Hello there.
I was doing that procedure to eliminate the ExtROM.
I read that we have to install a cab to unhide and unlock the ExtROM. I've done that. Then we need to execute the Repart_DOC.exe, when I do that an error appear:
FL_IOCTL_FORMAT_PHYSICAL_DRIVE failed.
I know, from what I've read, that an error should appear, but from what a read the formating procedure would that a little seconds, and that doesn't happens, the error occurs instantly. I went to check the ExtROM folder, after the soft reset and there still all the files..
What should I do?
Best regards
please don't double post!

I would unlock (unhide, clean, install, re-hide) my ExtRom but I haven't found a procedure for Prophet.
Could I use any other PPC procedure/soft or is it different ?
Any hint where to search ?
Thanks
BUMP, please!
Tried this?
I have read here and at other sites such as buzzdev that the wizard unlocker works. It works "sort-of" for me. I don't know what I did before, but I added a ringtones folder long time ago, and I'm now unable to delete it. After a soft reset, it comes back.
You can try it. Others have had success
Hi everybody I am trying to upgrade my i-mate PDA2K from WM2003SE to WM6,
but I get stuck before starting.
I installed the unlocker.cab downloaded here ftp://xda:[email protected]/BlueAngel/BA_WM5/Tools/xda-developers_Unlocker.CAB but when I launch unhide (or unlock, or hide, or lock) I get a "Impossible to find "unlockextrom" or any of its component" error
I tried to hard reset, but nothing changes.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thanks
F
first time i heard of about this error.
it seems you have a software problem there regarding specifically the unlockextrom program.
hard reset your device. reinstall the programs for unlocking then run the unlocker and repart_doc.exe
Same Problem hier:
unlockextrom could not be found
Any solutions?
Update:
I tested this on two PH20B
Both are unlocked to all Networks.
Problem:
Path is fixed
e.g.: unhide 62#"\Program Files\ExtendedROMUnlocker\unlockextrom.exe" -unhide
Workaround:
copy "Programme\ExtendedROMUnlocker\unlockextrom"
to "Program Files\ExtendedROMUnlocker\unlockextrom"
After this you will see the Icon of the programms.
Solution:
Please create a new international Version
I'm getting the following error after upgrading to the latest T-Mobile ROM (Wing).
psShutXP.exe
The file 'psShutXP' cannot be opened. Ether it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You Might need to reinstall or restore this file.
psShutXP will work. Periodically I'll get this error upon boot and then the item won't be displayed in the bottom tray. I searched the forums and someone posted about having to do a hard reset after a ROM upgrade (but I've never seen this in any of the instructions). Was I supposed to do this? Is this my problem? Will it wipe out everything I've installed by doing a hard reset?
Thanks in advanced.
Hello.
I have a problem with the installation of software on my x1.
No matter how I try CAB is always only the message "installation of xxxxx.cab failed"
However, space is enough available.
I have tried to download cab from the web, moved it via USB-cable or downloaded an email-attachment. Fails everytime, same for storage-card or memory.
This issue appears since 2 days, don`t know what has changed
I run the latest official ROM and Radio for WM6.1
thanks
Raggi
it is a bug
on third-fourth try cabs can be installed
I have tried it now 15 times and couldnt install the .cabs
one thing is interesting: If want to copy/paste the cab to a different folder, this error pops up: "Cannot copy, access denied. Please make sure that destination is not write-protected, file is not used and that there is enough memory" (my translation into English)
If I create a new folder and want to rename it later, I get the same error
try to format sd card
issue is solved by doing a hard reset
If you'd given of chance I could have saved you the time of reseting. See this post I just submitted for someone else.

Hi guys.
I have a really annoying problem. Every time i download and put an android ROM on my SD card and try to open any file (e.g. clrcad) the following message appears:
"The file 'clrcad' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file."
This message also appears when i click Haret. This is the case for any SD ROM i try to install!
i also tried a NAND install, put since i have SPL3.03, apparently i must downgrade that first. When i try downgrading SPL (so i can put on HSPL) with the appropriate files, there is always an error preventing me to do so.
I no longer want a NAND install. just the SD one. Can someone please help me with the problem above. its very annoying!.
Thank You.
this is obviously a question for the windows section, but I'll help you:
all you hace to do is allow unsigned apps to run, it can be easily done by installing BSB tweaks and clicking once on the "policies" this will allow unsigned apps to run..
and you should do some search in the windows section next time.
once i met this problem, after i hard-resetted winmo everything had been solved. you can give a try.
