I got a huge problem with my Touch HD.
The Display does not turn on anymore. When I turn on the phone, it vibrates and after a while I hear the HTC welcome sound, but the display does not show anything.
Also when I start it in bootloader mode the display does not show anything.
I still have warranty for the phone, but I used Duttys 3.9 on it. So I have to flash the original rom now using USPL. The questions are:
Is it possibile to flash it without seeing anything on the display? (Should be possible I think)
How can I see that the flashing worked and I have the original rom and did a hardreset succesfully? Is there a way to see that in the file system when I connect the phone with the PC using Activesync? Can I use Activesync after hardreset without configuring the WM on the phone?
I really need your help now, so please help!

which rom do you have?
It looks like you are in bootloader (multicolored) mode so that is good
connect via usb - you dont need to activesync to update rom. You should get a usb sign bottom left of screen and then start update.
Upgrading without activesysnc
After a interruptus ROM upgrade my s200 d'ont start . after the HTC i have a white screen but not more.
The activesync don't connect and i can't put the ROM another time.
I obtain the multicoloured screen with usb in the left botton.
Please, could anybody help me to update the rom in this situation , mayby without activesync ??

You can flash a rom from the 3-colored bootloader mode (hold voice button when turning device on). When it says usb you can just flash without activesync.
Yes thank's i found a ROM that don't need activesync , after that i had changed that rom by my rom and at the moment my s200 y ok.

Hello, I've a problem with my HTC P3600 (win Mobile 6.1), it doesn't start (also using hard reset); i've tryed to buy a new battery but the results are the same. Moreover if I connect the phone with the charge (without the battery), the led red brights, but doesn't start anyway.What can i do? Thanx for the answers

you need to put the device in boot loader mode and attempt a reflash. i had the same issue and a reflash helped me.
Did you flash a new rom or something onto your phone after which this problem surfaced? If that was the case, try flashing another rom or better yet, check with the person that cooked the rom. You can PM them or something. How did this problem start and since when have you had it?

I've got a problem with my Blackstone. I just flashed the latest topix Rom trough SD card and all went well (rom update:succes), and then i did a HR. But ever since then the screen won't turn on. I tried to softreset, hardreset, removing the battery for a few minutes and turn on, and entering bootloader. The screen stayed black. When i plug in the usb charge cable the orange led does go on, and when i press the power button the phone vibrates for half a second and plays the bootsound (as usual). I can even get an activesync connection with my pc.
Suggestions anyone?
Edit: Just flashed a new Rom (the latest energyrom); screen still stays black. I am still able to get an activesync connection + orange/green led
EDIT2: people in this thread seem to be having thesame problem I have with my blackstone. It seems to be a hardware defect... Now let's hope it will be repaired under warranty
Ok, I'm replying instead of editing because I've got a new problem now
I want to return my phone to claim warranty. I did manage to flash a stock rom + radio, but the problem is i use hspl and i am unable to flash a stock spl to the device. When I run the Hardsplwrapper-Blackstone.exe (doesnt matter wether its the unsigned olinex or the 1.56 olinex version) I get a 260: connection error when i use Windows XP, and a 202: connection error when using Windows 7.
The wiki says to run SSPL manually from a file explorer in your phone... But without a working screen that is a bit hard. I als don't have any screen viewing app installed on my device...
EDIT: also tried installing mymobiler to be able to view the screen but I am unable to connect...

I managed to flash stock spl by putting the device in bootloader manually while I had it connected to usb. Then I waited til the bootloader connected to my pc (I could tell because the "new hardware found"screen popped up). then I ran the hspl.exe and copied the stock .nbh spl file. After that I was able to finish the wizard

I flashed a stock rom + radio and stock SPL (version 1.14). Is this enough to be able to claim warranty, or will HTC find out that i've been using HSPL and custom firmwares? I wouldn't like to have to pay for repairs because they find out about that.

Download the appropriate Orig ROM and then connect your phone to the computer. Next, Go to soft reset the phone but hold the camera button in until you see a Red/Blue/Green/White screen. Look for the letters USB in the lower left hand corner. If you see this, then you can run the .exe file and the flashing will begin. Just follow the directions on screen.
Remove Hard SPL from bootloader

Anyone out there knows if we can remove hardspl from bootloader of Wing. Problem is my mobile displays splash screen, then switch offs by itself. Its been quite some time that I have hardspled it and have been using it. But recently I am facing this issue, so I am trying to move to original RUU and try if it works.
So for that anyone knows if we can remove hardspl from bootloader, because I am only able to enter bootloader. Moreover I tried several original roms from Flash Center as well as through SD card as well, but still be SPL version is 4.70.yang. Anyone knows any other alternative.
Also, if anyone has faced similar problem then kindly advice how you resolved.

hi, i just recently flashed my rom using a reliable source but now my device wont turn on. everytime i push the power button, it shows the htc screen but then shuts off. it dosent get to the windows mobile screen. any ideas on how to unbrick it?
The fact that it will turn on means it is not bricked, a truly bricked pbond will not turn on. While the phone is off hold the camera and the power button down until you see the bootloader come up and connect your phone to your computer via USB cable and wait until you see USB on the screen then flash the rom, if you have HSPL already on your phone you can flash a custom ROM. But make sure it is copatible with hour phone.

Hi i didwhaat you said and used rom update utility.exe to upgrade and flash the rom but im in the samespot as i was before. i have charged the phone. my SPL is 1.11.0000 and IPL is 2.21.0002.
and ideas? my phone still wontt go past the htc screen
