Force 4G connection?

Is it possible to force a 4G connection on the Epic or EVO? With both phones they keep switching between 4G and 3G and I have a great signal on both. BTW, the top speed on the Epic was 3.4 and the EVO's highest was 1.8

Switch to epic from evo?

I had an epic and was going on my 3rd one then got fed up with the issues..they were hardware related..are issues resolved for the most part because I might be coming back to the epic. Any advice?

My issues were a wobbly keyboard and a dead line if pixels in the screen.

sidekick 4G: Vibrant with a keyboard?

I have long wished for a physical keyboard to go with this amazing touchscreen, but I know I may have to relinquish the phone for a new one before a case would ever be designed with a keyboard attached.
Do you think the sidekick is a comparable phone to the vibrant? I'm thinking about getting one for the keyboard...

I was looking to do the same thing. Funny thing though, my evo was having a few issues so i took it to Sprint and they ate replacing it with a nexus s. Score!
