Well Im not sure if "force closing" is the right description of the problem.. whenever I attempt to open the camera or video recording applications It starts momentarily and then just dumps me back to my home screen. As this is happening I've noticed the following like e in aLogcat:
W/Settings( 1419): Setting location_providers_allowed has moved from android.provider.Settings.System to android.provider.Settings.Secure, returning read-only value.
Has anyone else experienced this problem or know how I can solve it? I and on the stock verizon ROM 2.2 OTA with root, not deodexed yet (will get to it soon hopefully). If more details are needed please advise me what I should post. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks xda members :]

Ok so i have the newest radio and flashed the ota. Camcorder was broken. Ok so RUUd and then did the whole process and then the camcorder worked. Then i removed some apps like city id friendstream etc. Camcorder became broken upon reboot. By broken i mean is that it opens for a few seconds then justs sends me to the homescreen. No FC messages...just politely closes it self. I have seen a person or 2 with this issue. I think it has something to do with either mail or flickr. Not sure. Don't have logcat. Any other issues?
Anyone else have this problem?
I got a Vega primarily for its video chat functionality but cannot get any app to work reliably. The closest I've got is when using Skype v2.5.4.162 and running Vegacomb 3.2 build 9n Update 3.
It works but...there is a delayed echo when you speak into the Vega, ie. you can hear everything you say with about a 2 second delay. It is so pronounced, intrusive and distracting that the app is pretty much unusable - extremely frustrating
I've tried altering the settings, speaker & mic volumes etc. and still can't get rid of it. I've also tried reinstalling the app but still no joy. I've also tried installing other versions of the Skype app but, as experienced by others, so far v2.5.4.162 is the one that works with the least issues.
Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution? Does anyone have any suggestions? If so, I'd be really really grateful for any advice or help you can offer.
I did do a search on the forums and it seems that some have got Skype and other videochat apps working ok on Vegacomb - what am I missing...?
Many thanks
Skype - help!
Hi
Can anyone help with my Skype-related problems please? Happy to consider changing ROM or whatever, but really do need Skype to work without occasional Force Close, persistent delayed voice & echo problems etc.
Any advice or suggestions gratefully received..!

Sorry can't help you with the Skype thingie, because I have the problem myself as well. But can you tell me if voice & video chat on Google Talk works for you? Because with me the app shuts down when I try to attempt it...
I have the VegaCream ROM btw..
Hi,
After unlocking and rooting the Nexus 4 I have found that whenever i open the camera and try to take a picture, it takes one then the screen goes blank and then then the camera app crashes and I get the error "Unfortunately, Gallery has Stopped".
Looking into it a bit it the com.google.android.gallery3d version 40001 is what is crashing.
Is anyone else getting the same issue, or can anyone offer any advice?
Cheers

I'm having issue where my camera picture would just freeze and then force close. It happens a lot after I rotate from portrait to landscape. I do not know what's going on

Similar thing happened to me, though it was when I tried to select a picture for my contacts, I just got "Unfortunately, Gallery has Stopped".
I made a back-up of the Gallery and deleted it through Root Uninstaller, but then when I tried to re-install it; it just failed.
There is no real solution to this other than flashing stock again, I had to do it, its a large loss though its worth it imo.
Check out this toolkit:
wugfresh.com/nrt/
It can flash stock for you if you dont know how, just select this option and hit the button.

I found out my problem was that I was under voltage too much

Same issue here. Anybody find a fix for this
I'd be greatful if someone could suggest an "easy" way to get my GS4 (SGH-M919) running Android 5.0.1 to stop with the constant volume warning nagging me when watching videos at higher volumes through MX Player Pro. For the love of god, I don't want to see that message anymore.
Advice appriciated.
If there is no option in the settings menu, then there's always Xposed.
Is there no way to navigate the OS files myself and just edit/delete the issue?

There should be an option to disable it. Something related to smart volume.
If that doesn't work, the only other solution is Xposed. I've read other threads on this topic and haven't seen any other answers other than Xposed.
i don't know if this is the right section but maybe it is.. so, sometimes, when i unlock my phone with fingerprint, google keyboard freeze and doesn't works, it simply stops responding. Is it a known bug or not? I have this problem when the keyboard is open on a messaging app, anyone knows a mod to solve? thanks to all and sorry if I'm on wrong section.
