a tmobile phone, so I don't know what my stock radio is. And no I haven't. Is that a free Market app?
EDIT: How do I even know if my GPS works or not? The way I am testing is by using IGo My way GPS application, which doesn't detect where I am, so I assume that my GPS doesn't work.

It seems that GPS status works, Google Maps work, but IGoMyWay doesn't detect my position. Why is that?

That's right, the app GPS Status & Toolbox will tell you whether the GPS is working or not. Just install for Market and open the app. If you are in clear view of the sky and a working GPS, you should see the app starting to pick up the satellites within a couple minutes or less. You will see points starting to pop up on the circular compass display, indicating the positions of the satellites. Below that, green bars will start to pop up, indicating signal strength with each satellite (maybe not the exactly correct terminology here, but you'll see what I mean). Once the GPS has locked onto enough satellites, you will see the lat/long coordinates pop up. This also means that other apps, like Google Maps, or any other map/nav programs you prefer, can start using your GPS position.
If the GPS is "broken" you will so absolutely no activity on either the circular display, or the bar graph.
GPS Status & Toolbox will also download A-GPS data, which can help get faster locks onto the satellites. The A-GPS data is regularly updated information on the positions of the different satellites, making it a bit faster for the GPS to find them.
Help me redpoint! I downloaded CoPilot and it also could not detect any GPS signals, even though I turned on GPS! Only the GPS status detected satellites.
WHHYYYY??!?! I AM SO FRUSTRATED!!
RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!
lulz but yeah, I don't want to spend unnecessary money on an actual GPS device if I don't have to.
EDIT: GPS status does not work anymore. It worked before. I had RC4 for both when it worked and when it stopped working. What the hell?
Have you tried this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12635790&postcount=20
I had the GPS issue on RC1, and this fixed it. RC2 for me worked fine as-is. I haven't tried RC3 or 4 yet. I've pretty much decided CM7 is cool if you want the latest and greatest bells and whistles, but its got more than its fair share of bugs. Right now, its Virtuous for me.
It doesn't work.
I also tried flashing the radios. They don't work either...
This is strange. I guess the last resort is to ditch CM7 and go back to CM 6.1.1? Or Virtuous?
Sounds like you got the GPS running for a bit, but now its not? What worked?
Try the OTA stock .26 TMobile radio and format the sytem, data, and cache partitions before flashing new ROMs. I haven't had GPS problems since I started doing that.
@ ra990: Do you mind directing me to the download source?
@ redpoint: The first time I turn on the GPS it would work, but after that any subsequent time I use it, it doesn't work.
EDIT: Google Maps works when I am connected to wifi at home and GPS is on. I then close Google Maps and start up GPS status and it won't detect satellites. I then proceed to open up CoPilot and the program won't detect any GPS signals. I then open google maps again and it still works. I then turn my wireless off and watched my position on Google Maps suddenly change and becomes inaccurate (IE, moves my location to a place that I was not physically at from a place where I was physically at, but was not that far off.)
EDIT EDIT: I tried 3 different roms, 1 stock gingerbread, 1 gingerbread sense, 1 virtuous. All failed on me.
EDIT EDIT EDIT: I tried ra990's version. In fact, I tried all the versions and I followed this as well:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1021463
Nothing works.
GPS status is not accurate in measuring if it works for me. Becuase back when i did not have a lock the gps status was working but my navigation was not picking up anything nor the gps symbol showing. After reflashing the .26 radio my gps works.
Just to check, how long should I wait for it to pick up a signal before I say it "doesn't" work? Cause I've been waiting for like 5-10 minutes for it to pick up a signal each time I test.

If the GPS is "not working" due to the CM7 bug, you will not get a lock, or even any activity on GPS Status, no matter how long you wait. If you are getting a lock at all, or any communication with the satellites, this seems like a different issue than the CM7 bug I've seen.
If you haven't used the GPS in a while (couple days) or your location has changed significantly (like getting off a plane) its not unusual in my experience to take a few minutes, maybe 5, to get a lock. That is because the locations of the satellites in the sky would have changed enough, that it takes some time for the GPS to find and lock onto them. But if you have used the GPS recently (maybe within a couple hours, but certainly if you turn it off and go back in a few minutes) it should lock pretty quickly, within a couple minutes, maybe faster.
And does collecting them signals get that much affected by being indoors as opposed to outdoors? Will the time vary significantly?

