manila 3d on touch cruise

Hi everybody, as owner of the TC and lover of the manila 3d, I'm really interested on this topic. If I'm not wrong, the major problem of the porting is that M3D is made for vga screen. well, in this period htc should present "lolita" a qvga with m3d.

I think it's not right. the htc iolite only Haß qvga and touchflo 2d. where is youR information from?

The HTC iolite/O2 XDA guide doesn't even have a GPU, so no 3D acceleration whatsoever

I know, but it's not an actual photo but a montage of a device photo and an inserted screen shot from another device.
1&1 in Germany makes the same with the HTC Touch 3G on their website, see here

hi folks, on a famous italian website the info on the Lolita is that it will have m3d. so ... I paste the italian of the article here:

It doesn't help repeating the same false info.
iolite (not lolita) has no GPU so no 3D acceleration whatsoever.

but there is an working beta-version of the qvga version on the net ?
i am using this version on my device und runs fast enough to use it (and it looks great !)....but it has a lot of bugs (e.g. it doesnt work with s2u2 - device performs softreset or cant be turned into suspendmode), i had to set the language to english, because manilla didnt find the german mui (but i got this bug in the 2d version, too) and finally the audiomanager doesnt work -_- (but i think these errors dont depend on the vga-problem ?)
But the graphics/animation (e.g. wether) are still smooth...

G1 and problems

Help me! when I open the keyboard of the G1, the need to screen new 3S following morning! Can you help me find out the cause and how to overcome not?
and open the keyboard, then close the screen to return the same need toi new 2s same? I really do not know how it anymore? I have tried hard reset the expectations of

My G1 certainly takes a little while for the screen to turn on, especially if in standby (If I'm using the phone in portrait and open keyboard then the transition is much quicker.

yep but mine takes just 1s, never taken up to 3s like that. Clean all the caches would help?

LOL i didnt even know the screen came on when you opened the keyboard. Theres a slight delay but its not 3 seconds, more like a second and a half.
Oce thing i have noticed is sometimes pressing menu doesnt bring the screen on, and i end up having to pres power.
There still seems to be a lot of bugs in the g1

[Q] HTC HD2 with SE lifeview

Anyone knows does SE lifeview (http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/pro...iveviewmicrodisplay?cc=gb&lc=en#view=overview) works with our HD2 ?

iHello folks, I'm writing this because I want to try out the android 2.2 sd rom for windows mobile[htc touch hd t8282 (blackstone) is my phone] which is on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167324
and I have a fez questions:
1-does the device boot with windows mobile?
2-how to fix the audio problem that I've seen on that thread (I've seen the battery process "kill" but I don't want that) I'm not sure if this one is a problem in blackstone, but I'm already asking it before the install so I don't destroy the phone
3-I also heard about a wifi going off automaticaly after 2 minutes, if that happens on blackstone, hot to fix it?
4-there seems to be roofts (rootfs-20110716-245f68a.zip) and kernels(htc-msm-linux-20110718_223029-package.tar.bz2) to download in order to make it better, please tell which ones (a guy talked about the ones in red and if those are correct, how to download them and where to put the files).
5-any other available updates without counting the ones I mencioned, please tell me.
6-do we really have to use hp tool to format, can't we use the default windows tool?
7-noob question: can we delete the file saying "place startup.txt here"? I'm asking this 'cause I don't if that file will interfere with the install
8- another noob question, how to put our phone history on xda when you post, like other guys have? sorry for being noob

Android is very unstable on HTC HD
Now the better solution is WM with some apps
HTC HD official PT rom with :
-Spb mobile shell 3.5.5 muito simular ao android
e full touch with Theme ProPLus freedom HTC sense skin (better then manila)
-For SMS i use Vito sms chat
-Resco contacts Dialer
-S2U slide to unlock
-S2P slide to play
Inersoft Calendar
estou a usar este conjunto de Apps que melhora bastante o Wm 6.1

Hi, I really want the android and not windows mobile, I have all the apps you mencioned but not enough for me dont forget that xda official language is english

For now the better solution is continuo with wm or buy a cheaper android device like HTC wildfire or HTC explorer ...
Without support Android will never work for daily use on HTC HD
they stoped android developement , only if we join forces and may be with money and some donation to developers but .... theres no future for HTC HD will died with Wm 6.x
I still uses may HD and it works well with some costumisation WM
WM is almost dead thanks to microsoft , for me no more Microsoft OS
HTC HD is a good phone after 4 years but now looks old , i need a new phone
WP 7.5 is ugly Android is the Future
i´m waiting for HTC OneX to buy it

I guess you are right, but I was watching the thread i've put on my thread(LOL) and the last comment is from yesterday(1/3/12) which means that some people are still interrested on this. And I don't have so much money to spend in a phone(I buyed the htc touch hd in september 2011, which was pretty dumb but I didn't knew that the OS of Microsoft was so so so so stupid and desactualized, so I was trying to use android xD
