HTC Kaiser cover

Hi,
Do you if I can buy the back cover of HTC Kaiser?
I dont know the official name of that part, but it is the cover that you must pull it out to see the inside.
In that cover, you would see somekind of glass for the camera.
That glass is now quite dirty I cannot make a good picture anymore.
I tried many ways to clean it, but to no avail.
So, do you know where can I buy this?
nvm ... found it:
http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=160191
bit expensive aint it try here http://shop.ebay.co.uk/i.html?_nkw=...w=HTC+TyTN+II+Battery+Cover+BC+S210&_osacat=0
or maybe even here
http://cnn.cn/shop/8925-tilt-kaiser-c-277_448.html
Or you can pry out that POS clear plastic from the cover (yes, it's plastic, not glass), and enjoy clear photos again
If you do this, the camera inside the cover is still protected by what seems to be a piece of glass -- I've been able to clean this with optical cleaner and a soft cloth whenever I've got too much dust or fingerprints on it.

Replacing HTC Magic front cover

Hello,
I currently have a HTC Magic with a Vodafone cover, and I recently bought a new cover without the Vodafone logo.
Yesterday I disassembled my Magic to put on the new cover, but after a while I found out that the new cover (that I bought on eBay) doesn't have any metal screw holes that fit the screws. There are only plastic holes where the metal screw holes are usually in.
Is there some way to get new screw holes? I have already tried to transfer the screw holes from my old Vodafone cover, but they seem to be glued in to the housing.
I hope someone can help me out!
Thanks in advance!
I recently replaced the front cover on mine, if yours does not have the metal screw housings, you're either going to have to find a way to get them out of the old cover, or you are just going to have to return it.
Lol, I did this on my G1, but same problem for the magic.
What I did was take a small metal punch and heat it up. I then punched out the old brass screw fitting from the old phone housing. It took a couple tries, but I got the right temp so I didn't set the thing on fire. Once I had them out, I cleaned off a bit of the melted plastic that was on them. That was easy enough.
Then, I gently set the brass fittings into the holes in the new housing. They will rest level in holes. Then I heated up a steak knife until it was rather hot. I then GENTLY held the knife level against the brass without touching the plastic and in about 5 seconds the brass fitting was hot enough to start melting the plastic and it started sliding into the hole. I sunk the fitting in until it was level with the plastic rim. On one I went to far and melted the plastic a bit, but when I put it back together, it worked well enough.

HELP PLEASE BROKE MY HD2's Screen!!!

hi everyone so i managed to break my hd2s screen yeah i know it sucks.. right now im in the process of changing the digitizer for a new one i bought off of ebay.. i took the phone apart that was pretty simple but while doing so i removed many glue copper like stickers and also adhesive strips specially the one holding the digitizer and the lcd together.. my question is if anybody knows where i can buy the adhesive strips.. and most important the cooper like tape since it was covering the sides and the back part where the battery goes.. has anyone been successful at fixing their broken hd2 and is the copper-like tape important.. or can i just use some regular hot temperature resistant tape? well thanks in advance for the help

Is there any way to remove scratches from htc aria's screen?

Ok I searched the forum and online and couldnt find anything specific to the htc aria so I am asking here. I did find a post about it, but didnt find any real answer. First what is the aria's digitizer made of? Second, is there any method that works of removing light scratches on the touchscreen?
Definitely made of glass. No idea what you could use to get rid of scratches though.

Polishing compound (Mother's - automotive type) or whitening tooth PASTE (NOT GEL***) apply with qtip and then gently rub in circular motion with a soft lint free cloth / jewellers rouge. Do not use an abrasive type of polish as the Aria has a very thin glass screen and you don't want to put holes in it. If you can catch the scratch with your fingernail then you're better off ordering replacement glass and a Triwing screwdriver and replacing the glass. The screwdriver is only a couple bucks.
Edit: Also, the screen is only held on by adhesive tape so it might be easier / cleaner to replace the screen.

need some help with LCD+digitizer replacement

I just got a new replacement from Ebay. The new one got a thin, glossy protective plastic/film glued hard on the back of glass ( see pix for better explaination) So, will it prevent the 3M double side to work ? Beside 3M double sided tape, is there any other glue to work better?
