Can't run XDAunlock.exe

Hello everyone,
I read all the posts about unlocking and I instored the latest rom 3.17.03 and Downloaded the precious XDAunlock.exe.
Now when I click on the icon, the following message appears:
XDAunlock.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
Any ideas about what the problem could be. Thank you.

XDAunlock.exe is meant to run on the device, and not on your desktop.

After a lot of tries, I finaly got the file in the xda and IT WORKED!!

I get the same message. However, this message is not on the desktop but on the XDA2. "Not a valid win32 appliction"
Any ideas? Any help will be greatly appreciated.,

Not 100% sure if it solves your problem, but for XDA 2 there is another tool (xda2unlock) You should take this one....

Ignore me.. I was using Firefox and the link did not come up.
I ideally don't want to hard reset. I am trying to use that new tool?

lost my usb connection

hello i lost my usb connection from my tilt 8925 it was working fine then it stoped cant sync my phone to my pc try reloading active sync and still is dead my sync dont read the phone or my pc.please help me fix this i have tried researching and my next step was asking all of yous for help.if all and all i have to call htc or at&t ut with having all the up grades to my phone woundering if they could help me.so please reply back with some help on how to fix this thanks..

Does the pc attempt to connect? Do you receive any error messages? Please give more information.

no there is no connection at all. i hook up my phone using the usb cable and i reinstalled my sync software and nothing happens i get a message that usb device is not working please check and try again im woundering if when i extracted a file i might have extracted a program that i needed to make this work im not sure what i could have done....please reply back if you could help would really be nice.....thank you hope you have a answer for me............

I use to get a error msg while i run some programs after installation. Plz help me where i can find these missing files or give any solution to rectify it
The error msg is :" File or assembly name 'Microsoft.WindowsMobile.Status,Version=1.0.0.0,
Culture=neutral,PublicKeyToken=31BF3856Ad364E35', or one of its dependencies,was not found"
I m using O2 XDA Mini Pocket PC Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition

i have recently got the charmer but i am unable to install any cab or other file on the phone. it shows an error " .... is not a valid windows CE setup file'' so what am i missing. i will be thankful for ur help.

You are using the wrong cab files guy.

Did you install it as administrator?

Good info in there. Might help. It helped me when I first flashed.

Funny I was trying to install on Windows 7 computer and was getting this error message. Tried it on my other computer with xp and got it installed. Everything works great thanks for the help.

I had the same problem, the only solution was to take another usb port

actually.....for my computer that comes out and then another pop up comes out and say daf.exe has some problems and once that comes out, and i re run daf.exe, it works so maybe u need that pop up to pop out for it to work

I was having this same problem, I just ran it as Administrator, and it worked.
On Vista, right click, run as administrator.

you should download The android ROM again!!???
because you're download was not complete, so I advice you for download it with a good Download manger.
