Camera Flash LEDs as flashlight - HD2 General

On my previous WM phone I could use flashlight LED as a emergency flashlight (mapping a key or just interface shortcut to a simple exe, which turned flash led on and off - very handy in some situations).
Is there a similar solution compatible with HD2 double LED flash?
Flash Light, PocketLight - anyone tried those?

Torch Light??

Is there anyway to turn on the torch / video light next to the camera on the back without loading the camera program?
I have Battery Pack Pro which has a 'Power Light' function but it just sets the main screen to white, whereas the light on the back is MUCH brighter.
The camera program is simple enough but it takes a little while to load and a simple icon would be much quicker I imagine.

Does this mean no one knows how to do it?!?

It would appear that way! Come on guys, there is someone here who knows how to do this!
So did anyone find out how to do this??
The thread below addresses that, and apparently someone did that via mortscript :

Anyway to make illumination led flash until message read?

I like the LED illumination feature, am a sucker for flashing lights but does anyone know if there is a way to make the led flash until say a message is read? I usually have my phone on silent at work and can easily miss the led flash once a message arrives.

Questions....

Hey i have two questions for hero... I have a hero130 running on beHero...
1: I have tried different roms but my led light only flashes green, I set handcent to blue but it doesnt seem to change colour... is there any fix for that?
2: Is there any mod for the htc keyboard where u can define the vibrate length ... in my use htc_ime for me lags a LOT on the default vibration setting.... or is there a way to set a custom volume for the key presses?
Thanks
1. open the phone, solder in a blue led the led is green and red, and can therefore show the colors red, green and amber/orange...
2. afaik you'd need to edit some binary xmls for that. you can set the volume in the systems volume settings. imho the lag wouldn't change if you alter the vibration length, you need to turn it off.
oh.... i feel stupid ... i thought since the magic had the caopability of glowing different colours, this would too ... but thx

[Q] Keypad LED Control

Hi there.
In Win 6.5 there was an app called "Keypad LED Control". With this app, you could have the Keypad light automatically switched on while the touchscreen is on.
Im looking for a similar App for Android (Gingerbread) but havent found anything like that in the market or the forum, anyone has an idea?
I don't know if it'll work with your rom but you can try AdjBrightness from the market. it has the opition to lock button backlight on or off.
