Ok I am trying to send myself a picture, yesterday it took about 10 minutes if not more but i thought maybe that was just because i was sending the full size, i have now resized it to where its about 100kbs yet i have been waiting about 5 min and it still shows it as sending...anyone know what the problem may be? its on 3g and i have no connection issues...really annoying.
nm now its working fine...very strange

Whenever I receive a new text, it shows the time an hour behind the actual time. It's only for received texts however, not for sent. This has been going on before the clocks were set back an hour so I don't think it has anything to do with that. Anyone know what could be causing it?

Think yourself lucky - when I receive texts from Louisianna they are usually 20 years behind the times
Hi,
On my Hero the facebook picture albums will only load over wifi and not 3g.
I've checked settings... does yours do this?
Mine works over 3G and edge. It takes a bit longer to download all the picture information like a 15-30 seconds. but part from that its all good
it's fine on mine, do you have problems with anything else on 3g?
weird, mines the other way round :-$
Yes I've also been having similar problems -- I loaded all the Facebook pics, some from 3G, some over wifi, then for some reason, completely randomly (i turned of wifi maybe?) all the ones loaded on wifi disappeared and I had to manually edit the contacts and select their picture as "Facebook picture" and I've reloaded them via wifi, for now, they've stuck... but we'll have to see if they disappear again... Either way, an annoying bug as I had to go through every contact reapplying their picture.
My wife's new hero didn't work the first day she got it for a lot of things over 3G. This was all fixed in the morning. I'm guessing it took a while for them to sort out the 3G authorisation! Mine worked perfectly straight away, but it was an upgrade, so they didn't have to provision the SIM.
Yesterday, I got 3 hours of display time, 26 hours of uptime, and 2hrs of talk time before the phone hit 22%.
It was awesome!
Today I've used it even less and maybe had the display on for an hour, no talk time, and a couple of texts. Down to 20% in 5 hours.
Recalibration didn't work :/
Anyone else having this issue?
I'm using the OTA update, rooted via the preinstall method.
My battery went absolutely bonkers after the OTA GB update. See attachment.
I did a factory reset -- still didn't help.
I then took a look at logcat and saw Motoblur was making a request every ~2 seconds to sync my Live e-mail account. Even when my phone was idle! It appears this has fixed my problem but I haven't given it a thorough test yet.
Are you syncing with any Live accounts?

Nope, I actually set it to sync them only over wifi. I was out in the city all day, so I had my wifi off.
I need to check out logcat for sure.
I actually just froze a bunch of blur services a few minutes ago, I'm hoping that will solve my issue.
Hello all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime G-530T through T-Mobile. For some reason lately a lot of times that I send pictures I get a notification of "network error" I reset the phone and give it a minute the picture will got through. Usually when I am sending pictures I am at home connected to my wifi and in addition to the wifi my phone usually has 4/5 bars. I clean out my cache regularly. I have 1 1/2 GB of space left on my phone with and a 30GB SD card that contains my pictures, games etc. It's not rooted. Any ideas? Thanks
I'm having trouble with pictures being blurry when sending via MMS. I have no idea why or what could be causing the issue and it's driving me nuts. I did notice the picture was being resized to 480x640 but I have not changed anything at all (not on purpose anyway) and I've checked everywhere on the phone I can think of but I cannot find anything that could be causing the issue. I did receive two OTA's within the past couple of weeks but I really doubt those are the cause of this issue.
Anyone have ideas as to what it could be? I've attached some pictures to hopefully better help explain what I mean.
It has to do with your carrier.
The images get re-sized when sending via mms by the carriers...
I just had this issue a couple months back and it drove me crazy until I figured it out. I can't remember what finally worked for sure. Maybe go into the messaging app settings and clear cache and data