Absolutely!!!! Have you been trying to do this indoors? Go outside and try it. And with as much a clear view of the sky as possible, so an area with a minimum of trees, buildings, etc.
Although the Vision is better at getting a GPS lock in my house compared to my past 2 phones (Touch Pro 2, Kaiser), it usually only works by a window for me. And in some buildings, I never get a lock. Results will vary depending on the type of building, being by a window, etc. In the car tends to work pretty well too, but I will usually put the phone on the dashboard to get a lock, where it has a better view of the sky thru the windshield.
Although it might work indoors, its much better to exclude the building interference from the equation while you are troubleshooting.
Oooooh. That might be the problem. I will try and go outdoors and report my findings.

Good news, everyone! It worked!
What I did was flash a radio (to be honest I forgot which one, it's either the .26 or .28b one) and I also matched it with that automatic radio matcher zip you flash. And it can pick up signals now if I am outdoors or sticking my phone out of the window in my house!
Thx everyone for all ur help!

Galaxy Note GPS inflight

Hello everybody,
I have been trying my Galaxy Note for weeks in airplane at high altitudes/high speeds, till now I couldn't figure out when & how to use the Galaxy Note GPS as a reliable equipment as for unknown reasons to me it gets locked to satellites inflight randomly this could happens sometimes immediately & other times takes hours with no signal or 3 satellites at most, even when its locked to satellites it keeps working fine but if close GPS for 1 minute it couldn't come back to life again, one time I tried it locked already from ground before take-off and it kept working fine the whole flight as i didn't turn it off. I'm starting to develop a pattern on how to get a signal faster while in airplane and it seems to me holding the Galaxy Note like an LNB for satellite antennas helps you to get it locked faster I can't confirm this even its just an idea.
I hope some body can figure out why the Galaxy Note GPS acting like this inflight. Also if any one have some software that can let me send the GPS NMEA data I could use that to see my position on any windows map software like Google earth or aviation software like Jeppesn Flite star/JeppView
Here is some pictures for my randomly successful trials

not an expert on this. but sometimes if the device have satellite data cached while it has data access, it will lock on faster.
Back in my galaxy s days, the a common fix to resolve the crappy gps issue was to clear agps data and force the phone to get a new set of data from google's server.
Not sure if that's what cause your problem tho...
slow fix when in flight is possibly due to the speed you're doing at that point, it's going to be tough getting a fix when going that fast (coming from a cold lock)
From your pictures I gather you are a pilot as well
If you have a decent fix before takeoff, and you have your Note
stuck to the sidewindow, you should retain your fix.
As soon as you take it away from the window you
start loosing your fix fast. Reobtaining the fix will get harder and harder.
This behaviour is least noticable at ground level, most noticable with increased
speeds and altitudes.
Just stick it low on a side window in a mount, should keep working.
BTW : What the name of the app there ?
Off topic but what plane were you flying?

The interesting is that I had many cheaper Nokia around me on the same flights and all of them got GPS locked in less than a minute without any concerns how you hold the device just put it facing the windows nothing more so its unbelievable to have the latest Samsung state of the art Galaxy Note with such GPS unreliable performance, you can also notice in pic no. 5 the speed is only 180 km/h which is totally error.

Wow, I never owned a Nokia with GPS, but that is amazing!
I've seen many pax and crew struggle to get GPS fixed, no matter where they are in flight. Maybe Nokia's are just really good at highspeed/alt. fixing. (commercial jets)
From old "serial" GPS , to bluetooth mouse GPS, to internal (a)gps, it has always been a struggle at highspeed/alt.
Then again, stuff I fly rarely exceeds 200knots/20.000 feet so I'm all good up there
Safe skies !
PM sent.
I was sent this post in a PM, dont know why maybe to help explain, or offer my gps fix, honestly dont know. But after reading this, here are some reasons why you might be havng this issue:
Phones put the antenna (gps) in different places, holding it sometimes blocks the signal or weakens it (Yes the signal and antenna is that weak).
Speed plays a factor, inflight will take longer then before.
Time of day, sats remember are not in the same position all the time.
Warm lock opposed to a cold lock, Hard lock opposed to a soft lock.
And who makes the gps chip.
There are many factors when it comes to gps signals.

