blackberry font for wm 6.5? - Palm Treo Pro

can anyone make a cab (or is there one already) for installing the bb font on wm6.5? (i tihink its called bbalpha sans)

i found a link to a font that is "supposedly" the blackberry font you mentioned.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dejavu/files/dejavu/dejavu-fonts-ttf-2.30.zip
if you download that zip and then extract the files into the /windows/fonts/ folder on your device, it will have the font to be able to be used in various apps
p.s. id love to help with a cab, but i have no clue how to make them. good luck

Removing ttf file

Actually I installed a chinese system with builtin font and input in my X01HT, and then I installed new font to replace the old font.(new font is a standalone cab file)
So after I reset my device, I am supposed I can remove the old font file , which is ttf from window\
However in fact, the system doesn't allow me to do that (I used resco explorer)
It says some process locked this font file.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix it problem since I have no memory space to keep 2 fonts files in my system.
Million Thanks!

Looking for some HTC Graphics

Hate to make a new topic, but google is not being nice about this.
I am looking for the Windows mobile 6.1 green wallpaper AND the turqoise like background that is in the default htc theme.
Actually, if anyone has that theme that would be great. I know one of the rom cookers had something like it, but it was not the exact same one that came with my cruise. (Different wallpaper and also the wallpaper for the messaging application had all these annoying lines in it..)
I guess I can just flash back and get it, but I've set up my polaris now and didnt watn to flash back just for taht, so hoping someone was smarter then i and saved the graphics already!
Thanks
I have it. But how do i rip the theme off my phone ? If you are willing to guide me then i don't mind uploading it.

look for the .tsk files in the windows directory.
Make sure you use totalcommander or resco file explorer and copy those files from windows directory. YOu can use the search tools within them as well.
Also, under options in resco, there might be some settings that hide system, hidden, or rom files. you'll want to uncheck those for now so you can see them.
Also in the windows folder there should be a welcomhead.96.png or welcomehead.96.jpg, that is the windows 6.boot up screen.
You shoudl be able to copy these via your polaris into a different folder then with your pc put them on your computer.
Thanks!!!
HereĀ“s a link to various WM6.1 themes... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=364541
....and I attach the nb for the standard flash screen.

Can anyone provide me the code to install the font using c++/vc++?

1. Copy the TTF file to windows\fonts file
2. Reboot the system.
But i couldn't do this.
Pls give me some solution.

Font Changing

Read up on it, but am wondering if there is an automatic way (not MANUALLY EDITING) of changing fonts with a cab.
You can make a cab file of the fonts that you edited, but there is no fully automated way of doing what you are asking. Seems for now, you have to rename the ttf files according to the how-to guide then you can make a cab for install of the new font. Of course, I may be wrong. Would be nice if there were an all in one solution.

Adding or replacing fonts in WM 6.5.x

I'm trying to replace with Tahoma and Tahoma Bold fonts in the ROM I use with versions that support the full set of unicode characters.
However, I can't find a way to overwrite the existing fonts as it won't let me delete them or rename them. I've also tried creating a cab, but it says I don't have permission to install it.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Many thanks
Same question, is there a cab that can do that? I'm trying to change my font to Helvetica is it possible
Have you seen this thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=635891
However Those cabs don't seem to change my softkey or top right digital clock fonts.
I have tried to install the default fonts from that thread, but it said I did not have permission.
Perhaps I'll try one of the other fonts and see if that works.
