Of course bootloader=hard reset

U must have Active sync installed and a Windows XP System.
On Vista or Windows7 you must change the USB-Driver.
Search here in the Forum .There is a Tutorial for the Blueangel you can take.

Do you have fixed.nb1 to flash from the sd card?

Can MDA Vario be flashed from SD-Card?

Hello,
I have flashed my MDA Vario with a WM6 rom dutch witch worked fine. After i changed my pagepool to 6 MB and soft rebooted my MDA, it stared, but without phone functionalty. every program i try to start it gives me the message that it has no memmory to start the program.
No activesync connection (or any other connection) can be established. I have found some articles on flashing xda pda's from sd card. But in these articles they talk about .NBH files. The only file i can find in the update util is an .NBF file. Can anyone help me solving this issue?
TNX in advance

Can you get into bootloader mode (tricolor RGB bands)? ("Get your phone in bootloader mode by doing this: Phone powered off, press Camera button + Power On, will enter into bootloader mode (RGB screen").
Once in bootloader mode you can reflash even though activesync says not connected - just look for little USB in corner of screen.
Tnx cushcalc for your reply.
I have tryed it just a minute ago. I can enter the boot loader but the flashing fails at starting with the message "This update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please get newer update utility". I have used the same flash tool as the rom image witch is now on the MDA.
Sounds more like CID locked after flashing the last ROM was flashed....cant u even flash any other wm6 ROM?
You should flash the original T. Mobile ROM from bootloader it should work. After you have the original running you can then re-flash WM6 using shelltool if your phone is CID locked. Try it and lets see how it goes.
You people are the greatest. I have tryed to flash my MDA Vario with the latest rom from t-mobile and now i have a fully functional mda again. BIG TNX for helping!!!

Use the sd card method. My phone will not connect to active sync via USB, so i flash with the sd card. IMHO this method is safer and faster. Since you are stuck in bootloader, transfer files with a card reader from your pc, put the card back in the phone then soft reset. All should be good. Maybe once you re-flash you will get your active sync back.

HTC Prophet won't load Windows :(

Hello everyone!
I got a HTC Prophet with english windows mobile. I've wanted to install a german ROM, and used this:
http://www.handy-faq.de/forum/htc_p...ophet_touch_ix_rom_deutsch_download_1005.html
I've runned a .bat file and the installation startet. But then i closed the window with the installation insinde (undeliberate). and now the prophet won't load windows. it always stops at the boot screen, where the infos are:
IPL 2.15.0001
SPL 2.20.0001
I can run the BootLoader mode and connect the Prophet to my PC. on the left bottom it says "USB" but when I run the installation again it says "no device connected".
i got windows 7 ultimate in 32bit version.
I hope you can help me, 'cause it's the phone from my dad and i won't get him angry
Greetings from Germany!

Hi this is a easy problem to fix dont worry but first u need to read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547 you need to hardspl your device first then install the NVID rom in the link read the recovery solutions carefully oh and about active synce try this
Go in to Active Synce settings and uncheck allow usb connections that will help to detect your device when flashing the NVID rom after that just use any flashing tool to install the rom on your device problem solved just read the link if u dont understand as this happened to all of us before so we understand how u must feel
Hope this helps
Heya and thanks for your answer!
I did read the terms of use in the post u linked, but I got always the same problem:
No device is found. on the BootLoaderScreen it says "USB" and Windows 7 detected the Mobile Phone.
But the HardSPL didn't found the phone
I try to take the battery out and put it in after one minute, but it didn't work

Did you try flashing the NVID - AKU 2.* WM5 rom for recovering your Prophet on your device first then hardSPL your device? you need to install the rom first then hardspl it after that flash any other rom here http://www.4shared.com/file/57952591/3955ed98/NVID_RUU.html?dirPwdVerified=2948f2e flash this to your device and remember to uncheck allow USB Connections in active sync and just it should work if u still need more help al be happy to help you out and since ur using windows 7 use this tool to flash any rom to your device ok http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=534707 since am using both vista and xp and they work well so remember flash the NVID rom first then hardspl and try flashing back the rom you wanted to use on your device ok

Sorry but first you need to recover your device by first installing the NVID rom and good u have windows xp did you did what i said about active sync uncheck allow usb connects then flash the NIV rom then use lazytool thats what i use on my windows xp to flash the rom u wana use what happened when u try to install the NVID rom? first you must manualy go too the bootloader menu in other to flash it you know reset the device and hold both the commanager and camura button until you enter the bootloader menu then flash the NVID rom if it works then do a hardspl then flash any roms using lazytool it should work when u said the phone rebooted but windows did not run what did you see on the screen? after the reboot? also the NVID rom is windows mobile 5 so you device should boot up windows but al look into this for you ok
PS this is important you should know that your device is G3 or G4 and from the looks of you spl it looks like a G4 device this is very important beouse if u flashed with G3 you can damage ur device but dont worry the guys here have managed to fix this so if ur flashing any rom use the G4 option ok but please look over these instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547 as they helped me when i had the same problem

ARTEMIS Flash problem

Hi
I am trying to flash my T-Mobile MDA Compact III (HTC Artemis 110) phone to windows mobile 6.5 using USPL and ROMUpdateutility. I am using steps from following link to flash the device:
"elakiri.com/forum/showthread.php?t=211822
I am getting problem after CID unlocking. When I start ROMUpdateUtility.exe my it displays error that device is not being detected. I am using WinXp (facing same prob on Win7).
can anyone help me????
did u mark the "allow usb connection" tab in activesync settings?
try to install the latest activesync
disable firewall
good luck with it
oh and elakiri well never heard of that. why dont u re-do all steps with the instructions given on these forums
then u know 100 % sure that it will go well
on that forum link u posted i only see deewhatara artemis and love rom and i read some stuff about cid-unlocking but i couldnt find USPL tools on that site for it { not that i checked for long }
just do the whole process of unlocking again with USPL or USPL cmon. posted on artemis forums here
[edit] ok u did USPL, i misread your first post.
...
try uninstalling activesync.
reset pc.
install activesync.
reset pc.
take memory card out.
try a hard reset on the device.
get device into bootloader OR
copy the file ''bootloader'' from the RUU to the device and then run ''bootloader'' on the device, the device will then go into bootloader.
run the RUU on your pc.
hope you get it working...

Htc Charmer Crashed

Hi!
I´ve got an bricked charmer, who dont want to go into the bootloader anymore (but the hardreset works). But what surprises me, is that if I connect the charmer with my pc, a device named Pocket Pc USB Sync appears.
is there any possibility to flash the charmer again?
LOL solved the problem xD
i just put in an empty sd card, and it instantly entered the bootloader mode ^^
