Gizmo5/GV/Sipdroid calls were working fine yesterday over both wifi and 3g but today for some reason whenever I make an outbound call through my N1 it dials but I hear nothing and sipdroid hangs up after 22 seconds =(
Inbound calls are fine and when I initiate calls to phone #'s through Google Voice on my computer it comes through on my N1 where I can pick up fine and I can hear it. Complete opposite though when making outbound calls - no sound/hangup at 22 seconds.
Has anyone else experienced this as well? I searched through previous threads and on regular google searches but found nothing.

I recall seeing a post from here about the same issue. I was trying to look for it but no luck. So here goes nothing. I remember reading about forwarding calls from the number that the HTC Shift uses and the device will always reject the calls before it even gets forwarded. Just wondering if this still stands true. And if not, forwarding calls doesn't mean forwarding text too, correct?
Once again, sorry if this is a repost, but i tried.
There is still no solution 'til now for this issue. Shift will reject incoming calls by first ring tone. After this (in German T-Mobile network) I receive a SMS on the Shift with the data of the incoming call.

Okay guys I have just found something interesting and would like to see what your opinions or if my idea makes sense.
With the new google calling on Gmail.com, I went into my gvoice setting and I saw that I can now forward my calls to gmail.com instead of to my cell phone. I have only checked gmail as the number to forward my calls to, so when I make a call it actually goes through gmail and not my cell phone. thus, its free?
The problem with this is that I can now make free calls out with my gv number but will not be able to receive calls on my cell if someone calls my gv number since its not being forwarded to my cell number.
I hope I am explaining myself clear enough
Pretty sure you just told all incoming calls to go to GMail, and that's it. You didn't change any setting for outgoing calls, you are still using your plan minutes. Because you are still calling an actual phone number.
Just because you change a setting in the Voice options doesn't mean your phone suddenly knows to do voip without any voip program to do it. Your phone is still using normal voice calls.
I think you're right now that I think about it more....my bad...
mod, please delete thread.
Wait, don't quit just yet. What provider are you with? If you have a plan that gives you phone numbers you can call without costing minutes, you can assign your GV number to that. You can then make and receive calls from your GV number without using minutes. I did this for about 6 months with Myfaves until I realized I just didn't make enough phone calls for it to be worth it.
Is anyone else having problems with googlevoice? All 3 T-mobile lines in my family has a googlevoice number and none of them are getting calls forwarded to the cellphone when we test call them. It was working just yesterday.
Following the google troubleshooting steps, I tried delete and re-add my G2 number, and now I can't even verify the phone because the verification call can't get through. I can call my cellphone just fine directly though.
Anyone else? Could people test it and try it out?
EDIT: outgoing call through GV still works, but it won't connect to another cellphone (tried tmo and sprint)
GV is working fine for me. When I call my GV number from my work phone, my mobile rings.
Hi guys!
I have been having some issues lately with my calls just not working when I am at home. Incoming and outgoing calls are completely silent. My phone still rings, but I am always met with silence on the other end. Oddly, I can make and receive calls at work just fine. It just seems to be something about the area around where I live.
My texts and data work just fine. I haven't yet been able to identify what the issue is, I tried 2G only mode, to no avail. When I am home, I normally use Groove IP for outgoing calls to save on minutes, but still need incoming calls to work.
I have a 16GB Nexus 4 running the latest PA 3.10 kept updated through GooManager. I have refrained from trying a wipe, since I do not know that it will solve my issue.
Any ideas?
Hey guys
When I tried to make an outgoing call today, people couldn't hear me. I can hear them but they can't hear me. The incoming calls work fine but not the outgoing calls. I also tried with free wifi calling software and it was not working too.
Finally, I found the fix for the problem. There is a software problem with "OK Google" which mute any outgoing calls you make.
The only way to fix it is to go to your Google setting and completely TURN OFF "OK Google" service.
I like to use Ok Google sometime so is there any way to make it work together?
I am sure a lot of people have this issue too but they never realize it until they make the call.
Has it been confirmed that it's OK Google command that's causing the call issue?
The call issue has been noted and documented on the zte forum, but I wasn't aware of anyone bringing up Google Now as the culprit.
