auto save text message to drafts on exit? - Touch Pro2, Tilt 2 Themes and Apps

hi, is there any way (registry tweak perhaps) that could automatically save a text mesage to the drafts folder whenever you are composing a text within htc messaging and you accidently hit back meaning you lose what you've wrote?
thanks

bump, this would be so beneficial to me

Yea that would be awesome and would be even awesomerrr would be if we could make it so that if your phone didn't have signal the second when a message sent when it got connected again it would send the message. i cant explain why windows mobile doesn't support this...

Sms Problem!

aweright here's another problem ov mine, so Please HELP!
it seems that every Text SMS that i send, my JAM resends it again ONCE or TWICE without my knowledge. My "SENT MESSAGES" folder only shows one SMS being sent, but the other mobile receives my message more than Once. and this has been happening for quite some time now, until one ov my friend asked me why i keep sending him same message again and again.
We are both on the same Network, and its not a NETWORK problem!..
Anybody knows what could be the problem, maybe its the settings that have all been messed up or something.
look this:

SPB Pocket Plus may be create this problem...after send SMS don't close mesaging while show info about SMS sending..

Hello, when I try to send a new text message, it won't be send. It become a draft in my outlook "Drafts" Folder.
I can only send text messages by replying already received messages.
Does someone know a solution?
Thanks,

I know this will sound patronising, have you tried a reset?

Well, i tried a Soft-reset.
When you make a new text message do you create it from within the text message folder or the outlook folder ????
if you do it from the outlook folder you are creating an e-mail instead of a text message

No i am making a new text message...
Anyone else?
when you reply to txt msgs it usually sends them back through the msg centre that sent them. when you send new ones, it uses your msg centre to send them. go into Phone > Menu:Options > Services and 'Get Settings' for Voice Mail and Text Messages. Make sure you have got the correct phone number for service centre (these instructions are for WM5 but i except its quite similar for WM2003)

Text Message

Hello Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had a app or a change of configuration to make the phone send text message when they don't get sent caused to not having reception.
I come across my text messages going into my draft folder since I work in the basement of a school library and I only get reception if I stand or sit very still in one spot.
If anyone has any info about this that would be great.
Thanks,
I don't have a solution, just have the same problem. I work in an area of low reception. If I don't make sure I have reception first I get a failed to send, then it leaves the text in the drafts folder and won't let me resend or move to outbox. I then have to pretty much rewrite the same text.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem with the text stuff on the Tilt2?
*Edit
I think my problem is with the HTC TF3D Messaging program, it seems the Windows one allows me to resend in a much more friendly way (aka Click to resend).
When you enter the options during the message composing screen you can choose to receive a delivery report.
You can also set this permanent:
Code:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings"
DWORD: "SMSDeliveryNotify" Value: "1"
It depends on your provider if there are extra costs for this feature.
I found a cab over at ppc forums that makes the windows messenger the default for TF3d. That way when I tap on the text screen it goes directly into the windows messenger chat instead of HTC's. Now when a text fails to go through the windows chat asks me if I want to resend.
*edit
The file was OrigDefaultWMtexting4Manila.cab, you should be able to google it.

Messages disappeared

Yesterday, I was texting with someone with who I texted a lot. When you press "All messages" you get the windows mobile messages. Suddenly, every message I've received from that person was gone when you pressed that person's name in the messages list.. When I then go into the TouchFLO messages I still see all the previous ones but in the Win. Mobile they're all gone.. Is this because of an overflow or something? And is there a file where every message is kept?
Mike
I was reading something on here not long ago about text messages. Basically, there are 2 copies. 1) in WM itself, which appears under the messaging application. 2) in TF3D itself. To delete all messages, you need to delete from both areas.

wait for txt messages before typing! arrgh!

ok, so, im guessing we all know this already... if we have over 1 txt message saved when trying to reply to a txt message its a pain. since you cant type while the messages are loading... any way to make it so that you can type when its loading? help!
thx in advance
I can start typing, but the screen is jumping back a few messages, then I must scroll down and tap into the white area and continue to wirte my text. Some times it is laggy tou
Use the search chaps... there are many threads on this very 'issue'.
When opening a thread of messages, the HTC messaging app loads all messages in the thread (typing whilst loading does now work after HTC 'fixed' it, however it will probably be laggy). Once all messages have loaded a 'feature' of HTC messaging highlights the last msg.
A simple workaround is to attempt to send a blank txt, then when asked to confirm select no. Messages stop loading and you're able to type fine.
