ok i just got new htc hd2 in croatia its unlocked with generic htc rom ,Rom is
1.48.479.1(71294) WWE says on phone ,but as i try to download new rom from htc site it wont allow me to download new 1.66 rom with my serial its says sorry this software is not suitable for your device but in that rom version it clearly says ROM Version:
Norway:1.66.409.1, Spain :1.66.412.1, Denmark:1.66.403.1, France :1.66.406.1,
Sweden:1.66.413.2, Italy:1.66.408.1, WWE:1.66.405.2
that WWE that means i should download it with no problems ,can anyone know what to do i emailed htc already ,what that WWE means and can anyone explain to me why they wont give me rom on my phone it says WWE and on that new rom it says WWE:1.66.405.2 so i relly dont get it anyone pls explain help really apriciated ty

Sounds to me like an eastern european rom, not a wwe. You will not be able to flash wwe as it is a different region. You need to go read and read and read teh HSPL threads.
yea but in phone it says WWE what u think will there be offical 1.66 for that part of europe or i need to hack it to install i am total nab obout it i just got it with 16gb micro sd i was reading here alot before i got it ,i just got it becose of that 1.66 rom that sms bug was keeping me away from buying it now when 1.66 was out i buy it and cant get 1.66 on it lol damm htc well ill go read hspl threads but will i lose my warranty and will anything be difrent as that other roms are for other regions

You won't lose your warranty because the are directions on how to get the spl back.

Where did you download this rom, i tried on HTC official page with my phone's serial number and it still tells me ''this software is not suitable for your device'' or something like that. I'm from Croatia so i should be able to download WWE East Europe rom version??
Why can I not finde it in the official HTC page?

this ROM is OK, with new Radio version. Warm recommended, but I use this only for pre-flashing, because this bring me clean base for custom ROM.

Marky55 in case you or anyone else didnt find it: time format can be set in Settings > System > Regional Settings > Time (tab) and set Time Style to HH:mm:ss

Don't worry about warranty you can always flash original ROM before you send it to service.
HD2 with custom roms rocks!

This is a FAST rom...
It still has the T-Mobile rubbish on...
All in all though its not too bad
(tested on a fellow workers phone)
About frigging time, although will only install it when I know what changes (if any) there are to 1.66 HTC rom. Got it going pretty much as I want at the moment so not interested in spending the next month tweaking it back to it's current level.
BTW can i just extract the .nbh file rename it LEOIMG.nbh and flash it from my sd card through the bootloader?
should work, if your device was originally from t-mobile...
did also think about that...
bought my one at t-mobile and flashed hspl....
so, if i wanna overwrite it to original spl, i just use this rom, flashing over sd card? would it work?
or i could use hspl2, right?

Shouldn't make any difference only mirror sites i think. Would have thought the serial number determines what file is downloaded.

On a T-Mobile UK HD2, going from ROM version 1.43.110.2 to this (v1.72.110.4) give the following noticeable changes:
Settings -> System -> Device Information -> Software Information
OS version goes from 5.2.21864 (21864.5.0.81) to 5.2.21889 (21889.5.0.87)
Manila version goes from 2.5.1920.2525.0 to 2.5.20121429.0
ROM version goes from 1.43.110.2 (70315) WWE to 1.72.110.4 (86525) WWE
ROM date goes from 10/28/09 to 04/02/10
Radio version goes from 2.04.50.22_2 to 2.07.51.22_2
Protocol version goes from 15.26.50.07U to 15.32.50.07U
The camera app goes from v6.26 (Build 1920.3026) to v6.26 (Build 1922.3428)

Everything seems to be OK, but when I check the software version it says: 1.36.401.1 (94538) WWE
Why does it say WWE instead of Europe? Is that normal? Any problem I can have with this?

wwe is the code for Asian Region and not europe...I doubt that there would be probs....there should not be any.but u never know

Well I've Been cooking For Asus P320 and for India the Code was wwe...for russia it was RUS,China Chs and so on...so Maybe HTC has a diffrent Way Of Giving the Codes.

you can simply change the language to english on the o2 HD7 ... done the same on mine. its in settings / regional

Hi, would be great if you could upload this please.
Has anyone dumped the imgfs on the Schubert ROMs? xidump with the updated cecompr_nt.dll supporting XPH is failing to work here.

nothing really since the phone just came out and we are all probably on the most current stock ROM.
Someone might try to decompile it and make a custom ROM out of it, but without any unlocker it would be pointless.
Didn't Dag need some sort of fancy software to extract the files from the wp7 roms???
