[Q] Recovery reboots before I can choose wipe or flash

[q] help! Stuck at bootscreen no zip file!

My phone crashed and got stuck at the boot screen with the M. I think all I need is the stock Droid 2 Rom to put on the sd card but I don't have it and can't find it. please help!

Can you access clockwork?
If yes, please do a nandroid restore.
If no, please proceed.

If you've not flashed these GAPPS then do so from HERE.
If you've done that then wipe data and cache in the clockwork mod (recovery mode). I had to do that to my build

solved by reflashing cwm and sideloading - seems the zip was corrupt. please delete.

I've tried to install CM7 on my Defy with success, but now I've tried to install a different zip and it says it couldn't mount cache... please help!

Try to wipe cache from stock recovery
