Hello all!
Sorry if this was asked earlier; didn't find anything like it in the search.
Basically, I really like PocketNAV's functionality; I'd just like it to be invisible unless I call it (via mapped button). Is there any way to get it to display nothing in the upper-right? If I uncheck everything it still has a grey bar in the upper-right (with the time) that blocks my icons. Any way to remove this, or other program just like PocketNAV that doesn't have that problem? Thanks!
Thank you,
Michael
I use SpbPocketPlus and it doesn't put anything in the upper right corner, though that's where you go to use it. For awhile I thought it was broken and then I figured out you have to actually press and hold in order to get it to display the drop down menu. Might be just what you're looking for.
I have installed it..
Just wondering how do you quit out of it?
It keeps overriding anyting on the fone with its screen..
Help please
Thanks
try to tap on upper right corner in landscape mode..
fab that gets it out of full screen but it stil refuses to quit??
on mine, i have one the skin packs installed from their forums. but whatever the close button is on the original skin, or the X button on the skin from the forum. you hold it and in the top right hand corner is a little meter of ">" which increases in length. when it hits the end, let go and it quits. so it start like this

I've done a search in both the Leo forums as well as xda in general and can't see a solution for my problem:
I am unable to scroll within excel mobile. Whenever I drag my finger across the screen it selects cells rather than scrolling. This isn't a problem if I wish to move up and down as the vertical scroll bar is visible and can be used. However, the horizontal scroll bar doesn't display even though it is selected in the menu.
Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance.
bump
can anyone help?
When you open Excel, click on the right side of the screen (= scroll bar) and the scroll-button will appear. Use that to scroll up and down. The same goes for the horizontal scroll bar (well, it's on the bottom of the Excel screen and you scroll from left to right ;-)). Should be there, otherwise I wouldn't know.
Thanks for the reply but unfortunately the horizontal scroll bar isn't visible on the screen, even though when I go into view -> show the horizontal scroll bar checkbox is ticked.
The vertical scroll bar also works like a "normal" scroll bar in that the scrolling part is always the same size; it doesn't increase in size when the scroll bar is tapped on. However, I seem to remember that's how it used to work when I first got the phone, so perhaps in all the various tweaks and things I've done since I've unwittingly edited something that is affecting it?!
Oh well.
You're not in full screen mode are you?
And have you tried opening a new document?
No not in full screen mode, and I have opened various different (existing) spreadsheets, and tried creating a new one and the same thing happens in all of them.
I've solved the problem. A little look into HD2Tweak and I spotted an option for horizontal scroll bar which was set to none. I changed it to normal and a quick soft reset later and I was able to see the horizontal scroll bar again; not just in Excel but other apps too.
I don't remember switching it to none, but am just glad it's working again now!
Anyone had any problems using drop down menus while in the browser. For instance when asked to select a country in your profile settings. Mine will popup the selections then it immediately disappears. After it goes away the drop down menu becomes unresponsive. This has happened on multiple web pages including this forum and other sites such as auto trader and a few auto parts web sites that I visit. It is frustrating having to get off the couch and use my pc .

If you pinch to zoom out and see the whole page is the menu still not there?
The back button soft key should bring it back to responsive.
What browser are you running?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using xda premium
None of the above work to solve this problem. I am using the stock chrome browser. Again when you click on the menu normally the selection screen pops up. In my case it pops up then immediately goes away. The menu "button" becomes highlighted but doesn't do anything when pressed. You can hit the back button on the browser or on the tablet and go back to the web page. When you return the "button" is still highlighted and unresponsive.
Ever since 4.3 update S4 stock browser no longer has history button in settings. It shows all other options like print, brightness, desktop view, incognito mode, find on page, etc.. but no history.
So my question is How do you access history?? I like using stock browser. Any way I can do it via address bar like in chrome (chrome:history)??
Maybe there is history log text file somewhere within root/data/data/browser.apk?? Im fully rooted but see nothing
Ahem, pressing and holding back button doesn't do anything
Any help is urgently needed and will be appreciated
Thanks

Press the bookmarks button in the top right corner and you should see a history tab on the right.
