I'm looking for a compatible apk of the camera app for use on CM... I've tried the miui rom itself and it wasn't quite my style... the apk I extracted does not install, so idk if there may be another version.. any help or advice is appreciated!

Works great! I don't use the color effects so it's no problem for me... but how do you activate the ffc?
This one doesn't support ffc yet. As soon as I get that one I'll post a link.

Well once again, thanks! I'll be waiting for it!
I also have a pressing desire to get my hands on a Miui Camera apk with FFC!
When it comes, it will replace my current one completely haha

I just received my new nexus s 4g from sprint in the mail, there is an update for 2.3.5. What are the positives and negatives of updating to 2.3.5?

Mostly it's for the radio update that is coming with 2.3.5.
Just 2.3.5 is a preparation of Google's wallet and more changes that aren't visible first hand.
Are their any sense roms avaible for the nexus s 4g?

We had a Sense port in the Nexus S (non-4G) section, it caused some bricked phones. I can't recommend any right now.

not right now, one is being worked on.
Most of the changes require the 2.3.5 update and not just the radio such as improved wifi and speaker issues...cyanogenmod has incorporated 2.3.5 into their nightlies

One click has worked fine for me. Seems safe enough.

how to port nexus s 4g to nexus s?
i don't know
I LOVED Remics ICS. I've no idea or the time to learn how to port it to our NS but it'd be nice if somebody did.
I was waiting for Michael Campos to port newest build but it seems that may not happen, I don't know. I will see what I can do, I actually think the ICS version was better, but I haven't tried the newest build yet.
Hey everyone, I was hoping someone could tell me which phone to use as a base to port from? I know phones with closest hardware are ideal. Any suggestions are appreciated.

What is it that you want to port ?
When using source code to port, hardware similarity doesn't really matter that much.
However N4 has official support from the major ROM devs and that makes it a really good base.
