Navigation Software Audio over BT

How do you guys listen to your voice navigation software? I have the supertooth II BT handsfree set, and make and receive my phone calls through it. Now when I go into my nav software, the audio goes throught the loudspeaker, or I have to use the cable earphones (supplied with phone).
Using the earphones is a bit stupid, then I might as well not have the handsfree in the car. I would like to get all audio & sound to go to my Supertooth.
There was a site I found where a guy posted software that sends all audio to a bluetooth headset. Now this was a Samsung i730 post, now I wonder if it is not written for the i730, as I tried it out, and it switches my Supertooth on, but still nou audio can be heard.
Will something like a BT audio transmitter that is normally used to trasmit audio from a MP3 player to a hifi work?

Can I listen to my EVO music through my car's speakers?

I have an interesting challenge. I have an Audi A4 convertible 2009 with bluetooth that enables me to talk on the phone with my EVO. I am not sure it is the "special" kind of bluetooth that will let me listen to music on my radio sent via the bluetooth to the car's speakers. If it is possible, I dont' know how to do it.
Also..is there anyway that I can broadcast via my EVO to an empty FM station? Has anyone ever heard of doing that? I just want to listen to music and no, there is NO aux jack in the car.

lol, its not a 'special' thing
bluetooth supports different things.... and they are called profiles
for a detailed list of profiles (and to learn something click on this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth_profile#List_of_profiles )
what you are looking for is, for your device to support the a2dp profile aka advanced audio distribution profile.
inorder for you to stream to an 'empty' fm station, you still NEED an a2dp device... it'll just be coupled with an FM transmitter

if i was you, i would check if the option is available on my cd player first...

i wouldnt recommend bluetooth, atleast not if you have a stock evo, its just too low quality to enjoy, better off using a audio cable, an fm transmitter probably wont sound that much better then bluetooth, if you have caynanogen or another rom a lot of them do fix the bluetooth issue

This is what I do. Turn on my EVO's bluetooth and let it pair with my car. Once the pairing symbol appears on my cars audio display, select Bluetooth as an audio source on my car's stereo. I have FM1, FM2, AM, CD, Aux and Bluetooth. Now start Music on the Evo and turn up the volume at least half way on the Evo. Now I control the volume with my car's steering wheel volume control.
I think the part you are missing it to select Bluetooth as the audio source on your car stereo.

I plug mine into car stereo using headphone jack to amp input for slacker radio listening.
Its also a great battery life saver when EVO volume is at lowest level let car stereo amp do the work

is it possible on the vibrant to stream music to my jawbone bt earpiece ? i used to do it on my touch pro 2. but with android im not sure ? help me out guys please

Yes, it's possible (though it may depend on what model Jawbone you have). Make sure your Jawbone is updated with H2DP and your phone should be able to recognize that the headset can be headphones as well. Check out the Jawbone website for more info.

If his jawbone is like my old one ( now use a Plantronics Pro), it didn't support Stereo (H2DP)
One of things I plan on looking into the Android source for is why someone hasn't come out with a "Mixer" app to route Media out the BT Headset profile. I'm sure there's a technical reason.
I've never seen a phone send music out to a BT headset... I don't understand why that is, it does if you use a wired headphone.
Things like podcasts should be fine in a mono headset. Even music would be better than nothing.

A2DP?
The new jawbone hero has an update that supports A2DP. Music sounds terrible through it tho, I even streamed NPR's car talk through it and it was scratchy. For some reason too, the phone prefers streaming over BT rather than through the audio jack when it's plugged in. Turned off the audio profile for the headset.

[Q] Bluetooth phone mono --> A2DP

Hey guys, thanks in advance. I've done some searching and haven't been able to find anything that addresses a small oversight.
So I have an A2DP audio receiver connected to the auxiliary input in my car. It works great for music, Pandora, and what not, but none of the mono-channel phone audio gets played through my car speakers. I realize it's due to the different profiles, that A2DP was designed for music and the hands-free profiles were designed for phone calls. However, I've been able to find Music --> Mono software that allows me to play music through mono-channel non-A2DP headsets.
Is there anything out there that can help me divert the mono phone audio stream through to A2DP?

[Q] Bluetooth headphones without A2DP

Hi, I just bought a couple of headphones for my flashed HTC HD2.
The problem is that it does not play music. After googling it is probably due to the fact that the headset does not support A2DP. (which is stereo playback)
Now my question is if there is any fix to play music anyway, without the A2DP feature in the headset)
I mean, I can hear calls etc. in the headphones.

Unfortunatly A2DP is the only way to stream music from your phone to a bluetooth headset. I Google'd a bit and maybe it's good to check the Automatic Bluetooth Toggle Pro app, because it is possible of connecting to a2dp. I think (not sure) A2DP is standard available on the HD2 because it's an older technology.
