Debug Mode - Galaxy Tab General

Is there a way to get into debug mode using adb? My tab keeps rebooting as soon as it hits the home screen, so I cannot put it into debug mode using the normal way.
Alternatively is there a way to root the tab from adb without being in debug mode?

[DEV] Find the APX mode

In order to flash a custom recovery we need to find out IF there is a apx mode for the A500 and HOW to get into this mode.
apx mode would furthermore help to restore our tablets if things are borked.
EDIT: This describes how to get there: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13629976&postcount=155
the thing with apx mode is that on some tablets its needed to hold both volume buttons to get to apx mode and on a500 acer made this physically impossible, could be locked behind this issue...
the question is if it may be forced in another force like an adb reboot command.
samsung devices have adb reboot download as command for the odin interface.

APX Mode seems to be found
When he says "the right driver" he means the same one I use to adb shell into the device? Or a different one? I can't remember how it was with my gtablet.

Just to double check, you are not in bootloader mode when trying to use adb? And you have USB debugging switched on?

Correct USB Debug is enabled, and I am at my default desktop.

[q] debugging mode

I am trying to use my rooted galaxy s5 sm-g900f in debugging mode, and when I enable the mode it works for 5 second and than reconnects to the pc not in debugging mode. the option stays ticked but if I go back and getting in developer options again it isn't ticked. it is not a problem with the computer because it happens even when it is not physically connected with a cable.
Thank you for helping

Enable USB Debug

Hello,
i have a Samsung Galaxy S3 Neo i9301i with broken LCD and touchscreen. I cant see anything.... I can use only side buttons.
It has stock ROM and USB Debug is deactivated.
I am able to use only adb sideload from CWM 6.0.5.1(i flashed it normally using Odin).
I want to back up photos etc. My PC cant see internal sdcard and cant connect with Kies and Smart Switch.
I think there is a hope via adb.
So, my question is:
Can i enable USB Debug somehow??
I am listening your ideas.
I was thinking to flash a kernel with enabled USB Debug using adb sideload.

Activate USB Debugging

Hello Everyone!
Can somebody inform me on how to activate USB debugging when the screen is locked with a pin and the phone has stock software? Samsung phone with Nougat SW.
...
I have gotten this far with my windows 10 laptop which has adb tools installed:
Boot the phone the phone into Recovery Mode.
Select System Mount
Connect to PC and open CMD and change folder path where adb tools is located.
type adb devices in terminal
Now, the issue is that I see is a number followed by "unauthorized". I am trying to use commands such as adb shell, but seems like I am not allowed? I'm assuming it's because the phone is not USB Debug Enabled. I have a different phone which has USB Debug Enabled and adb shell commands are working perfectly. Any way to use shell commands or work arounds? Thanks in advance!
It is not possible to activate Debugging Mode with a locked screen. AFAIK it never was and it never will. And this is good as it is.

3. Boot your phone into ClockworkMod Recovery, by pressing and holding the Power Button + Home Button + Volume Up or Down, depending on your phone

Why or even HOW should he have ClockworkMod installed? your guide also is for making a Backup out of cwm when the touch is broken and not for activating debug mode
