Hi Community,
a long time ago, there was a ROM with a TF3D build, which was able to use the remote functions (play, pause, next track, previous track) of the A2DP Bluetooth profile with the music tab. Who knows how to get them working on newer releases?
Thx for your answers

Hello. I was wondering the Series 60 Symbian platform has Bemused, a program they use to remote control via Bluetooth their PC and their Winamp from their Symbian smartphones...
Isn't there a way to use a program like this via Bluetooth in our XDA II???
if you did a forum search this would be the second hit right after your post

Forgive me but at the time I made this post there was nothing in the front page... I know how frustrating it can be to see the same questions again and again... You're right.
Thank you for the answer...

RemoteAmp is excellent! nice skin and works great.
Does anyone know, if 233309-qtek9100_2180707_21807109_20710_qtek_ger_ship.exe includes A2DP and AVRCP-Support? I would like to buy the Jabra BT620s but want to check, if it works correctly on my wizard. Thanks for your help.
no by default, but you can after you install the Cab, you may do a search here.
A2DP hack cabs
I have the 8125. I am using the motorola bt 820. It works great with the 8125 after installing the A2DP hack cabs. I still have not gotten an AVRCP yet so the play/pause/skip controls dont work. Send me an email and I can send you the cab files. [email protected]

I found a a2dp crack on here and installed it and it works fine (AVRCP works too), but it sounds screwed up (very high noises make a sound like a tamborine, but all other sounds are great). Anyone know a better one?
Edit your Rigistration to get better sound
Improve sound on K-JAM a2dp hack:
[HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\BtA2dpSnd]
"Priority256"=60
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway]
"Capability"=77 (Default is 37) recomended by others 69
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings]
"BitPool"=40 (default is 30) recomended by others 60
Which hack do you used to get AVRCP on work ?
AVRCP means, that you see the played songs in the display of your bt-headset, right?
My stereo-bt works very fine, but the AVRCP-implemention doesn´t work for me...

Please DO follow my blog / articles cross-posted to the General forum here. I've elaborated on the AVRCP compatibility (along with all the other questions asked in this thread - for example, where the Wizard A2DP can be obtained from, what registry hacks are recommended (I've even posted a ready-made reg import script)).
The thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=279459

Unfortunately, nothing can be done. The registry hacks don't entirely fix this issue. Read my above-linked article on the issue.
I've been searching for an hour and can't seem to find the answer.
I have a cingular 8125 and a moto ht820 headset. It's paired and begins to play through the headset but then the voice speed dial comes up and the audio reverts to the 8125 speaker. When it works, it sounds great.
I've found plenty of threads on bt disconnecting on resume but none for my situation.
If it's a .cab install, I think I've understand how to do that.
Will someone either tell me the fix or, at the least, point me to the fix via thread.
Thank you in advance,
Porter
Edit: It's been a few days since the original post. I can't believe , as big as this site is, that noone can answer my plea. Oh well, I'll keep reading and hunting. Hopefully I'll bump into the answer. It seems that I saw it when I first came here but I didn't know that I'd need it so I didn't save it. Thanks for looking.
I think I may have my problem on the run. I looked on the Wiki and found a FAQ "How can I use my Bluetooth headset as Wired Headset?".
It tells how to make bt use media player instead of voice dial. I don't want to use media player, i want to use pocket player.
Right now it says to enter this path in the registry:
"Path"="\Windows\wmplayer.exe"
I've installed pocket player onto my mini sd card. What path would I use? On my mini sd the path is \program files\conduits\pocket player\pocketplayer.exe
What would my path be in the registry?
Also, which registry editor should I use?
Thanks

This worked. With media player anyway. I'm listening through my HT820 right now. Hooray! I used regedit82.exe I want to be able to use pocket player still because of the bookmarks. I listen to 3.5 hour mp3's (the lex and terry podcast) so I need bookmarks.
If I haven't been clear enough, tell me and I'll try again.
Thanks
Edit: Pocket Player is now working through the HT820 headset just by my having entered media player in the registry as stated above. This is what I've been wanting since I got this phone. Now I can start learnig the other stuff at a slower pace.
Thanks
Where can I find "regedit82.exe" for HT820/8125 Music Marriage
I have the same problem you faced pairing my HT820 with my Cingular 8125. I haven't been lucky so far in finding a copy of regedit82.exe to edit my registry settings. For the moment, I plan on using Media Player for my Mp3's. Any suggestions on where to locate a copy of regedit82.exe? Also, I'm a novice at this, so would you mind reiterating the steps to make things work. Thks in advance HW

