How connect HD to internet from my computer? - Touch HD General

Hi,
I have HD. I want connect my HD to internet over bluetooth or USB. I have internet connection in my computer. So i would like to share internet from computer to HD. Is it possible?

Just use ActiveSync if you're on windows.
At least in my case, it didn't require any additional setting up at all - I just have internet on the phone automagically.

conncting pc -internet blackstone wirelessly?

I have a problem. ...well i have many, but this specifically -
I currently have a wirelss broadband router which sends the internet to the pc and the blackstone... but i cant figure out a way of connecting the pc to the blackstone wirelessly..... currently I have to access my pc with the usb cable....which is annoying....
my pc has asus wifi solo...
is there a way... ?
What excactly do you want to connect. ActiveSync isn't able to deal WiFi connections since a few versions, as this was mentioned to be a security issue.
If your HD is able to connect to the internet through your router, you have a valid connection, but you this doesn't mean that you can just access your HD with the explorer, or whatever you are supposed to do.
oh....so i cant connect to the blackstone with the pc through the broadband router...shame.... i could switch the pc wireless adapter to send mode to connect to the blackstone....but that would mean losing the internet whilst i did this..... how frustrating!!!

Actually this wouldn't bring any advantage. You have a valid IP connection between your HD and your PC, but you also need some services like FTP, HTTP, or whatever.
What about Remote Desktop to your PC?

Here in my notebook I've shared the ADSL internet with wireless connection and I'm using the local web between my notebook and HTC to get the internet connection. It works perfectly!
when ever connected to activesync or the vista sync

[Q] How to use PC internet connection from Android?

Hello!
I'm using Blackstone with WM6.5.3 and I sync by USB cable to my WinXP computer.
When connected I browse on WM using internet LAN connection of my PC.
Now I installed Froyo 2.2 on my Blackstone.
Is possible to connect by USB cable and use PC internet connection, instead of 3G connection?
thanks
No, you can't. WiFi works, though.

Seeing as I don't have a router, I set up an ad-hoc network to share internet on my WM, which works fine. But Android can't see Ad-hoc networks.
Windows 7 can create full access points instead of an hoc networks, but I'm stuck with Vista.
Any ideas?
