cannot connect to network in roaming - HD2 General

Hi,
I am in roaming, and I found that it is very hard for my HD2 to find
network... It is very strange because I got another mobile and he
find network without any problems, but for HD2 is very hard to do this...
he is searching for few minutes and after this - nothing :-(
after few resets he found network (I got full signal)...
but after I reset again, he lost and can't find again...
and if found always on 2G, (I have turned on automatic band)
but another phone have full 3g
Does anybody have similar situation?

Tele2/Comviq

Im having problem with my network connection.
Everytime it has to change from the sweden 3G network to my Tele2 GSM network it looses connection. This roaming issue is very annoying.
Most of the times it will register to network again but it takes several minutes.
Sometimes I have to softreset.
Another problem: I seem to have full 3G-signal but when I start PIE and a connection is started the signal goes down... Why on earth is that?
Anyone else noticed this?
recall when 3 first started with 3g here
they had the same problem the problem was
not with the phones but with the way that
the they handled the roaming from 3g to 2g
people had phone conversations ended by the
changing from 3g to 2g and such
think they fixed it now but it was not a phone issue

I have an htc diamond, I successfully conect to 3G for free but it can't surf internet but only works with skype. Any suggestion or help?

HD has stopped connecting to my mobile network. Any suggestions?

Today my HD has stopped connecting to my network provider and just spends all its time searching for a signal. The phone radio is turned on, but it doesn't seem to find anything. It isn't a problem with the network provider (O2) as my other handset on that network picks up a signal just fine.
The sim card from my other phone doesn't seem to work in my HD either
Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

PS a hard reset hasn't helped either

3G connection issues

I'm having random 3G connection issues on my Samsung Focus.
At radndom times 3G connection is lost and the only way to get it working is to turn off and on the phone.
I tried putting the phone into airplane mode, turn off/on data, turn 3G off/on, nothing works, only a reboot works.
Today I checked my email on my phone and it says;
Last updated 4 hours ago
We're having a problem connection to exchange.xxx.com. Try again later.
Last tried 2 seconds ago
Error code: 80072FA8
This error shows up on all 3 emails I have setup.
IE doesn't work, Zune, any app requiring 3G connection.
And this happens at random times, at least once a day.
The phone has the lastest updates and is jailbroken.
One other thing to mention is, the phone is now having the 3G connection issue but i have it theathering to my computer and the internet connection is working while theathered, cause i'm posting this email.
I have no idea what's happening or how to fix it.

Mine is unlocked AT&T Focus, when I'm using indosat (IM3) carrier, I'm having this issue. I downloaded Network Profile from Samsung Zone. After reboot the device, the network profile still pick AT&T, and I can't change it to my carrier.
Then I tried change my carrier to 3, after reboot the phone, the network profile changed to 3 INA. And after that I haven't got that issue till now.
Not sure what caused this. But when I looked at the registry there's a bunch of duplicated APN settings.
I had a similar issue, Focus AT&T on EU network.
Chevron unlocked and enabled the 3G toggle.
From time to time, I couldn't download from Marketplace or use the 3G connection. That was before I updated to NoDo. I haven't experienced this again since I updated.
To fix that, I used to toggle 3G off and on again after 15-30 seconds.
Sometimes, even that didn't work and I had to leave 3G off. Any lower data connection was working while 3G wasn't.
Speaking of data connection, not everyone is aware that after updating to NoDo, HSUPA is disabled on AT&T.
I'm having the same issue.
I´m using an unlocked at&t samsung focus at my local carrier.
I have this issue a few times a day, and the only way to restore my internet connection is rebooting.
I have noticed that this happens when my phone changes to Edge and goes back to 3G again. The issue doesn't seems to happen every time, but sometimes I lost connection.
Did you managed to solve this?

I was having the same issue, being unable to connect to 3G. Just go the first page after Googling: set att apn. AT&T users should put in the APN, username and password. Hope it helps! It worked for me. =D

[Q] Mobile Data not working

Hello all,
I have resorted to posting here as i have trawled the web for a solution without any luck. Here is my problem hope you can help.
I have a nexus 4 and am currently in Spain. After traveling abroad and not using data roaming i came back to Spain to no mobile data connection. The usual tricks of restarting, toggling mobile data airplane mode didn't work. It was quite frustrating. I went as far as to cancel my contract and go for a prepaid card - Lebara as they have a decent data tariff - but the problem persisted. I have configured the APN, gone through all the restart procedures, even factory reset the phone twice and nothing helped.
Mobile data is switched on. I have the APN set up as needed. However, the H E H+ never appear next to the bars on top no matter what i do. I have ordered another SIM card from a different operator in desperation but it might not be here for another week.
I really hope it is not the phone but now I really don't know. I am taking suggestions...

PS one thing I just noticed is that if I download apps from my browser the device is listed as vodafone nexus 4 although I have never been on vodafone. This might have some relevance

Go to the dialer, press*#*#4636#*#* this brings you into new menu. go to the phone information to see to what network you are connected. if you scroll down you can force the phone to use 3g (WCDMA only) see if this work. this seting will change when the phone goes into reboot.
also if you happen to have the "3g bug" connecting to a wlan might help as stated by some users.
For me starting the hot spot function does the trick.

Thanks for the advice endet. I have done this but to no avail. When I switch to WCDMA only in the field GPRS service it says connecting for about a minute and then disconnected. After restart it is directly disconnected. I have toggled between GSM only and WCDMA only and restarted the radio. Played with the other settings in this screen and nothing. Only once did I get brief flash of the H on top but trying to replicate the steps didn't lead to anything.
Starting tethering didn't help either...
Could be something with my IMEI? Or CellInfoListRate?

[Q] Problem/Issue. Mobile network (3G) data connection drops. Why?

I have a problem with my Galaxy s6 Edge Plus (G928M - Brazil)
When browsing the web with only mobile data turned on, wether using edge/3g/lte, the mobile loses connection .
I still have connection visible in the status bar, but wepages stop recieving data and it just stays hanging, with the loading bar at the same place. It can be fine for 3-4 minutes and then start to act up again.
One sollution is to toggle data connection on/off, then it will work again, but only for a couple of minutes. Even this metode sometimes doesnt solve the problem. My phone is unrooted. I have tried factory reset. Tried to root with arter97 (the problem persists) .I have tried using the different settings in mobile data; just gsm, just wcdma and wcdma/gsm- automatic etc. The signal strenght is good.
I used my simcard in another phone and don't face the problem. I used another simCard in my phone and the problem remais. So, The problem is in the phone, unfortunatelly.
Do anyone have the same problem, know of a cause for this, or have possible a sollution? Please share
