You seem to have a bad habit of putting up files willy nilly.
No screen shots.
Also no clear set of instructions, of what to do to make these things work.
So far the only thing I have been able to get working is the Diamond Slide.
The rest of this is a mess!
I'm sorry but you will need to give things like this better thought before I muck about with any futher posts.

@Greywolf_Ghost
hi
you need to have titanium as home screen then install it and follow the procedure .I put the main link in previous post u can read about it there

newbie in need of help with mda t-mobile version

i was wonder if i could get some links and some steps to what i am doing here.. reading all these post about ROM and what not and feeling left out...what programs do i have to have to do all this cool stuff. how can i backup my roiginal data so if i ever want to put it to stock i can, why i would want to do this , not sure. jus to be safe. so any help or links or direction would be helpful, thankyou
Some starting points
I found
http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=6743543#post6743543
the most useful when I got my MDA. I've been keeping my own description of what software I use at
http://www.hss.caltech.edu/~mcafee/Bin/MDA.html
which has descriptions of a lot of programs, and what I use them for.
Unless you have a specific lack of functionality, I would advise against flashing the ROM on the "if it ain't broke" principle. Notice that there are three or four people who have had serious problems that way (butmost or all bailed out by xda-dvelopers). Instead, get a backup program (spb or sprite are the two favored choices), and make a backup before you install new software, so that you can return to the previous state. (Software doesn't uninstall very well.)
If you don't flash the ROM, a hard reset will return the device to its original just out of the box state. Of course, all your data is gone in that event.
thank you for the info, i will see what i can do....

Polaris Splash

Hi All,
first: I know there was just few posts ago same thread.
BUT!
What i really want to see here(We r in Polaris section not Kaiser)
is proper tools and proper explan. how to build and flash Splashes for Polaris.
I tried to do that with info given in Kaiser branch but no luck(mostly coz i was affraid to brick my cruise)
I have to deal with noobs every day at work (i put myself in noob cat. when it concerns phones-flashing-and etc.) and the only way to help them when screeming at u saying that u r as..ole and dont want to help--- is to draw them a "PICTURE" with what they have to do.
So.
Im nOOb here and i'd love to see that PICTURE.
It'd be nice if someone who knows this stuff and does it every day, would make some PrintScreen of the whole proccess of creating and flashing splashes for Polaris.
Thanx alot to all of u who makes our(nOOb's(but willing to learn)) lives more interesting
Cheers lads
Don't know about changing the first HTC splash screen but the Windows one that loads after it really got on my nerves...so if you want to change just that one this app worked for me.
It basically unlocks the file welcomehead.96 in the Windows folder. You can then overwrite it with a picture of your choice (renamed "welcomehead.96"), saved as a .png image and resized to 240x320 (I used Paint for this).
Hope this helps a little.
cheers dude.
SubSplash Flash
Hi, here is a group of very useful tools that load any image you like into the boot loader creating your own splash
There is an interesting thing: another Splash after the first one called Subsplash (when showing radio and rom versions) that is tricky to replace. It has place at the address 0x601. So, you have to edit htcrt_devices.ini file by changing the address wherever you read 0x600 put 0x601, look for your device (or change them all in the list just in case). Only then you can produce the RUU_signed.nbh. After that, replace into ROMUpdateUtility folder and flash. Try it. Almost one day to find out how to get rid of that awfull image from Claro Argentina! Hope this helps.

[Idea] Combine .cab files

I love flashing But I hate installing all my apps again!!! And it is not a good idea to restore backups made on ROM's other than the one you have just flashed, because this will screw up your device even more than usual...
So I was thinking... is it possible to combine several .cab files into one big .cab file and install everything all in one go??? And maybe also include some reg tweaks??? And the options to install them on internal memory or on the device??? This would make my flashing life a lot easier...
Is this possible?
I believe there is a program called SASHIMI which can do that - in a sense but it doesn't 'combine' cab files... It's here on xda - Have a search for it.
hmmm, aparently mr. Sashimi di'n't make friends with the XDA moderators...
Anybody have this Sashimi for downloading somewere?
I love this idea... where can we find such apps??
I've searched through the forum and apparently the author bengalih
had been Banned
Found it... Sashimi resides here now...
http://www.winmo-experts.com/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=fb743f06678dbc7791b48338d67997e0
learning how to use right now. ....
HELP needed
Apparently Sashimi is a very useful app, especially for people who love to try out different roms. I think the author is brillant enough to be able to compile such work.
I have DL and installed sashimi into my internal storage, went through the tutorial posted on youtube and it works out well.
One question which kept bothering me ... how do i create *.reg file?
I have many program which requires username and password. I do not wish to re-enter them manually everything i flash my rom.
How do I create them and instruct sashimi to install automatically for me?

