Curious if anyone else is having quiet distant audio on Qik with the latest "Qik for evo" in the android market? I am presently running the sprint lovers 2.2 rom. Can anyone confirm how qik has been running in general lately? Esp if you are on another rom.

Okay, so the only thing that has me still thinking that WM6.5 is still superior to Android is the depressing quality of A2DP in the Android builds for the HD2.
I mean, granted it's higher quality than listening to music via the hands-free profile, but it is woefully lacking when compared to the A2DP coming from WM6.5 on my HD2.
I found a thread of Evo owners who are similarly upset over this, and there seems to be one ROM variant out there that addresses this for Evo owners, so surely this must be something that can be fixed on the ROM's for the HD2? (also, RIP Leslie Nielson)

Yes.. thank you for sharing this issue with us.. i hope google will fix this bug.. it just gives some white-noises in a music! i can't describe it

Check out this thread! Loads of us have been asking the same question for a while now. I wonder if it's fixed in Gingerbread...anyone tried it?
I have tried Cyanogen's new Gingerbread build on my HD2 and for the first time, I heard crisp, quality A2DP over my phone. It was awesome. However, I want to continue using my Froyo sense build so really would like to see a fix. It's possible....we just need a genius or 2 to work it out! I wonder if Cyanogen is contactable?
I am using the NAND stock Desire ROM on my HD2, and my AD2P is working flawlessly with my Sony Xplod unit in my car. HTC phones always worked good for me.

Installed few days ago from official 2.1 (updated at LG service centre). My process was from official 2.1 to Indian 2.1 with fastboot (I'm not Indian though), then to ASOP 2.3.2. I like this clean and less programmes come along. Nothing let me not happy except I missed many calls due to no ringtones sound or vibrate. I check setting and all volumes are set to maximum and vibration is on. Please help me.

I don't have much information regarding CM7 M6 or lower versions. It seems to me that its related posts assume all readers are fully aware of its functionalities and bugs. Honestly, I am new to android and this phone is my first phone that I want to experiment but without bricking my phone. If you could point me to a threat or post that provide full detail of individual release, I will be very satisfied.
GT540 Android development -> cyanogenmod Mur4ik M6 (or something like that) ... you can find it on your own ;-) I have M6 and I can say it's perfect ROM

I read some threats regarding M6. There is a non favorable issue of freezing complaint by many users. It is better to wait for Joestone to come with an update. I do not want to take risks at this time.

For my job purposes I am using in-call recording software, to record both party voices. Until 2.1 it was easy - just a matter of choosing the right software. Sound was clear and everything was fine.
Yesterday with a big hope I upgraded to 2.3.3 and after testing some 5 tools, I found out that none of them work.
I heard rumors, that it might be related to kernel restrictions. so there comes a question. Is it matter of waiting for some skillful guy to provide custom rom which allows the above, or it is just a matter of root?

I just got the Nexus 4 and according to everyone I call, they cannot hear my well even if I'm literally yelling next to the phone.
I'm running latest 4.2.2 stock. I've been looking online and it seems to be a common problem, but the latest post I found was in February. Has it been fixed yet?
