Default input method?

Is it possible to set the default input method? It's really annoying when the Phone Pad pops up when i only use the keyboard. In several programs the little triangle for changing input doesn't show up either.

Yes, it's somewhere in the registry...
Personnaly I use Pocket Tweak (http://tillanosoft.com) to modify it...

Is there a way of defining some programs to use a particular input method by default? Say, I always want Word to use the transcriber, but PIE to use the keyboard.

I know there is way to enable/disable an input method and how to make one input method as default.. but don't know how to set a specific input method for particular program.. :roll:
I am using 838 TC version with 4 different chinese input method.. but none of it are english by default.. I have to toggle between ChongKit and English keyboard. Is there a way to install a purely english input to my 838? Hope someone could help out.

I would be happy to just know how to stop the on screen keyboard from popping up unless i hit the icon.

Easy change of input method

Hi!
I have been searching for an app to easily change input method.
While driving I have my 9100 set in portrait and when receiving a message I would like to swap input method from block rec. to phonepad easily. The tiny arrow is very difficult to hit while sitting in the car.
Anyone know an app or can figure out a way to solve this?

I'm looking for a way to make the Letter Recognizer the default data input method (instead of the On Screen Keyboard). It seems as if I'm soft-resetting my device at least once a day, and reselecting which data input method I want to use is a task I'd like to eliminate.
Also, is there any way to disable the currently selected input method from popping up automatically when text controls have the focus?
I'm assuming both can be accomplished by changing a setting in the registry.

Any way to arrange order of SIP, or flawlessly disable Diamond's QWERTY?

Hi all,
I don't like Diamond's QWERTY input method and would like to move them out from the first page for input method selection screen. Is there anyway to do it?
I tried to use registry to disable the 2 QWERTY input methods along with the phone pad input method. But when I pull up the input selection screen, their original buttons will become black buttons
If there is no way to change the input method order, then is there anyway to disable QWERTY flawlessly?
Please help.
