What is "right"? I'm on the rooted/de-odexed 3.26, so I would imagine not much has been changed, but I'm not sure about that.
Check it girls. O ya it is Kiesha. Im unrooted so i can't get from /cache but ya it's here. Playin with it now. The build.prop has to be exact stock 3.26.651.6...Will Post update when im able to

You aren't thinking of accepting this update, are you?
Did anyone learn anything from when 2.2 was released? Do NOT flash OTA updates! Unless you want to be the guinea pig as to find out if it breaks your root or not, I HIGHLY suggest you wait for a dev to publish a rooted version of the rom.
All you guys with Unrevoked Forever.......this will be a good time to see if that "s-off" thing really works. I, personally, would not flash this or any OTA anything.
I can see it now: The boards full of people crying because they flashed this to get the FPS uncapped (which I've had for months) and the GPS reboot (whatever that is) and they broke their root.......tear, tear, tear......lol

I'm not worried about bricking my Eris, as I don't even use it anymore. So I'll attempt to flash this as soon as it's done downloading from that crappy, slow host.

if you want to test put it on your sd card in your phone then place the card back in your phone and boot it up by holding power and call, pretty easy from there
no you hold volume down and power when booting after putting the zip in the root of your sd card
hboot will show up white with green text
let it run, tell it to install, follow the steps done.

Needs to be in the root directory of your sdcard, i.e. /sdcard/ROMNAME.zip

seems to be real...... just cannot get it to flash

I was told by a source that this is what HTC will be sending out as froyo. you must have 2.1 installed and if you install this YOU WILL LOSE ROOT
I have not tested this yet. and i dont have an nexus one. im about to port to the evo to see what exactly this bad boy has.
the source reports many fixes that are not included with the leaks. once again i cant verify this. to developers, i recommend tearing this apart and loading it as an update.zip without the recovery. load the patches the same way.
it does seem to have some differences from what i have seen. If you brick/lose root/blow up your house, please dont blame me
report findings back here or do w/e you want with it. ill update with what i find on the evo.

You don't have to flash it.........also I think they just uploaded it in the development section under 4.22 ROM or Google it their are plenty of other sources available............so to each its own enjoy either way happy flashing
xda forums already has the deodexed and odexed rom
is this the sprint ota that came out today? zipped up and rooted for us? or is it an older leaked version? i dont want the leaked version gps and other things just dont work on them.

Actually some have encountered problems with broken WiFi.....netflix.....and something else I believe but its derived from the OTA itself not necessarily the download provided in the link check the development section under 4.22 ROM to see if there have been any corrections
nice, seems like everything works. tried 4g, tried wifi, tried taking video. still see superuser in my apps. over 350mb of memory free(that's awesome) now time to remove all the stupid sprint stuff.
don't see netflix in the market though. sure it will com pretty soon. only see que managers for netflix

I've never done anything to my phone lol and i was wondering if anyone here can walk me through from beggining to end on how to get my phone the MIUI rom.
My phone is a never rooted before mytouch 4g from t-mobile. ive nver done any of this, and i would just like your help. ive tried google and stuff, there are guides, but there are all peace by peace. i just dont want to mess up and "brick" my phone. So anyone out there can walk me through i would greatly appritiate it =D, and if there is a shortcut to this like one click auto install?( idk if that actually excists XD)

follow link above and Downgrade, sucks that you updated, but don't worry you can downgrade to the awesome 2.2.1!
It's quite difficult to brick the phone if you follow the steps exactly. the only time you may brick the phone is when it is during the process of flashing the stock 2.2.1 rom, and you pull the battery or something. So make sure you're battery is charged! and secure.

ah, when you try that command, it has to be tried through adb, and the phone has to be in a custom recovery, like clockworkmod or 4EXT. since you don't have a custom recovery currently installed, it won't work. so try the other command, through terminal emulator.
