Look around the G1 forums ....there's an 'Angry Birds' thread around here somewhere that provides the patches and explains how to use them with gscript. Angry Birds Seasons runs just fine on my G1 using the patch. (It was unplayable before using the patch.)
Yeah, if you search the thread for "Angry Birds?" There should be a post on the second page by Ohsaka (I think that's his name, Sorry for the wrong spelling, its the person who made the super wipe) & u download the app "gscript lite" from market, download the patch by Ohsaka. Make a new folder in ur sd root & name it "gscript" place the patch in that new folder. & just follow the rest of the instruction posted by the awesome Ohsaka

Well, use the latest(first in list) htc-msm-linux. After the download completes, copy and rename zImage**** to zImage(replace the old zImage) the modules don't need rename, just delete the old modules. I've already posted that in the gingerbread thread, you can read it, take a look at the video, you will like it, I like it
more than FROYO X (I'm talking about the Gingerbread)

Hi Folks
im new to the custom rom scene, so please forgive me if this sounds like a really stupid question
I have only installed 2 roms so far Wildpuzzle V0.8 and CM7 6.1.0
When i install WP i only get approx 90mb internal memory yet when i install cm7 i get approx 165mb internal
i have followed melvan changs guide on the forums here and i have even spoken to him in person and we have tried several options but none seem to work
Therefore is there another way of getting 165mb in wildpuzzle or can someone (try and) explain why cm7 gets 165 but wp only gets approx 95mb
I have tried several different makes of micro sd cards but with no success
again sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but im trying to figure out why i can get nearly double the amount of internal memory if i use cm7 rather then wp

Wrong forum. Therefore I hate you.
CM7 is AOSP-based, so you can use JIT and it's quicker.
But you don't get HTC's framework, so no Sense (Which is slow as hell anyway), or Sense apps.
apologies for posting it in the wrong forum, i thought with it being a rom based question it should belong in development...can a mod move it?
ok so maybe i might have to use cm7 and try and change the things i dont like about it
thanks for the reply nick, i shall try and post in the correct forums next time
Also note that CM7 is Android version 2.3.3
Whereas WildPuzzle is at 2.2.1
You need an ext partition and move dalvik cache to sd for that much free space on wildpuzzle, but who really needs that much lol
Edit you can try formatting everything.
i got a lot of fc's on cm7
i have jit enabled and setcpu on (but maybe im not using it correctly)
i tried to create the partition in rom manager and using an pc software, but no joy (again unless im doing it wrong)
Try a gparted live cd.
yeh thats the one i tried
you got any instructions?
Go to rom manager and pick fix permissions, that might help some fc's. Also try flashing jacobs 4.1 kernel since 4.2 doesn't work for some people.
For setcpu make the min > 122 and max < 768
so i need nightly full 15 from here
http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=nightly&device=buzz
then jacobs 4.1 from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=798471
then google apps (if i want them)

CM6.1 and Wildpuzzle... not CM7...

Sense isn't slow. It's equal to CM7 if not faster. It's only slow in places that are processor-intensive (benchmarks, games, web browsing etc.) while the interface is really smooth, much smoother than any AOSP based ROM.

Mmm hmm yeah in wildpuzzle v0.8 the dalvik cache was on the phone to improve performance. Easily moved to sd to free up memory if you really need it, just read at least at least the first page of the Rom thread carefully (directed to forst post^)

Hey I'm on CM7RC1 with Eugene's Kernel. It shows the startup and after that the screen goes blank. I will donate $5 via Paypal to whomever can help me get it running. Possibly a different combination of ROM and kernel might get it to run as it runs on other HTC phones fine so I think I can rule out the Emulator as being the entire problem. Thanks!

I feel comfortable ruling that out after trying 4 different versions. EU, US, AU etc.
My offer for $5 to help me find a fix or workaround still stands!
Hello dawg
Ether your emulator is not compatible (happened to me) or your rom is corrupted. Theres an apk called "Emulator Roms" (version 2.2.1) out and it will give you downloads for most roms, worth playing, and up to date emulators that are compatible with CM7 (aka Gingerbread lol)
Google to find the download or wait for me cause i forgot where it is haha
http://www.paulscode.com/forum/index.php?topic=60.msg563#msg563
The emu is not optimized yet, and there is no GUI. But Banjo Tooie is working on this emulator!
To play Banjo Tooie, go on your sd card. Open the folder App-Data> Paulscodeblahblah folder > Roms > Place the Banjo Tooie rom here and rename it to mario.n64 ( dont forget to rename or delete the original mario.n64 )
It lags on my device but i already said the emu needs optimization because it is still in alpha

I found this and its getting alot of praise across the forum and i wonder if anyone tried it with our Tab. I installed and it seem to have effect. Scrolling between screens seems much smoother. But there is alot of options and diffrent variation of tweaks to choose from, i installed number 9. i read in SGS2 forum about this and someone used number 9 and it was good for him, we have the same amount of memory so i thougt i would try it. heres the link to original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276 . It seems to a good tweak because rom makers in SGS2 are puting it in there builds by default and it can by applied to any android device.
