"Insert Sim card" message

Hi to all.
Last week I upgrade my Qtek 9000 with i-mate rom 1.30.......
The rom is really very good, vrey stable. However last night appears the message "insert sim card". I chande the sim but the problem don´t go away. Made de downgrade of radio rom and nothing.
What can I do?

Maybe SIM card connection has dust or doesnt connect properly.
Try cleaning the SIM card connectors on the device and on the SIM card itself...

yes with the log in the wiki, the log give me the pass code
but to enter the pass code before i have to enter my sim pass, but my phone don't detect my sim card !!

If you have a PIN on the SIM, try disabling it on another phone/device if you have one that can do this.

Do you have any spare SIM cards that you could use to unlock it. It might be a comatability issue between the SIM card and the hardware.

SPV Universal M5000 no sim card

Hello.
Im wirting to You because I know that You all cann help Me.
I buy a M5000 from my friend.
After two weeks the thelephone go crazy.
FIrst case:
1. If im go to the comm manager and i wan to swith on WIFI the WM is thinghing for a while and then notihing. The wifi is not Turned ON.
Can You tell me what coud it be? I upgrade the with WM 6.1 8.5 Tomala version and it starts to work after reset (it was working werry good.). Then I connect the M5000 to the computer and synhronise it so that i have my contact back and after that the wifi works. but if i go to suspend mode after ON i can not turn on the wifi again?
I tray the WM 6.1 tomala 8.7 too. It is doing that same.
2. THat same go with my sim card. After 2 weeks My M5000 did not see the sim card? I put som paper at sim card (under the batery) and it work after restart wor a while. After 5 minuts shows me "the sim card is miising" insert SIM card. !!!
And i cleaned the sim card and the pins what are reading the sim card but it do not help.
I read at some Thread on XDA forum that i schoudl clean the mainboard in the telephone - it can help for problem with SIM Card. If it is so, then with what can I do it?
Now i'm can not use any WIfi and any telephone with M5000 (Uniwersal).
If You cann then write what i should to do. Because I pay for that telephone big casch and I can not use it .

Hello again.
So what I did.
I take out the MainBoard form My M5000. I cleaned it whith special preparat for electronical device it call KONTAKT Cleaning preparat.
I put all things together and I turnet on the telephone. For luck it works .
The spv m5000 see the sim card. But only for feew hours. After one day the mesage "the sim card is miising" shows on screen. So I take restart the phone and again it find the sim card. After 5 mayby 8 hours the mesage "the sim card is miising" shows again.
I wass angry.
I took the newst TOMALA Roms WM6.1 wer. 8.7 and i install it on the m5000.
The situation was that same. On day it works perfektly after one day it shows the same mesage !!!
I take smol paper card and put it under the batery on sim card. I's working for a feew hours and then that same mesage shows the sim card is miising!!!!
Mayby You have some ideas what cann I do?
aha... the telephon call 112 for emergensy call. So the calling system works. Only it do not see the sim card.
If You have ideas for that reason pleas wirte it, i will check it.

Dear all,
I hv got an i9502, but the SIM card slot 1 is always showing "no SIM card" whatever I put different SIM cards.
But I am going to use it in HK, is it caused by the chinaunicom network lock. Is anybody using the other wcdma card except chinaunicom?
If it s caused by network lock, any method to unlock the network lock?

I think if locked, it should be both... I9502 from China unicom should be unlocked

I have similar issue. My i9502 suddenly have sim card 1 locked. When I go to <Settings> <More> <Security> <Set up SIM card lock>, it is found SIM1 is locked.
I tried to tick and unlock it, but it says "0 attempts left" and as a result, I cannot unlock SIM Card 1.
Now, I can only use SIM Card 2 on my i9502.
I have tried to refresh the firmware and the result is the same, i.e. SIM 1 is still locked and cannot be used.
Any hint to solve it!!!
