I've got the screen on while charging option ticked...so I was expecting it to stay on in full brightness the whole time and not dim the screen at all. Is there an option to disable the dim?
menu /sound & display /brightness, check mark there for automatic is all I know of as how to set default or use the power widget.

There's also a Power Manager app you can download that lets you setup different profiles. So you could set it to max brightness while charging, then have it dim while its on battery and go even lower if your battery is below 20%. Of course you have to disable the Auto Dim in order for this app to work.
I use the Setting Profiles app for this

I have done these steps:
How to create a Low Battery Warning event in your Sound & Notifications Settings
This is the only way is to turn off the warning if you want. To do that you can go and change your registry key in this way:
Look for:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A87
7D663-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}
And create a String Key
Default="Low Battery Warning"
Then do a soft reset. Doing this change you will have a new notification option in your Settings\Sound and notifications called Low Battery Warning.
Turn off whatever you want in this issue
Nothing change. It shows up & makes me crazy. Any ways to permanently disable it ? I always know for sure how much remaining power of my battery.
Thank you.
I want to keep my WiFi of during sleep to save battery and I can't seem to make it turn off automatically like it's suppose to. I have set it out never be on during sleep and to not allow scanning while WiFi is off but it still seems to scan. I've also tried to disable WiFi calling(t-mobile). I know I can use 3rd party apps but I was hoping to use the existing options. Any idea as to what keeps waking it up?

Press on the battery chart showing in picture no. 2 and see which app is using your battery most. It may be one of your apps triggering the WiFi.

Have you noticed the very low contrast that makes hard to play low light games, there are very few levels of black
Check lagom website.
Do you know any way to fix this without any app running in background?

Check this image with your Axon 7. I was able to fix it with screen balance, but the paid version.
Also to test and check you black levels go here:
http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/black.php
There is like 10% to 15% need of increased contrast just before it turns the black in grey.
I also search build prop but I have found nothing.
It is a shame to run always a background program just to fix this. The sound is great! Don't know what were they thinking when choose this dark setting for the screen.
I read that ambient display should go off after 30 secs and should turn on again when approaching to the phone (SOLI sensor).
Mine is always on, do you have any hint, please?

I know where are the settings, but my ambient display stays on even if it's not supposed to.
I have set the Dark mode in OP8Pro to turn on automatically according to custom time range (6PM to 6AM), Unfortunately it does not do the work it suppose to. I only able to turn it on manually.
Is this a firmware issue?
I have mine set from sunset to sunrise. Dark mode enabled, but when I restarted my device, it went back to light mode.
Not sure why and also unsure if it's related to the issue you're having but I thought I'd mention it. Didn't matter to me too much as I was just testing the scheduling. I normally use substratum themes so I don't typically have automated light/dark mode.
Wow! Weird after setting it to manual it started changing correctly.
Quiet different logic behind that Manual setting. Automatic setting doesn't actually grey out when Manual setting turned on.
