You could always try the "semi-nuclear" option of removing your GMail/Google account and then re-adding it.

I've flashed a few kernels including KK and JAC's OC/UV. Never had this problem. I ODIN'd back to stock and restored a previous backup and I still can't send outgoing email through Gmail. It will either say "message sent" and then disappear or get stuck in "Sending Message...", I have a couple like that. Anybody ever run intot this and is there a way to get back to normal?
BTW, I can receive emails just fine.
Thanks

Reboot. And try again.
Thanks. I have tried all of the simple stuff. Like I said, I totally reset it.
I have this issue also, but I stopped using gmail, and just use the email app for my server email
Cleared gmail data and cache. Working now.

Installed DL30, and everything is working great. The only issue is that I am not able to send Emails from my exchange account, I can receive emails okay. When I try to send an email it gets stuck in the Outgoing.
Any suggestions will be helpful.
I have DL30 installed and I am able to send and receive thru my exchange account without problems.

How did you get yours to work.
Thought everything was all well on my Atrix but everytime I reply to my yahoo email or try to send a new one it says message not sent.
I receive emails no problem.
The odd thing is I'm pretty sure I initially send an e-mail to test it when I first got it and it worked.
I've read there's seems to be a common problem. Any idea what to do/change?
I've tried to go thru all the e-mail settings and what not, nothing seems to be doing anything? Is there an app that's getting in the way.
Ughh, this is frustrating.
I use Gmail for most things and it works fine. I have issues receiving and sending with Yahoo with the Yahoo app. I believe its a common problem.

gmail works fine but I made a yahoomail my default account in blurrrr.
I'm not using an yahoo app, just the stock e-mail thing.
How come when you use gmail it does not say "sent from my Motorola Atrix" ?
If I turn off wifi, it works.
Seems like a known problem searching around the net.

Need to add the sig.
Looks like yahoo mail and ymail was screwing up and not allowing logging in to check mail. anyone else have this issue?
Only issue I have had is that it does not always tell me I have an email. I have a few times been kicked out of it and then when I logged in on my PC had a message saying that my account may have been compromised. After changing the password I was able to get back in on my phone. After all that the app never seems to update and tell me I have an email. When it does I find I have about 10 of them. This is with no settings changed.
I can't log into mobile website but u can log into phone app email

If you are talking about the actual ymail app,I had nothing but trouble with it.I configured the stock HTC mail app for my yahoo account and it works flawlessly.

I was wondering if anyone else is having any problems setting up their MSN, live, or hotmail accounts using the stock email app? It seemed to be working fine earlier but now after I performed a factory wipe/reset I can't sign in at all. After entering my email and password I get "can't connect to server". Never had a problem before.
