I got my HTC Touch Serviced last week which was out of warranty , I serviced it because it was not booted. It was working for 1 day perfectly and suddenly the phone was hanged and I soft reset it not responded. Then i tried power on again it comes Smart mobility and Windows Mobile 6.1 Screen with notification "Main Battery Needed to be Recharged". I have put up in charge it comes a red light that stays for 5 minute after it goes orange comes and totally no light then again comes Red Light (stable).
Now i tried to switch on its same the device shows notification and restarts again....... Its repeating.
Which could be the problem ?????
Maybe your battery is faulty..? Did they replace it when you sent it in for a service?

Hi everyone, sorry for my first post being a request for help,
I have a bell Vogue and during the weekend it locked up completely. With a reset it would just hang at the windows start screen. I performed a reset the phone to factory defaults and it started working fine again. But since i lost all my programs and settings i thought it would be a good time to upgrade to jd's 6.1 bell oem rom. So for the past two days its been running great and ive been very happy with it, until this morning. I felt it vibrating in my pocket as if i was receiving a text, when i pulled it out it was at the HTC logo screen and wouldnt get passed that. So i did a soft reset and it still just hung there. I then removed the memory card and now it wont even start. Just a black screen. And when i connect the usb cable i get a red led turning on. Any ideas anyone or does it look like im going to have to get a new celly?
Thanks
RED LED...
Bud, My experience says that SOLID RED LED means it can't see battery - I have POWER Plugged in anbd When I remove battery, LED Goes RED. So I think Battery is NFG. or contacts or Charging circuitry on main board...
My HTC is more than a year old probably, I was hearing songs for 30 minute before after i kept idle and then later I pushed the power button but i did not show any indication so I connected to charger its getting very hot at its connecting terminal so I left it as it is and once i connected it in USB cable a RED light flashed.
What could be the problem ????
Plz help
I got a similar one some time back One minute i was speaking on the phone the other minute it went dead with the red light. I had to take it to the service center ( it was in warranty) . They repaired it in a day or two. Said it was a power ckt problem. All the best
I don't know what happened , I left the phone to charge last night , and just this morning , it refuses to start up .
There is a red light flashing repeatedly
I removed the battery and put it back in
Final state : Red light
This is terrible , not even 1 week in owning it , and it dies (I think)
Any opinions / Suggestions on how to recover / what to do ?
Thanks

Try a different battery if not send it back, have you rooted it at all? May have trouble if you have when sending it back if,
You could also try flashing the phone and see if that gives you any joy
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
If LED blinks 3 times in a row when you try to turn the phone ON - that means the battery is dead.
It's a common problem for me. Had it both on X8 and now on Play:
Phone dies because battery goes down to 0%. Then I plug it in to the charger and now LED blinks red - no offline battery charging on the screen. I thinks it's a kind of phone's bug or something. I have to unplug it and plug it again, then it's charging - LED constantly shows RED colour, then ORANGE and finally when battery is almost full - GREEN and battery animation is showed on the screen.
You probably had the same problem as me with that offline charging.
Hi,
I've been using a Nexus 4 since 3.5 years and suddenly one day the phone started to misbehave. It started showing the charging sign without being connected to the charger and the next day it wasn't charging above 20%.
It isn't switching on now.
When I connect it with the charger, for a few seconds a very dim green led blinks and then goes off.
Sometimes the charging sign does show up but within a few minutes it goes off.
Once or twice I don't know how I reached the boot screen and came across the 'Android is optimizing' thing but the phone again switched off around optimizing app 150 of 173.
I purchased a new original battery from the LG service center but it also didn't help.
The reply I got from the service center was that they're unable to understand the issue with my phone.
Also,
I've noticed that the green led brightens up when I press the cable too hard but then automatically goes off or dims.
Please help me with this issue.
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I haven't made any changes recently. And all has been fine. After I woke up this morning, I went to check the screen and nothing was responding.
I have had this happen in the past and I just press power and volume down button (I even tried holding it over 1 minute now)
The strangest part is, there is a blue led flashing every 5 seconds (top left) I have tried every combination, I can't get it to do anything!!! I wish i could just pull out the battery. The LED light is teasing me can someone please help. I bought this as an international model and am in Australia, so there's no warranty!
Just an update, it came back to life RANDOMLY after 3 hours? i restarted it to make sure and it was all good.
After using it, I was on a whatsapp call and it suddenly crashed again. I thought the person I was talking to went quiet, i went to turn on screen and now it's just a red LED and I can't do anything (It was charging at the time and had red LED, so i assumed it was okay...)
Quite annoying! Please helpp
