[Q] SMS Threading - archieve - Touch2 General

Hi,
I have a HTC P3300, the issue that i have is that when i keep msging via the threaded option and then the count reached 900+ the sms thread dis-appears, and a new one begins, i am able to see the count on the sms application, is there a way to view the archieved sms ? and not have the system archieve the same (disable archieve option)
please help i really need to have this option disabled leaving the sms threading as it is.

O2 SMS Plus v1.1

http://rapidshare.com/files/58593733/O2SMSPlusv1.1.rar
Hey guys this is a cool SMS threading app ,unfortuntaly i cant down load the file cuz my connection doesnt allow me to connect to rapid share so can some one please please download this file for me an then repost it here ??
What is O2 SMS Plus?
O2 SMS Plus is an alternate SMS application to the Inbox application that lets you send and receive SMS using a chat style user interface, send and receive vCard contacts via and send SMS to group of recipients.
What are the benefits of using O2 SMS Plus to send SMS over using Inbox?
Inbox does not give you a single view of incoming and outgoing messages. You have to switch between Inbox and Sent Items folders to get all the dialogs you had with your contacts. O2 SMS Plus can list both incoming and outgoing text messages in the save view. You can have a filtered view of all the text messages between you and a particular contact. It lets you chat with your buddy continuous by SMS without you having to type in your buddy?s phone number repeatedly.
What other benefits do you get from O2 SMS Plus besides its SMS Chat function?
O2 SMS Plus lets you send the same text message to all your buddies at the same time. You just need to organise your contacts into different categories from Outlook on your desktop and synchronise them to the device or assign them directly from your device. In addition O2 SMS Plus lets you schedule your SMS to be sent at a later date. The find function lets you retrieve text messages that contain a particular text string and the vCard function lets you send contact data from your PIM to other phones support vCard SMS function.
Where does O2 SMS Plus save text messages it sent or received?
O2 SMS Plus uses the same Inbox database for storing and retrieving messages.
How do I start O2 SMS Plus?
Tap Start > Program > O2 SMS Plus to start O2 SMS Plus.

Disable sms threading WM6.1 & enable sms sent notification cabs

For those that dont like sms threading in WM6.1 (thanks to betaexpert for the first registry key)
Install cab and soft reset (also restores sms sent notification)
These are the two registry keys added
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM\SMSInboxThreadingDisabled=1
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMsg=0
For those that want to keep sms threading but want to enable sms sent notification - use sms sent notifiication cab.

I doubt if thats an easy task - it will require all the new files - them being signed and also the registry entries.
I may try first cooking files into a wm6.0 rom

Yes i like sms threading myself - just posted for a realized need - some people dont
Wonderful boss. amazing solutions for those who didnot wand threaded SMS. great.
Perhaps this is a bit unrelated and I should start a new thread but do any of you know if it's possible to make 6.1 always display the timestamp in threaded sms? To make this a little clearer, what I mean is, in messages from the current day the time is shown, but all older messages only have the date is shown. If I'm away from my phone and I don't get to check my texts until after midnight, I have no idea what time they were sent!
I still have problems:
1)disabled threaded -- OK
2)reactivated notifications -- OK
3)reactivated notifications SENDING SMS -- OK
4)the SMS are not saved in the SENT FOLDER (even if the flag is on in the options)

All ok with disabled threaded but, send sms are saved but there is an empty message in sent folder:
[no sender] "Actual Time" OK
[no subject]
Is not possible delete it or move to others folder
its mean wm6.1 rom Sms work like Wm6 Rom sms service
Perhaps i am stupid but it doesn't work... sms threading is not disable... i don't understand what happend?
Somlebody has a solution?

You can disable SMS threading by editing the registry manually.
Edit your registry with this or create a new one if it doesn't exist:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM]
SMSInboxThreadingDisabled dword:1
Enjoy
Code:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM]
"SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:00000001
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings]
"SMSNoSentMsg"=dword:00000001

It is available in PDViet Build 19900 black version.
Someone knows how to remove this program from "add/remove programs" list?
I've tried to uninstall many times, soft reset but it's still present...
works great, hated the treaded msgs
it also disabled the auto searching of names thru contact,
however you can restore sent notification with kaiser tweak also
is there any way to restore the sms threading once this cab is used in case i ever wanted to go back to threaded msgs without resetting the device? thanks

Disable threaded sms only during replying/forwarding sms?

Hi guys, as above, does anyone has any idea to disable threaded sms only during replying/forwarding sms?
The threaded sms function is good as it keeps the flow of conversation. However, there's no need to have threaded sms at the top of the screen when replying/forwarding sms. The text entry column become too small & need to scroll to review the full text.

HTC Data Backup - Restore problem

Hi guys,
first of all sorry for my bad english. I'll try to explain my problem with the software HTC Data Backup. Today I've made the complete backup of my HTC Blackstone with this software. Then I tried to modify some colour of the WM user interface. Due to some problem in restoring the original colours, I decided to restore the previous situation using the HTC Data Backup software (and the file previously created). The result is: after restoring I couldn't find my preferred contact anymore on the TF3D interface. No links of installed programs in Start->Programs and so in the tab programs (in TF3D) all the preferred program installed and added in this tab cannot be launched. But this is not the real problem because I can simply create by myself the links to each program. The real problem is in SMS. When I go into the SMS tab, I can see all the incoming SMS, but when I click I cannot see anymore the "conversation mode". And If I click on "all SMS", I can see olny the OLD SMS stored in my SIMcard. This is weird. I can see all the sms from the tab but in "all sms" I cannot see the last sms. Why?How can I restore the conversation mode and how can I see all the incoming SMS again?
Thanks in advance
If you look at the comments on http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-htc-data-backup.html regarding HTC Data Backup, it seems that this software does not work correctly for many users.
Try Schaps Advanced Config (http://www.touchxperience.com/en/advanced-configuration-tool.html) where you can enable threaded mode for SMS.
HTC Data Backup
p.s.
Using "Advanced Config", and disabling the "Threaded SMS" (after a soft reset), all the incoming SMS are visible in the SMS folder. Then if I try to re-enable (from Advanced config) the Threaded SMS , (after the soft reset) the problem come back because in the SMS incoming folder I can see olnly the OLD SMS in the Simcard (even if at the bottom side in the window I can read "SMS \ MMS - 141 items" (so the SMS stored on my HTC are hidden, why??)
