Hi all,
My I-mate jam have been eating dust for a while, but i booted it up again and it will not connect to any bluetooth devices.
Tried all ROMS of cotulla, but still the same result.
At one time i succeeded to get connection to my bluetooth satellite reciever, but at that time the USB cable have been connected for a few hours so (backup)batterypower was high.
Could the backupbattery be a problem as it is not in a good condition and needs to be replaced?
thnx in advance
Are you switch beem on?
thnx for your replay.
The beam is for infrared is it not?
So, no i have not switched it on.

hi,
i want to build an bluetooth accesspoint at home, where i can connect with my mda-II to explorer the internet (wlan needs to much battery).
What kind of bluetooth usb device i need in my pc?
Can these work?
What kind of settings is needed on the mda?
(sry. i´m a bluetooth-newbie)
regards
AleX
The problem is that the XDA/MDA bluetooth stack doesn't support PAN (personal area networking). When the stack is sorted out then you only need a cheap class 2 bluetooth USB dongle and drivers to make this work.

I Have a Sandisk SD WiFi card, but as this kills the battery at home i use my laptop with built in WiFi and Bluetooth, I put my Laptop in the room where i am sitting, and then activesync over bluetooth, and surf the net thatway, the range is not bad, much better than the BT headset (jabraBT200) And of corse this way there is nothing sticking out the top ready to be snaped off, and the battery lasts much longer,
I will of keep the SD WiFi Card as there are also many times when i need it, But for home use as soon as they sort the PAN profile i will get a BT acess point

hi,
thanks for your answers!!!
@sweeney
Are you know if it possible to update the mda-II with the needed PAN support? If it is a microsoft-update or comes it from HTC or from anyone else?
@applecom
looks that we have the same configuration, i´m also use the sandisk wlan card but it takes to much battery power! But your idea with the activesync i like very well ... how you have to setup activesync to use bluetooth?
Are you useing the cheap "class 2 bluetooth USB dongle" sweeney spoke about or anything else?
regards

No official support yet, but there is some sign of promise on this board that the WIDCOMM stack can be tweaked to work on the MDA/XDA and is known provide PAN, serial etc.
Hi guys,

Hi everyone
My Wizard has a strange problem with bluetooth: I pair the devices (in my case, the GPS and the headset), and they work fine. I leave the car, turn off both devices to save battery.
When i'm back in the car, i turn on both the devices and none work with the wizard. I have to pair them again.
Anyone with this problem, or anyone who knows the solution?
Thanks
PS- My wizard has the CR86 1.2 Rom (but before this rom, this problem ocurred).
Hi!
I've installed a great ROM from babak00000, with Windows mobile 6.5, but i'm now having a bluetooth issue:
- i've got a GPS devide that i use. I've installed the device and user until yesterday without problems. But today I had a problem: my GPS software in Prophet did not recognize the gps device.
- i looked at bluetooth devices under WM, and saw that it was not connected. I used the option to connect, but it gives me an error: device could not bo connected because there was a problem in connection or PIN is incorrectlike that. Well, Pin is correct, so I think it is a problem with something else...
- I have a bluetooth headset that works without any problem. I do not use both bluettoth devices at same time
- I've tried to disconnect GPS device, and reconnect again from the beginning, but the problem keeps appearing.
-I've got configured GPS device with port COM6, and the GPS software as also COM6. Without issues till today.
- I've tried to disconnect and reconnect bluetooth in pda, but with no success...
Does anyone know something about this? Can somebody help me?
Recent edit: I've made a full backup and a hard reset, and the problem keeps annoying.....
Hi.
I was using this Rom but I had a lot of problems with my bt device and wifi and finally.... I have wm6.1 again.... Is the most stable and fast wm version... No problems with my bt GPS device and no problems with wifi at office and home...
Hi all,
I'm having a problem with my Wizard that can't connect with my Deluo
Bluetooth GPS.
I already deleted and started again the connection considering the passphrase.
The GPS appears @ Smartphone's device list, but they keep connected just for a few secondes and then they lost the connection.
Even with the navigation software, the connection doesn't work.
What's happening ?
I'm using Hornet Manilla 4.5 Rom.
Tks in advance.

Cássio
Hello everybody,
I forgot one info regarding my Smartphone and the bluetooth connection:
I have a Jabra hearphone and it works very well bluetooth connected.
So it means that Wizard bluetooth connection works and I believe that it indicates that GPS bluetooth connection doesn't works properly.
Is it possible a bluetooth protocol problem ?
Is there any other source to be contacted in order to solve my problem ?
I live in Brazil and I could'nt fins Deluo web site. Does it still exist in US ?
Tks in advance.