I think this questoin can be best answered on the sashimi furom from where you got the prog.
Bengalih is not going to answer it here I think
I like the ap to very much. As soon as I have some time I will get to work on it.

first time Diamond owner need help!!

i want to really pimp out my phone but as keep reading through all the threads I end up being confused. cab files, zip files, TF3D config, clocks. what and where do i start and how do i install these files. let me know what do i need to post to help me do all of these mods.
help will be greatly appreciated!!
fottenlahi the only way is to learn is read the post's cause the instructions are really simple enough I was a noob once but I read read and read and learnt how to do the basic stuff....
as whitefalcon says, you have to read, try, hard reset if needed and learn.
You will get a hold of it quite fast.
To answer quickly :
-zip files can be opened on the ppc like on a desktop
-cab files are like the install files of your desktop, copy theme to the ppc click on theme and they insatll a programme.
-TF3D config allows you to tweak the touchflo 3D (change tabs order, remove tabs...)
- clock, well change the clocks
On the what and where to start, it depends on what you want to tweak, no one can decide for you...
know how you feel - but best way to learn is to try. Having said that, let me know what it is you want to do and I will post pointers for you.
Good luck!!
Maybe it is a little difficult to fresh, however:
zip is just like the rar or 7z or zip in windows system.
cab could be describled as the exe files in Windows, so, dobule-click it and do next.
clocks and config are some kind things of make your diamond more smart and suit your using habbit, so you could learn it later.
After all, you do not need to care about those difficulties, your phone is well enough when you buy it, so take it easy, dude.
thank you guys for trying to help me out. okay i have been doing some testing and my results are... i figured out how to install themes, fonts and clocks through cab files. it was a no brainer since i have previously owned a HTC touch pretty simple. now i tried to install the TF3D config and it gives me errors. I followed instructions about checking DWORD and it was what it was and error still showed, second step though about deleting tweaks dont know were to go to delete that.(if someone can guide me through that. i have asked before but didn't get an answer.)
what i currently have on my Diamond.
1. shakass V2 (theme installed through .cab. awesome theme)
2. .net framework 3.5 (both 3.5 and 2.0 "2.0 came with my rom")
3. yota contacts (really nice but eliminates the default quick access menu)
4. registry editor
5. advance config 3.3
is there some other apps i need to get?
should i use TF3D config or Manila customizer?
thought this might help, i have a
1.09.651.5 ROM

Titanium-Hero Sense UI for typhoon

hi
this is not my work just rewrote some files
the main add"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=566731&highlight=sense+UI"
replace cab attached.
1-download main pack from above add
2-use 2 below cab instead of main cab
3-you need JMLPanex2.1 and mortscript("http://www.sto-helit.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5452&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=200")
4-first install mortscript then install JMLPanex2.1 after it install hero pack (note 2) and then restart
Well gave it a shot. No love. It makes the Mobile Op screen and freezes.
I'll try again after I reload 6.1, however I think it may be asking to much of the phone.
How much op memery is needed to have all this running?
Remember specs for Typhoon are less then others
Has only 32 MB built in.
Sorry to report.....
I have followed your instructions to the letter.....and again I have to reload my phone with Win Mobile.
( Sticks after Windows Mobile Load screen)
Do not try this unless you are comfortable in flashing your phone!!!
For folks who are flash shy, go with farzad23's Diamond Theme. Easy and good looking.
@ Greywolf_Ghost
i.m using ,dont need more ram but it is a little heavy and another point is "did u read the main add instruction???"
JMLPanex need wm6.5
why flash u'r phone u can just hard reset ,very easy at boot start
Yes as I said I did everything you listed. I even went into 6.5 and tried.
I am running 6.5 as I type this.
The poor little Typhoon just does not seem to have enough available program memory available to handle it all.
The reason for the reload is.........
by default, the last installed screen before reset comes up first. So the phone locks up before it finishes reboot. It runs out of available memory and stalls. ( I tried a number of ways to attempt to get to a default 6.1 or 6.5 main screen no luck on my end).
Thus with a reload ( less then 7 min), no added registry, wallpapers, or files to clog the boot up.
If others manage to get, good on them.......please post up on steps taken.
My feeling tho is this is more for a 64MB and above phone.
It's why I said less advanced users should go with your Diamond version as it looks just as good as this.
farzad23
I would like to give this another try, however I need you to list what files in what order have to be installed.
I have been reading your instructions over and over, and they are confusing!!!!!
Please list by order, and link the files. ( all required files, and anything that is not needed please also list as a don not install).
Please clear up so I can see if this does work on a Typhoon.
Is anyone else mixed up by the first set of instructions?
@Greywolf_Ghost

1- titanium and chang home to titanium <---- Which file? As you also have a Titanium V0.4 listed.......This is what I mean not quite clear!!
2- mortscript
3-JMLPanex2.1
4-CHeroClock v0.8.cab
5-CHeroClock-ClockImage.cab
6-HeroTitanium V0.4.cab
7-CHeroSetting-V0.7.cab

The rest seems clear enough.....just some confusion as to what the first file is.
@Greywolf_Ghost
u should install TItanium"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=588837" then restart then>start>setting>home screen>choos titanium OR titanium media
farzad23
Many Thanks on the redo of instructions. It worked.
I'd say tho I still prefer the Diamond Slide. As I like the slide bar going top to bottom, in Titanium, bar stays mid and the rest moves through it.
This does look awesome tho.
In any case Thank you for the re-writes!!!
