I was curious if anyone knew if the segmented battery meter in the above link was available or would work for the droid?
Or perhaps someone is willing to port it if it is not available?

Does anyone can challenge himself and make a nice looking battery with % mod, like the one here ? There are also the instructions to do it, unfortunately my Android and Linux knowledge is quite limited at this moment...

I have a friend of mine that has an EVO and a new Kernel just rolled out for their phone. Battery life is unbelievable 2 days unplugged and 60% battery life still. Proof can be found here: h**p://184.72.239.143/mu/b8fdf248-0e64-0208.jpg
The info for the Kernel is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=876590
Any way this can be modified for Epic. Maybe some of the info found here can assist with future development.

I very much doubt it, but I am in no way any kind of developer, dont even play one on tv.
Anyway, this isnt anything special... I have posted similar results using the DK17 rom with no battery saver programs or killing any applications. You can see my post HERE with screenshots. 4 days, 12 hours at 5% left. Might even get better when the source code drops for 2.2 and they start creating custom kernels.
Hi Guys,
Does anyone have a clue how the new N7 messures the battery level?
I mean, does it use the old ways through the battery stats file or like the Galaxy S3 with a chip measuring the voltage?
This would be very useful the know while flashing.
Cheers
Does anyone know, or has anyone tried running multiple Razr batteries in series? Had my HD apart last night to do some work on the usb port and in unhooking the battery I thought about how cool would be to add another one.
Posted from my Outlaw(unlocked) XT926, Verizon can suck it.
I'm sorry but I don't see the point in that..
Now if you could put a Maxx battery into it that'd be interesting (don't know if that's possible or not)

Add another battery...More battery life

Running more then one battery in parallel internally would increased battery life but would require extra balancing and protection circuitry. Failure to design and implement these things would likely lead in an imbalanced charge and risk of a fire or explosion of one of the cells. Your much better off going with a larger single battery to avoid the balancing issue, and using the already present protection. (Like a Maxx battery - that if you search this forum - you will see has already been done)
hmm
has anyone done a maxx battery upgrade?
Yes - use the search to find it.