GPS issue

I have my S3 since Saturday. Sunday was actually the first day to test it. The only thing I did Saturday was to update it, OTA.
Of course, I took it for a drive several hundred miles. Everything looked good. It fixes the location very fast and accurate... many times better than my previous S2... however, at one point it did lost the location....... after a reboot it started working fine again and was able to complete my drive very happy about it.
Unfortunately, I have to say, the serious problems started Monday.
My S3 is loosing the satellites constantly. A reboot fixes the problem, but again, after about 10 minutes, it looses the satellites. No matter what I am running, waze, Google maps, GPS Test Pro etc., it is all the same: it sees a big number of satellites, but it doesn't lock on them... even if the signal strength is considerable good with some of them (that could turn them to green if in GPS Test Pro).
I don't see any reason why it would loose the lock of the satellites.
Getting tired rebooting my S3, I tried a couple of tools from the market: GPSfix and GPSaids... although I am not sure about the first one, even that it helped, the later one helps indeed. After running it and return to my navigation program the S3 starts locking the satellites again and fast and very price... for another 10 minutes.
Not sure what to do... guess my next step is to root my device and try FasterFix and other tools that requires root... or even try a custom rom and different rom/modem.
Any idees, suggestions?
The phone is purchased from Vodafone Romania.

Thanks in advance.
To be on the safe side I think you should return it, otherwise flash xxalf6 rom and check if you still have the same problem

how about trying to calibrate the compass first

Another thing I noticed:
for example, at home, with or without wifi enabled, I let the GPS on for more than an hour and haven't noticed it loosing the lock on the satellites.
I guess it happens only when my position changes (driving).
So, am I the only one with this strange behavior of the S3?
It might be as well, as you suggest, the firmware/modem branded version from Vodafone Romania.
I will certainly contact Samsung and ask them about it.

I will give it a try...
I am on Omega V6, and the GPS literally saved my friends and I over this weekend in the desert with almost no gas and no reception.
THANK YOU SGS3!
I had to rotate it a lot to get to 3 where the line pointing to North (I guess) was blue.
LE: Now I will give it a drive test to tell if it helps.

Doesn't really helps me... how about when you were on stock rom?
GPS' performance was one of the main reasons I switched from S2 to S3... being able to point me down in areas where's no GSM network and no roads.
I am using the navigation regularly for a 2 hours car trip. I haven't noticed any lost position, Crossing the country side with about 30mn without gsm connection.

In the app, hit menu then settings and clear agps the update agps. Used to help me on the S2, especially when far from home or overseas. Even though it shouldn't need it bit try just in case.

I have a strange problem:
I'm on omega 6.0 and my GPS fixes 14-18sats in about 5-10 seconds. sometimes ti finds satellites and just don't fix them without data connection or Wifi. Tried both LF2 and LF5 modems. cleaning cache and dalvik cache helped. but I'm aware it will happen again
any ideas? I'm using GPS status and toolbox to monitor GPS
I have calibrated the magnetic sensor. From 1 went to 2 and then to 3. From 2 to 3 had to spin the phone A LOT.
Anyway, left the house with GPS on. The GPS stayed locked for about 2 hours.
Later on the day, the GPS started to lose the lock again.
I checked again with the magnetic sensor and it was down to 1 again. Brought it quickly to 2 again. GPS started working.
Minutes later, GPS lock lost again. Using GPS Test Pro (clear AGPS) or GPS aids or other similar application... or even doing the magnetic (re)calibration offers only a TEMPORARILY solution.
Beside trying a different/newer modem/rom, does anyone have a permanent solution to this stock UNrooted rom?
Thanks.
Anyone else from Vodafone Romania experience this issue as well?
I am coming to the conclusion that the magnetic sensor is broken (keeps decalibrating) and that affects seriously fixing the location.
