Flash lite deleted on the HD2!!! - HD2 General

By mistake I deleted the flash lite that comes with the HD2. Could some one helpme to get it back? thanks.

Here you go:
http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/distributableplayer.html

Thanks i downloaded it and i will try now.

This link is no longer available. I want to be able to watch flash content via the browser and not thru some expternal player.
For example, to watch Hulu, I dont want to use iplayer. I want to watch the video via the website DIRECTLY.
Is there another flash player that can allow me to do this?

Hi,
Unfortunately Skyfire can't play sounds when connected via ActiveSync.
So is there a way to retrieve flash lite?

htt p://users.telenet.be/superbomma/fl/FlashLite_DP_WM6Professional_EN.cab
htt p://users.telenet.be/superbomma/fl/Adobe Flash Lite 3.1.cab
Other possibility: Flash your ROM image.

Flash CAB's Not working?
I've installed the two CAB's on my HD2, but the player still doesn't work in either IE or Opera 9.7. Are there some other changes required to make it work? e.g. with either sky.com or tvcatchup ?

There is no way in opera 9 or ie to enable real flash suport. Sky fire or opera 10 are the only webbrowsers with flash suport.

[QUESTION] HTC Flash Player

I've flashed my 32A Magic with Fatal1ty's 1.4 Hero Rom ... and I noticed that there was HTC Flash Player installed when i go inside the Application Manager, however i don't know how to actually access it ... or does that only mean that I can access flash based sites through the browser?
Or can i open *.swf files through astro or something like ... if i can, please inform me how i can

yes. as fas as I know, you can access flash based sites through the browser with that
Did you try opening the browser and visiting a flash based website yet?
That is true. I was able to show my friends a stupid .swf using my phone. It played surprisingly smooth!

Flash not working at some sites?

Can someone tell me why some sites like ESPN (espn.go.com), don't play their flash videos on my Xoom? Flash is installed and is working fine on most sites, but there are some where it does not work at all.
I just don't understand.

Because it is not complete and beta in my opinion. Report it to Adobe so it gets fixed.
You have to change the user agent to get espn to work with flash. Type in about:debug. Then go to settings, debug, uastring and select desktop. Unfortunately this doesn't stick, so might need to do it again.

How do you get flash video streams to work?

I had an older adobe flash 11 version apk i installed and that didnt work. It only showed the blue cube symbol. Any way to make it work?
I use Dolphin Browser HD 8.5.1 and Flash 11.1.115.17 and get no problems other than full screen not working.
Another one of these...
Boat browser + latest Flash *.apk (here on xda). No problems at all, even full screen works properly.
Or Firefox + flash 11.1.115.17.

Thanks, was worried because on the sgn didnt have this issue with an older version of flash and on the nexus 7 it didnt work. Also, when I went into playstore to get the adobe flash it said was compatible with my device which sucked.
1. Flash: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html (scroll down to Flash for Android 4.0)
2. Browser:
Firefox: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...251bGwsMSwyLDEsIm9yZy5tb3ppbGxhLmZpcmVmb3giXQ..
Boat: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...r.free&feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDNd
3. ....
4. profit.

Boat doesn't work for me with .17 Flash. I get the blue cube symbol as well so I'm sticking with Firefox which plays 90% of the videos I've tried at least.
I must have something wrong in the settings for the Boat Browser is all I can think of.
When I go to the Flash Application Settings the only choices there are Peer Networking or Local Storage. Whatever the heck I'm suppose to choose outta the two there baffled me so I just left it on local storage and it doesn't let me go any further than that but at least Firefox works set that way.
Never mind. I didn't have .17 after all.
Got 11.1.115.17 for ICS from the Adobe dev site and both Boat and Firefox beta play Amazon Prime video with sound full screen now.
Guess I don't need to sell my N7 and get a Fire HD after all.
I am having the same problem with Boat and the last couple of versions of Dolphin will not let you enable Flash.
I tried Firefox and can get the video but no sound.
I am using the latest Flash apk from the Adobe dev site, do I need to use the modified apk from xda instead?
Where can I get an older version of the Dolphin apk, before they blocked Flash?

Depends on which site you want to browse which has flash. There is one browser called Metro browser in the marketplace, not free, but it has limited flash support ie. supports certain sites only. I have not used it though.

Flash works on Android 4.4 kitkat Firefox.

hi. I'm newbie here. but I found something.
Flash already works on kitkat. but only running on Dolphin JetPack. so I tried to enable on Firefox for android.
Here's my modified Flash Player apk, that makes flash works on Firefox and Dolphin JetPack.

I'm newbie so I can't link here. please copy and paste this url.
you need to uninstall other flash player on your device and install that apk. and run Firefox. that's it.
I only just tested on Nexus7 android 4.4, but it will work other devices.
It works! Thank you very very much, mate!

Rgrds,
Ged.
I have N7(2012) KitKat and Adobe Flash Player 11.1.115.81
Thank you so much
How did you do it?
best option so far, unless anyone found anything better?
Edit: works fine with firefox 27. Video controls are a bit iffy, you need to hold down the video and select full screen to enter fullscreen mode, and hit the back button on your nav menu to exit it, could be improved, but whatever - flash in firefox
In related news, are there any plugins to allow you to set a proper homepage instead of the awful start screen in the browser? I can't find any on the official site.
Hi :good:
Thanks for the mod.
Do you think it is possible to do the same for Boat Browser ?
hmm..
Thanks for your opinions!
swf files are played on firefox's Gecko engine. so that makes play swf in kitkat. and I think dolphine jetpack maybe use same engine so also can play.
and I modified other hacked flash player apk in hex editer.

Thank you very much. Can you make a patched flash player for other apps too ? Like :
-Magine TV
-Schoener Fernsehen
This are apps to watch live streams
awesome, someone get this guy a beer
I'm confused, flash worked just fine for me in Dolphin. Always has except the short period it was removed by devs.
All I did was install Dolphin from from play store, sideload a random flash.apk, set UA to desktop and ensure flash was enabled.
Amazon instant video works along with all the other sites with short clips [emoji15]

I know, right??..because, at least i have firefox working flash, because of her/him..& awesome because i've been hoofing & bussing it lately, ever since my ancient car broke down for the last time, a few months back :crying: ...but having my moto g smart phone [vs. my-helpful-and-yes-better-than-nothing-but-super-old-ass-flip-phone that's nearly dead], it has made my current "life situation [TY, Echhart Tolle]" so much easier!
