How exactly do I use a Droid X without service. I bought one to test apps I'm developing with and it won't let me do anything until I activate it.

When you get to the activation screen with the little Android guy, just touch all four corners of the screen (1 at a time) starting with the top left and moving clockwise and it will bypass the activation and take you straight to the homescreen.

here is a screen shot of my attempt to draw straight lines across the screen in Vspainter. I tried to clean the screen under the plastic of my 8125 (wizard) with a credit card and it seemed to do the same thing. I hard reseted, same result. Does any body know how to fix this?

Looking at the picture above I need the 3 on top left and one on bottom left.
I made some out of foil, it gave me like extra 1.5 bars of wifi but I know it would be better if I had the original

top left you can see the 3 lines of the facebook newsfeed/profile icon. and top right you can see the chat icon/button

Does anyone know me to tell the meaning of this spot in the upper left corner? The interesting thing is, it just pops up when that app disappears and into.
Another interesting thing is that until a little time for a Zenfone 5 and it would appear that same spot, in the same place and format, what will that be?
