Calendar - HD2 General

Is it only on mine HD2, that i cannot go further than november 1. on the week view?

Same problem on my HD2. When going from month to week view the first time it shows Nov.9 to Nov.15 but today is Nov.19 and after that it doesn't go any further than Nov.1

This bug has been reported previously - it occurs if the first day of the week is set as Monday. If you set Sunday as the first day, all is OK.
Cheers.

Something weird has happened to my 8525

I have had something weird happen to my 8525. Several of my appointments in my calendar have been mysteriously changed one hour back. For example: a 10:00 appt now appears at 9:00. Also several of my holidays are listed one day behind and filling the timeslots for the whole day. For example: Father's day is now appearing on the Saturday before and filling all the slots.
Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a way to fix it?

Certainly happened to others. NOT an 8525 problem but a WM5 M$ daylight savings etc problem. It has been raised here and may be on the wiki. You can also google it with suitable key words. I put in - appointments 1 hour out wm5
Maybe someone will post a suitable link.

when was that text sent?

How can i find out when a text was sent (the time) when in conversation mode.
After a day or so the time dissappears and only leaves the date.
Any ideas?
Mine does the opposite, shows the time but not the date.
after a couple of days the time goes and is replaced with a date..
are your texts a few days old?
Ah ha, I didn't go back far enough, serves me right for getting so many texts!
Xperia Tweak 2.0 or newer:

Disable conversation-style SMS/MMS!
And you'll see SMS like in the good old days. With date and time.

HD2 Leo TMOUS Time Issue

So has anyone had an issue with their HD2 Leo giving the wrong time? I was visiting family back in Richmond TX for the week and everytime I went to Richmond TX my phone would move up an hour and when I went to check the time it would say Eastern Time Zone. Im assuming it thinks im in Richmond VA. Does this everytime. THen when I would go back to my other home in Sugar Land TX it would move back the hour to the correct time.
Anyone has a wierd issue like this with your phone? I would figure only people possibly living in a city that has a name common in other states might have this issue. I was in another town called London while I was riding and my phone would think I was in London UK.
im in sugarland, and my phones time has been acting weird all week, maybe its due to my android install but its too strange that this could be a coincidence..
you have to set the phone to local time and you can do that by going to the alarm clock and selecting the world clock and then put the green dot on "my location" and then the phone will automatically adjust the time based upon where you are.
I'm having the same problem. It seemed to go wrong after I tried to install andriod. I have re flashed the stock ROM but the phone is still acting very strange as far as the time is concerned.... Help?
DST?
im in the UK, and we have juyst put the clocks back by an hour after British Summer Time has ended (DST) on sunday 31st October.
since then my HD2 has attempted to reset the time and keeps randomly changing it, yesterday is was showing as no longer on BST and still showing me an hour ahead, today it has randomly changed from 10:30 am to 1:30pm.
not quite sure what is going on with it, when ever i request carrier time it keeps reverting to 1 hour forward but not on BST.
hopefully it will reslove itself over time. if not looks like will have to turn off some of the location services and stick to manual city location within world clock.

[Q] Clock Did Not Update to Standard Time

Today (Sunday, Nov. 7), when I awakened my HD2 (T-Mobile), I got a notice that the time had been updated. But it had not. It was still showing Daylight Time. I had to manually turn the time back an hour. Fortunately, I was not needing the alarm this morning. Is this a T-Mobile problem or an OS problem on the HD2? Did anyone else see this, or it it just me? I am still on 2.13 OS.
At 2AM, mine went back an hour like it was supposed to. It displayed the pop-up mentioning the switch and I clicked OK. Then later this morning, I looked at it around 10AM and it was showing 11AM. I think perhaps being connected to my PC via USB for ActiveSync might have somehow contributed to the mix up. Since the PC also had to adjust its time. I unplugged the USB cable, then plugged it back in so the HD2 would auto-sync its time with the PC and the problem was quickly resolved.
But brucegil, if you were not connected to a PC, maybe it was just some other issues we noticed. I'm running EnergyROM, it's a WM 6.5.5 build that is a couple months old.

I had the same problem while researching i found it thought it was in Indiana which doesn't observe DST instead of EST like it should have been.

Mine didn't change until i rebooted. then it was fine.
From the T-Mobile USA forum, if you enable Internet time sync this won't be an issue.
Settings tab -> Data Services -> select Internet time sync from the Menu.

I had Internet time sync checked and it still didn't change the time until I rebooted. I actually unchecked it after that thinking that maybe that was why it didn't auto update for me.
Is it really that big of a deal? I mean really...it only happens twice a year...

Any way to set alarm WITH OUT specific day?

Hey guys, I knew this was going to happen as soon as i got this phone, but I ended up being late for work today because of the alarm... is there anyway to set an alarm WITHOUT having to set a specific day, like on my old evo and evo3d and darn near every thing else you can just set an alarm for 345am and it will go off on the next instance of 345 am, instead of 345am on Monday, then if I want the alarm to go off at that time again later in the week I can just turn it back on instead of having to remember to change the day, usually it isn't a problem but the one time I forget to change the day it is really bad

Just click on the "repeat" button and it will go off every next instance of that time just as you want! You can set multiple alarms as well.

That would only work though if you click every day Mon tues Wed... and repeat weekly, I was hoping to be able to just set a one time alarm. Which I could use later with out having to set the day for it as well

That's it, you just said it lol. Select each day, and select repeat weekly. That's exactly what I do and I never touch my alarm. Dont feel bad, that's happens to me all the time lol. So i set 2 alarms on my phone(45mins apart) and one on my normal clock.
