Vibrate to Beat of mp3

is the a way to make the vibration vibrate to the beat of the mp3 or mid like on nokias
Kinky!!!!!!!!!!
anyone get a method
unaware....
I've never seen such a program, but I imagine it would be quite CPU intensive if it existed...
You'd need real time music analysis software constantly running to be able to do it accurately.

No mate, he is not lookin' for any music player kindda application. He wants his phone to vibrate according to the ringtone, as it happens with the .mid ringtones in Nokia. I really doubt such possibility in Windows Mobile, b'cuz we hardly use .mid ringtones in these phones.

I'm aware. He wants software that will vibrate to the beat of music played through the device when it's ringing. There would have to be some form of music analysis software present to analyze the music being played in order for the device to understand when and when not to vibrate.
The only easier solution would be software that simply vibrates whenever the phone rings by playing the sounds that the device "hears" through it's own microphone. Of course that wouldn't work very well at all, as it would end up including any other noise being made that the device hears at the time while the software is running.
The Nokias either have some sort of music analysis software running in the background (which I doubt, because I had an old Nokia that did this and I promise you it wasn't powerful enough to run such software) or the vibrations are hard-coded into the songs for which that particular feature works.
I'd be willing to bet the Nokias won't vibrate to the tone of the music being played unless it's music that came with the phone or unless it's music you got directly from them or an authorized provider. Otherwise you'd have to find software to code vibrations into the music itself... which still probably won't work if your phone doesn't support such an odd feature.
I have a 8525 with WM6 and I can't use .mid files for ringtones.
Is there some secret way of making them show up?
when i was using a SPV-200 (voyager smartphone/WM 2003) i used to change the ring tone or notification script via the registry.. i suit the timing of the vibration on my selected wav file..
i remember the registry path is.. HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds or HKCU\ControlPanel\SoundCategories
i think i used the script afpv2w2v1w1v2r.. i think it means, backlight on, then play the notification wav file, vibrate for 2 seconds, wait for two seconds, vibrate for 1 second, wait 1 second then vibrate for 2 second, then repeat.. well that was what i remember how my voyager reacted when i get a call..
the PPC registry still has it, and the path for the ring tone script is in, HKCU\ControlPanel\Sound\Ringtone0\script
here are the codes for the script.. haven't checked though if all still work on WM5/WM6..
a = infinite loopback anchor
fn = backlight ON
vn = vibrate ON
p = play sound
wn = wait or delay (must have 'a' or 't' and 'r' to work)
r = repeat (must have 'a' or 't' to work)
tn = amount of time the tone will loop (must have ‘r’ to work)
cn = increase volume on next play (must have 't' and 'r' to work, n value must be 300 or higher to see effect)

Media Player Remote Control

Hi there,
does anyone know which program catches the events of clicking once or long for redial at a bluetooth headset or the headset delivered with the HTC Backstone?
What I'd like to achieve is a program that catches these events and redirects them if necessary. On the other hand the program should be able to catch new events.
For example a double-click. This event should then be routed to the media player and switch to the next track.
Is there already a solution available for this. If not I'll develop one - but the first thing to start with is to get the events.
Thx in Advance
Steve
I don't know if it helps, but I have a Sonyericsson K800i, and it has inbuild bluetooth remote control, I think it's because of the AVRCP profile tha the HD has, that can control the HD. I was able to control my HD, simulating the d-pad for example.
AE Button Plus ?
I tried to use this software but it's not able to capture the button press of my Headset.
Any other ideas?

Control the HD with the standard HTC Headset?

Here ist my Question:
Is it possible to control a MP3 Player with the standard Headset? For exmaple:
One tap on the little Button (on the micro): next song
Two taps: previous song
Holding button: Stop/start
What do you mean? perhaps with a little softwaretool or a good customizable MP3 player...
I had the same question. Can the standard headset be used for anythign other than hang up/ answer / redial? what about accessing voice command?

long press the button....but i never use this function.
No, cannot. You are much better off with a bluetooth remote/headset like this one, Jabra BT3030 at around 38€:

Added bonus for me: I have two mobiles, can connect both and take calls from both, while music holds.
Does anyone know if the W100 wired remote works on the HD?
Cheers

And will it work with windows mediaplayer and tcpmp, or does it only work with the player in tf3d?
I was very enthousiastic to get the RC 100 when I bought my HD at the store and I asked for the RC 100 but unfortunately the merchant tried it and it doesnt work, incompatible, this is really upseting that HTC could not THINK about working on a remote control for the HD, that would be really very useful to control music/calls without taking it out of your pocket...cause it is so huge ! anyway....we wait and see...for any new suggestion.

Solution to Bluetooth Play/Pause Random Re-Mapping

I'm a big beyondpod user on the DX, and I almost always listen on bluetooth headphones. I have consistently had problems with beyondpod retaining control of the bluetooth play/pause button. After the screen is off the play pause button will often launch the default music player. At which point I have to fish out the phone, launch beyondpod and click the bluetooth play/pause button to re-enable beyondpod's control.
I know there are a couple of apps in the market that can set a default app for the bluetooth play/pause button, but I haven't found one that supports beyondpod.
The other day I decided to disable the default music player (changed .apk to .bak) and it has completely solved my issue. Beyondpod has not lost control of bluetooth yet! And now that google music is available I don't have to miss the default music app. I have been searching for a solution to this off and on for a year, and hadn’t until now found a good solution.

[Q] Bluetooth Headset Remote not Working

First of all I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read/respond to my post. I have an unrooted Note 3.
My issue is when I use my jaybird bluebuds x or monster isport freedom bluetooth headsets with my Note 3 the next track buttons do not work. Well.. let me rephrase that. When I hit the next track button is launches the samsung music app and skips that track.
So the button is being registered but it's not working for the active player. Like if I'm listening to pandora and hit next track then the samsung music app launches and skips that track instead.
Is there any way to force (using tasker or something without rooting) the phone/headset to recognize the current active music player instead of the default samsung player?
Thanks in advance for your help!!
It's more likely the app doesn't recognize headset controls.
I've never had stock music player pop up when using the controls with N7player. But it has a menu for headset controls...

Disable the Samsung player in Settings and try? I usually always keep the default apps all disabled and use PowerAMP for my music, never fails me when I use my BlueBuds X.

How do I disable the samsung player in settings? Are you referring to settings for bluebuds bluetooth, cuz I didn't know you could specify specific aps.
I prefer to stream my music so I don't have to organize my music. That's why I use pandora/slacker and not PowerAMP. Thanks though.

Your phone settings. Manage Apps, All, find your music player, click on it, Disable.
