I am new to the Android OS and really loving it!
Only thing I miss from WM is voice dialing from my BT headset with Cyberon VoiceSpeedDial.
Anybody can help me find a similar Android app?
Tried Voice Dial but it is similar to Microsoft Voice Dial, which it doen't work for me.

It works for me now that I've disabled the Xperia dialer. One way to disable the dialer is by using the Schap Advanced Config program. I wonder if I'm the first to figure this out?
Do you have no dialer at all now? Mine has been disabled but I have PhonEx installed and call announcing still doesn't work.
No, I have the original windows dialer. It's actually kind of cool to switch off and see a new dialer, since I didn't like the HTC dialer too much.

Wow, never tried it because it says needed for video calling.
But in fact I like the windows (6.5) dailer much better than the HTC one.
And video calling is still possible (the same way).

So Caller ID announcing will only work when using the standard WM dialer?

Yep, very clearly.
WhyBe - It may work with the HTC dialer since call announcement works on the HTC phones, though I haven't tried it personally.
^^^ Thanks, but I only use the stock SE ROMs, no HTC ROMs.
...and what about the X2 ?

hey man, moved you over to software section instead of rom dev section.
So are you talking about voice dialing via your headset? i use voice command from microsoft.

Don't know if it works with bluetooth or not but might be worth a try.

are you using fresh's rom? he removed txt to speech i believe.

I've downloaded from the Market "Cyberon Voice Commander" and works very good on the Tab and a long pressing of the Bluetooth headset button starts automatically.
Thanks but this is a feature that should be built into froyo and it did work with my shipped firmware .
So I did some research and found that it only works with shipped firmware XXJI5 out of the box.
It does not work with any other European firmware I tried.
I also found that XXJI5 is by far the smoothest firmware of the tab, and I tries them all.
I would recommended everyone to give it a try.
