Is anyone else having problem with YouTube app when you push the back button during a video. I have been told that the YouTube app was broken on the update that they did a while back. I did a nandroid backup with stock (no kernel,no roms flashed yet) I am not having any issues with you tube at all. Can anyone else confirm this. Thank you

This has been confirmed. There's a thread on it already
Yes. Just uninstall the update and revert back to the old version.
Very strange because it works with my stock Rom. If it was the app, for one everyone would of made a pretty big deal about having to restart the phone everytime they push back while watching a YouTube video. Two, it would do the same on my stock Rom but it doesn't, works fine. If there is another thread on this can you send me a link I couldn't find a solution.

So a lot of pages just close when I open them. I installed the 2.2 leak last night and didn't have much time to pay with it until today. It seems to me any web page with Any flash content at all is making this happen

This does not appear to be a leaked OTA, since was not intended for publishing. If it were a leaked OTA, it would install on non-rooted devices with no problem. This is probably a later stage test rom. If it were not, the actual OTA would have been leaked as well and not just one that requires multiple steps and no radio to go with it.

this is just a guess, but maybe you used titanium backup and restored system settings that are causing force closes
OP, in the browser settings disable the plugins and see if it crashes when you goto those sites. I was having this issue and no I didn't have to hard reset to fix it. Basically the issue was Flash 10.1 for me. I had the modified flash apk installed for 2.1 and when I updated to 2.2 it messed something up. To fix this open up titanium, choose backup/restore click on adobe flash and choose uninstall. Now reboot your device and renable the plugin in the browser you should be all set now.
I'm also getting FC's in the browser. This is with plugins disabled, cleared cache, history, cookies, etc... And I didn't restore via Titanium. I can browse for a few minutes and then a FC...
Ctinsley, you are the man. I followed exactly what you said and now no more internet explorer crashing. Once again you rock!

I just got this new MyTouch 4G here and it's been working well all day. While waiting on a red light in my car tonight, I turn on the screen and I see this. It's on 2.2 (no OTA). Has anyone seen this happen on this phone?
I uploaded the short vid to youtube. Pardon my voice, it was recorded on a MyTouch Slide.

That happend to me also send it back to tmobile I did that and they just sent me a new phone

My phones been doing the crazy screen flippy thing as well. I'm new to the mt4g (coming from the g2)... But I assumed this was a known issue with the youtube update...but is it not? Is the flippy screen thing an issue I should be concerned about?

There's nothing wrong with the phone... its a known youtube bug in the updated app

I just uninstalled the update and used the preinstalled version.

Off topic but what kind of case is that you have in the video?

Funny, I thought I was the only with this issue as I was on the phone with T-Mobile and they wanted me to exchange the device. I fixed it myself since the phone is fine otherwise. Since I was on 2.1 I simply followed the 2.21 update instructions and have a rooted phone now with a functional YouTube update.
I have a video of it is as well but I'm restricted from posting links since I'm not "verified".
Thanks guys. The issue was resolved after installing the OTA. I didn't have this issue on my first MT4G so my first reaction was hardware issue. Then I accidentally tried playing my YouTube video back and realized it was the app.
Thanks for the help!

Recently, my camera is failing to save any image that is taken. I've tried every camera app I could find and several different roms including fission 2.4.3 and gummyjar 2.5
Can anyone help me with this? Any help is greatly appreciated
The problem started after I updated from fission 2.2.2 to 2.3.1. I posted the problem on their board and I got no response

Does your other media work like camcorder, music, etc?
The camcorder doesn't work. Most video playback works, but youtube doesn't. I don't use my phone for music, so I don't know about that.

Have you messed with the DCIM folder on your SD card? Such as opened it and accidenctly sorted by date or size? I did that once and my cam wouldn't save a pic...let a lone even open the app. So I hooked my phone to computer and ascended the date from old to newest. meaning the newest pic was at the bottom of the folder. unhooked and rebooted phone and all was fine... just my two...
Seems that Video is broken in Google Talk on this rom. When ever I try to video call some one, the screen goes black like its about to start video and then goes back to the contact list. Tried reinstalling Google Talk, this hasn't helped.
Also, Skype video calls, no one can hear me unless I plug some headphones in or don't use video.

I'm pretty sure it's an issue with the new update when you have Bluetooth on. Try uninstalling updates to You Tube

Yes, it's a frequently reported bug, especially - but not exclusively - to Note 3 users. Google will figure it out but until then do as teejaymarx advised and go into Settings/application manager/YouTube and uninstall updates.

Thanks for mentioning this OP, I was just about to post it myself. I uninstalled the update and the "send to TV" icon disappears. Also, I turned off my BT headset and the icon also disappears.

Downgrade your version of youtube until they fix the issue, if you can unistall the update, good if not then delete it, then look for the youtube.apk 5.1.10 I found it on androidpolice.com
