For all who flashed ALL the new WM6.5.5 roms already and asking himself
Why do I refresh the rom posts and forum every 20 seconds just to make sure the link is not there....
why cant I just wait a little bit until the rom will be 100% o.k before I flash?

Can someone write a proper tutorial on how to cook roms? I believe that if we were all proficient at cooking roms, it would only be a matter of time before the perfect rom was published. Im using Asergs rom...nice but can be better. Until then Ill keep trying.
the method to cook roms is the same as the hermes and wizard which there are already tutorials present. for further advice leave a post in this thread and im sure someone can help you with your problems

ps: i do a little rom cooking on the side when I have free time and the perfect rom won't happen over night....**** to even make a stable rom could take you months of hard work as well as trial and error. it takes alot of work...gained new respect for rom cookers who constantly update like Tom for example who releases updates for more than one phone as well * don't know how you do it buddy*
ok guys i did alot of searching tried alot of things but still i have not been able to install a touchflo rom i just got the phone and i have been trying this for the last couple of days and i have no where i downloaded couple of the touchflo version here but still nothing so if someone could put a link to one that works and tell me how to install it i would really appreciate it thanks
You could try to install a rom that already has touchflo cooked in... Starbase64 roms are good for that...
Heres one of his latest ones (28-06-08). Its UC compliant - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=394417
He also has lite roms too....
Cheers....
Just remember to install Hard SPL 1st.... It's not a guarantee to not brick your phone BUT it makes it a hell of a lot easier, and possible, to fix..... Read up on the upgrading forum. Its the post at the top...
Uh.....This guy said the T-Mobile Wing......Which last time I checked is not the Hermes....OP should go to the "Herald ROM Development" section if he wants to flash his Wing......

hey ppl.
i have a 4350.. instaleed wm 6.0 on it from here -->
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=358225
and i wanto installed a new ROM with WM 6.1..
but i dont know what should i install.. which ROM should i install that i want it stable, fast and good looking... which one do u offer me??
this is asked again and again and ends with
xyz: i use this one
gdshg: i use that one....
read the rom dev forum, look what´s in the Romsm, download it or maybe them all and play around until your happy with your choice...
All cooks try hard to get stable good looking Results and it´s unfair to say that one is the best.
So be fair and read the Threads, flash, and report what you liked.
EDIT: STOP STARTING THREAD AFTER THREAD!!!

Why do i know this?
I used the Search and you have to start this too!
Hi all,
Can someone recommend me the most stable rom which means no lagging or not hanging? or there is none?
I came from HTC Magic so I am familiar with the versions, flashing but in this thread I am totally new although I have flashed xtreme rom
Xtreme rom is quite fast compare to the shipped rom.(but it is still hang time to time) My HD2 is from singapore, telco is starhub.
This is the first time I am on winmo phone and now quite upset about the shipped os.
but but i am lucky to be here to try faster and more stable roms.
So pls someone suggest me which rom should I go for it and all the roms are compatible with my phone? How and where to check the compatible?
This is the way I installed rom, pls correct if i'm wrong.
flash hspl
flash radio
do task 29
flash the rom
reset
do some other fixes if necessary
Thanks a lot.
You guys rock.
ps. Admin, pls delete it if I shouldn't start a new thread. Thanks.
Sorry for quick answer
go to HD2 ROM Development
click view to ascending so u can see most view and click post to see max post from there you can find which rom is using by most people.
if you are more lazy then come here i would flash your phone for you!!!
Hi Thihaz,
Best thing to do, as mentioned above, is to look through the first few posts of each rom and see which ones feel like they will deliver what you are looking for then try them out.
Please read ALL of the tutorial threads, hints and tips, and especially the rom chefs advice BEFORE jumping in.
Good luck with it. Closing this as we don't do "best rom" type threads but I wanted to help you out.
If you need more help on this matter feel free to pm me.
Cheers
WB
PS: Never start a thread by telling people you are feeling lazy. You will get zero help that way.

Here is the thread you want to read.
Fair Warning: A moderator is most likely gonna get on here after me and tell you to:
Read the posts at the top of each thread labeled "Sticky", since they contain the same information I just gave you.
When you have a question, it doesn't matter if you think it's "newbie" or "old-school", either way try to do a search for the terms first before you post a question.
Almost every chef has a "Tutorial" or "How to install" link somewhere in the first three posts of their release threads. Most of those probably point to the same place I pointed to
If you have problems with a specific ROM, try replying to that ROM's thread. You are more likely to get help without lectures there
And welcome to xda
lol... sorry I did read the post but most of the wording is totally alien for me ... Alot of the acronyms I dont know ... Once again sorry ...
But I can do all the regular stuff like doing a update on software etc, etc... but re-flashing my HD2 is totally something new to me ...
