Hi guys,
I bought a Desire a week ago. I love Android but I dont like HTC Sense at all. Specially HTC's apps. I have something what I dont want to have, as a Peep, Weather or mainly Dialer, Contacts and Calendar.
I was looking for default apps on clear Android and I didnt find them. Cos HTC's apps are not as fast as the rest of system. I like the idea of simplicity which Android represents.
So, is there some way hot to get Nexus One ROM into Desire? Is that possible, or it's question of time only? Or may you give me a hint where I can find the default apps?
Thanks a lot for answer and sorry for my english.

Hi!
I don't know of a cab, but it is not a very good twitter client - because the database is never cleaned out, and gets bigger and bigger!
So you are probably better off using one of the many other twitter clients, although I haven't used enough to recommend which to use... if you do try some, please share your experiences
0o i see but i like the interface lolz
okay i think i'll dump the idea of finding back the integrated HTC twitter ..... im currently thinking of using moTweets instead ... i havent bought it but i'll be buying it soon =D
I have been really excited over the new desire froyo. I had no idea that it supported direct iTunes sync. Is there any way this can be built into an eris rom? I would really love this since I'm totally sick of DoubleTwist and all the 3rd party sync options. Thanks.
Look dude devs are trying to port it over but it is hard since it is a different screen size than the Eris and they have to change all of the file sizes to fit the Eris which is hard because there is a hell of a lot of files.
I would love to have this Rom also but it is going to be a bit before we get it.

I haven't looked much into it but it should just be 1 or 2 apks that need to be ported for iTunes sync. If somebody PM's me the original rom, I can check it out.
I really don't care if I have to wait. I just wanted to know if it was possible. Yay. I'm looking forward to the day when I can do this
Out could be possible if outs built into a rom and strictly use apps2sd. But the you could lose some performance.

I was looking into this yesterday because I thought that it would show up under itunes like the ipod does (or how the palm pre used to) but then I found out that it only worked under HTC Sync so I lost interest....
Hi Guys
Sorry for the Noobie question on this one. I have had to buy a 2nd Hand Desire to tide me over before I get my DHD. I am migrating from iPhone so new to the Android OS.
What happens to the Aps that I buy on the Desire, can I download them again on the DHD or do I have to buy them again. My Google account etc will not change.
Thanks in advance.
Kaid
To my understanding the programs will remain available to download for you when you move to another Android phone. The license is linked to your google account.

The apps stay with your Google account, so when you log in on your new phone you will have access to all your purchased apps.

Ok, sorry for that. Maybe for the future.
Hopefully, I love the new sense, but until they at least get the camera working, I can't use it as my daily build.
Appreciate the post though.

Hey appelflap! I can't access the original thread mentioned above so i ask you here: I can't get my ebooks (epub) to be automatically impoted to the HTC ereader on my Desire HD (Android). I put the files to both /sdcard/Digital Editions and /sdcard/.adobe-digital-editions but they are still not displayed in the reader.
The only way to get them in is to edit the ereader.db in /data/data/com.htc.ereader/databases
Any idea?
Or can you just send me the "eBook Importer.apk" ?

I deleted the thread because the app was redundant for the DHD (as turned out later).
If you put "pub" files in the Digital Editions folder in the root of the SD Card the books should be imported automatically by the DHD e-reader.

Hi. Unfortunately .pub in Digital Editions folder does not work with the HD2 DHD port. So I guess we are back to your ebooks importer app. Hope you did not delete it. Please see what you can do and avail us the app. Thanking you in advance.