As far as I remember, the voice dialer/media player registry edit that you are wanting to do will stop the plays for 2 seconds out of the headset then reverts to the speaker problem.
I guess I can't figure out how to send an attachment on the new forum. Just do a search on regedit820.exe That's the one I used. I must've left out the zero. Sorry.
I still don't have anything figured out really. Go to the WIKI FAQ and search for "How can I use my Bluetooth headset as Wired Headset?".
Since what I listen to is mono, I've started using a bluetooth earpiece instead of the ht820. Others have it figured out but not me.
There is a good thread that has ROUNDUP in the title. Search for it. It's a good starting point.
Good luck.
No Results Google regedit820.exe or Wikipedia FAQ ;-|
Thanks for getting back with me so quickly PorterX. Since Googling for regedit820.exe has so far returne "0" results ;-| Would you mind please emailing it to me through either mailto:[email protected] or mailto:[email protected] Also, when I queried Wikipedia's FAQ for How can I use my Bluetooth headset as Wired Headset? Not even the ROUNDUP thread came up. I must not be living right ;-( I appreciate your continued willingness to help. Hope to hear from you again soon. /HW
Note: Maybe I'm searching on the wrong Wiki? I've be using Wikipedia's FAQ (wikipedia.org). Should I instead be searching through EmacsWiki, AtomWiki, UbuntuWiki, EnterpriseWiki perhaps?
I've just installed the latestst T-Mob US 2.26 rom...
Is there any tweaks etc that will allow tomtom directions to come through the BT headset rather than speaker phone... it would also be good for listening to music etc via the bt headset...
any ideas anyone?
thanks

This program is what you need. I've only tried it with Windows Media Player, but it should work well with others.

Hi, i'm trying to get my bluetooth headset to work with audio also but I can't seem to know how to install these 3 exe files. Could you please show me where and how to install these applications? Thanks.
Guys, VJVolubilis might be able to do this.

No problem. Here it is again:
Thx a lot Moti for such quick response. I have downloaded and installed the file. It works well now on my Window Media. Great man you are.
Hi Moti,
It is me again. Not withstanding my earlier reply, after installing the midi cab, midi files play well on WM player (Version 10.3 Build 21202 by xplode). However oftentimes when WMA files start to play for a short while, they will pause a little before continuing. Please help me again. Thx a lot.

If I am not mistaken (and please correct me if I am), WMP does skip/freeze, every so often. I don't use it so I can't really say, but I have read countless posts with reports from people having this same kind of issue with WMP.

Like egzthunder1 said, this is an old problem. I only really need midi support for my ringtones so I never really cared that it skips after a bit.
Sun dream's 6.5 ROM has midi support built in so you might want to give it a try and see if it is better at the skipping problem.
You are right, Moti and thank you for the help thus far, and thank Egzthunder for his reply.
I have used Sun dream's 6.5 Rom before, the WMP plays well with both midi and wma files- no skipping problem. A great Rom indeed. However, and this is not to discredit Sun Dream at all, a number of features still need improving, including Today Screen that wouldn't respond instantly to changes, no One Note mobile and it happened to me the IE stopped to function and displayed no connection after a few usage.
I have since moved to Xplode's ROM, which provides me with those needed features thus far. A great ROM indeed. However no support for midi files. I may seek help from Xplode on this, as he has developed his ROM, to some extent, with help from Sun Dream's.
Hi motisu,
thanx for the cab - MIDI is now working. The sound quality is a little bit poor, but anyway: At least I hear something with my MIDI-ringtones.
Sorry, but the sound is really not so nice - maybe that is concerned with my BA.
Thanx and Greetz,
hamaman
