1. Im looking for a top menu bar. ("start" bar) thats clear so my background is behind it, or a link to some bars of different bars.
2. Im also having a little trouble with themes. in the tabs, which ever one is open the icon is not in the bottom bar, the rest are there when they are not open. any ideas?
3. I don't know if its possible but if there is a another theme option in the todays settings, like Windows mobile 6.1, htc black. it changes the color of highlighted stuff.
**this is for a CDMA touch diamond. sprint**

Hi:
I have a Cingular 8125 and I am trying to get more screen real estate. I recently saw a reg edit where you could remove the taskbar icons for the battery and wireless manager, however those registries don't seem to be available on my phone. Anyone know any secrets to get this done??
Also, I am trying for an all black background and in my theme generator, the bottom and top bars are black, but when I install them to my phone, they are grey. I am using theme generator 2.0 and TKCreator, but both don't work for me.
Thanks. Dan

Remove the init_tray from your start up folder - \windows\startup\
You may have to soft reset afterwards.
there's
idcnobar
that removes the bottom bar (which indicate what the left and right softkeys are used for)
it complete removes it, but the icons dont shift down till you slide your keyboard out and back.
The Comm Manager icon is still there.
I did remove the listed shortcuts from Startup and the conn manager icon still insists on being in the tray.
I've installed a few apps and all went well until I noticed bars going across the screen when I go into texts and tasks other other similar windows. Does anyone know what this is from? Is it possible to get a virus on your PPC? I've got an HTC PPC6800/Mogul, if that helps.
Any ideas? The bars are the same color as whatever theme I've got applied, maybe that'll make some sense.
*UPDATE*
It's ONLY 'Tasks', 'Text Messages' and 'E-Mail' that's affected by the lines across the screen. They're horizontal lines running right through the text and it makes it pretty hard to read. Also, if I apply the stock skins (Windows Mobile Green & Windows Default) there are no lines at all and everything works like it should. Why are the custom themes not showing up like they should in those three windows?
LOL...i've seen that before...it's caused by the theme...i've made myself some before awhile back and i have the 6800 as well...it's because whoever made the theme that you were using made the background of the task, notes, etc...a color instead of plain white.....no worries...you can actually use themegence to open up the theme and modify it so that the task, notes, etc are white and then you wont see that problem
Hi all,
Ive tried to edit the T-Mobile WM theme to have the Full block black start bar that the HTC Black Theme has, but im getting the colour change brom black to grey on the bars. See the image attached.
My question is; Is there a way to make both the start bar and bottom bars to be pure black like the HTC theme has?
i don't know how but the answer is yes, check out Dutty's ROM, that has pure black as opposed to changing to grey at the top, maybe ask him or change your WM theme editor!
ive actually solved this using the Theme Generator for CE programme, with the "see or change specific keys for theme" section.
Just now have to do the tap and hold dots as they are set to black but show white...
heres the bars so far
Having used Manilla2d for a few weeks now I have decided I like it and would like to make the rest of my WM6 look the same. So I have a few questions.
1. Is there a tsk for the flat blue o2 xda ignito, or a way to make a flat black tsk have a blue highlight color. Or any way to make flat colored themes at all. I have used some of the the theme editors, but have not been able to get flat colors to work for the taskbar and the softkey bar. This is probably due to my own incompetence. Currently I am using UI tweaker, but I would like to minimize the number of programs I am using since M2d takes up so much space.
2. Can the opal task manager that comes with manilla2d be skinned? If so, since I have no idea how to do it, is it possible to have the background be the manilla2d blue background, with a blue highlight color?
3. I am also using the opal comm manager. The one with the white background with blue slider bars. I am being anal now, but I was wondering if you can change the text under the slider bars from ON OFF to On Off. This has been bothering me.
4. Can the full screen player have a green or blue progress bar rather than a red one?
I will include the versions I am using. Thanks for sticking with me, I am getting pretty ridiculous.
Thanks

Well i just got done watching some House. Hopefully this will be on the front page long enough for the right people to read it. I will check back tomorrow.
I've tried searching the entire forum and just this section without and success specific to TF3D. I'm looking for a fix to make the bottom slider curtain transparent in all tabs. Right now it's only transparent on the main screen (clock/weather). If there's a fix that includes the top curtain too that would be great. TIA all.
This app worked great for me.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493011
If you want the top curtain transparent use the Manila 2.1 option. The other one made the top bar white for me. Backup your current settings in the app before using it in case you mess something up you didn't want to!
Thanks. Does this fix require installation of the whole tweaking program or do you know if there's a separate cab for just the transparent slider curtain?
Basically you install the program, run it, go to the Utility tab and perform a backup. (Takes a little while) Then on the Customize tab you can apply changes to the top and/or bottom curtains. For full transparent on both, just select Bottom Curtain then highlight Full Transparent and then hit Deploy. Do the same for Top Curtain except I had to use TF3D v2.1 Full Transparent instead of the regular one. Soft reset after and it works perfectly.
