How can I change the default storage option for camera ?
I would love to know this too since my memory card just died. Been using it for < than 1 month.

Hi!
I have an external MicroSD Card and I am using it for TomTom and other applications. So the card is working great.
But I tried to change the settings of the cam to store the pictures to the external flash instead to the internal (small) one. I can change the setting but it does not work. Next time I check the settings the default storage is again the interal flash.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Johannes
Same thing happened to me. My Vario II would not remember the setting. I fixed it by selecting the memory icon from the camera screen (the small picture of the storage card at you will see when the camera is activated). It seems to remember this setting rather than the setting in the Settings menu. Strange!
Hi,
thank you for that information. You are right, with this hint it is working...

Johannes
My Camera Show Me that I can Take Only 631 Photo But My Memory that Left Was 4.4 GB So I Dont Know How To Set It -*-
Thank All
Did you set your place, where to save photos, to Storage Card? It is done in Camera app settings.
I Set As Storage Card
But It Show Me That I Can Save only 631 Pic T_T
And If I Save in My PPC It Show that I can Take 560 Pic
~~ My Storage Left 4.4 GB -*- So I Dont know Y
My camera app shows 6869 and I have a 4Gb memory card, where also TomTom maps are installed.
Maybe it can only show a 4-digit number and you can still store 10631 pictures

I'm having the same problem.Anybody knows how to solve it?
Is it possible for me to set the default save location for the camera to the internal memory instead of the external SD card?
I have tried the settings in camera and can't seem to find anything about it.
Thanks a million,
Niall
My Note 3 LTE has Towelrooted stock rom, with 24Gb free internal memory and 15Gb free on the SD card.
When I take a picture it will show the message " processing" and a moving ( don't know the English word for that), however it doesn't happen always
My pictures get saved to the SD card.
What can be the reason for this since I have plenty of free storage and memory?
Do you have Smart Stabilisation enabled in camera settings? That's usually the cause.

Yes I have, will disable it and try it out. Thanks for the heads up.
Hi guys,
since I've the western model with only 32 Gb of internal memory, I use a 128 Gb Samsung Evo Plus class U3 microsd (90/100 MB/s write/read speed, very good!).
So I've set both Camera app and HD audio recording app to save by default new files on the microsd, and it's ok.
But, if I take a screenshot, it doesn't matter if holding for two second the finger print button + volume down or using the quick icon, the new screenshot always are stored on the internal storage, in two different folders depending on the method used (screenshot and capture).
There's no option to set the external microsd, and alsa if I move or copy those two folders and delete from internal storage, new screenshot always are stored in the internal memory.
I make a chat with LG support to notify this as a "bug". Hope lot pf you will make a communication to LG to see if they can solve in a new update.
Is there anyone that knows a trick or a third party app that solve the problem, also if there's no root smartphone'
Thanks a lot
