Hello,
can someone tell me please, how I can find the code for the "flight mode"?
I want to set a shortcut to switch flightmode off/on quickly.
Need only the path and if someone know also a pic fromt the flightmode
Thanks a lot
in touchflo its called long press end key, u can set it to switch flight mode
Thanks, but I think you do not understand me
I want to have the path/code which I can add in the registry to start or end the flight mode.
Want to change some setting in the registry for die HTC Actionscreen, but for the flightmode I dont know the Path
I don't think this is possible.

how to create a link from commanager that can run only one function,For example open WIFI or clos Bluetooth.I mean I don't want every time to run commanager, only run a link to achieve.sory for my english and thank you.
Turning Wifi on and off in one click would be useful to me too
You can press on the GPRS icon and turn Wifi from there but its too small & uncomfortable
Because I use Spb Mobile Shell and I don't use Today so I create a page which I put links to achieve commanager's function.
there is a software called VJoublis..map it to your button..or make a shortcut to it and map it to any of the Icons and your done
also there is a thread here called "List of .lnks"...it has the shortcut number to Toggle ON/OFF GPRS,WIFI,BT and much more

thank you i'll try it,but i'd like to know what's the commanager's shortcut parameter, how can tell me
i dont think its possible because CommManager is a seperate EXE...but you could try looking in the Registery, perhaps thereis some info
"Battery status" has this feature in it's tray launch, I use this with large icons in "second today".
You could also try FtouchSL and use the active corners.
Holding a corner of the screen for say, a second, could turn on/off Wifi and same with bluetooth.
XDA user Aqrab made a nice little executable (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=362115) that toggles Bluetooth on/off already in discoverable mode. Its really nice and I use often so I made a shortcut in my Manila programs.
But what I want is change the default bluetooth command of CommManager since that only turns on bluetooth, dont put it in discoverable mode.
Any suggestion?
I too wish I could change the CommManager entries so that I could add one for Roaming...
Does anyone know of a way to turn "Airplane Mode" and "Data Connection" on and off without using the comm manager? I can't find it but there has to be maybe a registry value that is used to turn these features on and off which a script from Mortscript would be able to be written to change these values upon a button push. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
BTW, I am running WM6.1 stock ROM if that makes a difference.

Apparently you're implying that the Long Press End Key options are no help? If so, then I totally agree because it's either an on/of for Airplane Mode or an on/of for Data Connection, argh, or just keep it in Quick List mode. If not, then you should at least check it out...
Start > Settings > System (tab) > Long Press End Key
Hello,
I am looking for an app to toggle my gps on/off. Can anyone help me with this?
I have the issue that when I have my phone in flight modus and am out of the country both GSM and GPS are disabled. I would like the GSM to be disabled in favor of GPS to be enabled. I wan't this option for my Tom Tom navigation when out of the country,so it does not get interrupted by phone calls or smsses.
Kind regards

Im also looking for a simple on/off toggle button for the gps.
Since you can have that in android i figure it should exist something similar created for wm.
I have only found wm homescreen plugins so far but since thats no use when you running manila or CHT it not even worth downloading.
Looks like ill have to keep searching....

You're right.
I'll test it under pure WM and check the registry while toggling on opr off : maybe I'll be able to detect what keys to change to get the same results directly, and possibly make a CHT widget.
Edit :
Found this one here :
http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Samsung_i600
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver]
"IsEnabled"=DWORD:00000001
-> change to 0 to toggle off ?
I'll check if it works... And if it actually saves battery life.
A Possible Work Around
I could not get the app from the link above to work on my HD2. It said it installed successfully, but I could find no exe or shortcut for it anywhere on my HD2. I searched a couple of app forums here and found nothing else.
Here is a possible solution although it is not a one-click solution like most toggles. It is based on this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=645916
Using a text editor, paste this into a new file:
30#ctlpnl.exe AGPSSettingsCPL.cpl - location services settings
Save the file with the name such as GPS Toggle.lnk (that's a small "L" in lnk).
Copy the shortcut file to the Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder. From there you can access it using the Start button/menu. Also, depending on the UI, you may be able to create a button on your main screen. I have Co0kie's Home Tab which provides the ability to create buttons on the home screen. (Co0kie's Home Tab has a number of toggle switches, but not one for GPS.)
This shortcut will bring up the Location screen from Settings. This may or may not be what you want. To be honest, I could not find a place that says "turn on/off GPS."
AGPS only allows to use available data network to update the satellites positions database in order to speed up satellites location.
It should have nothing to do with having the GPS receiver actually turned on or off...
In fact, it's turned off on my HD2, and I'm still able to use the GPS.
I'm currently trying to evaluate the effect the above registry value change has on battery lifetime...
Edit :
OK, at least your post put me on a track :
The registry tweak actually switches on or off the "Automatic GPS management" checkbox in the "Access" panel from the "External GPS" applet in WM "System" settings.
You can still use a shortcut as the one you posted, but it should contain 25#ctlpnl.exe cplmain.cpl,25,2 instead (GPS settings - Access).
Now the registry trick has strictly the same effect, and can be made out of a simple MortScript - then a CHT switch, too.
The only problem is I couldn't notice a better battery consumption, actually...
I've been scouring the forums with no luck so far, I need a way to disable the lock that is attached to a short press of the End Key on my Touch 2's.
Reg Tweak, app any suggestions welcome, its causing me quite a problem, I want to roll these out for a corporate app and the kiosk I use is not blocking this operation.
Cheers - Sam
i m also searching for the same solution , any help ?

Dude,
I've tried doin that but all u're gonna do is invoke the old lockscreen from previous WM version... I think what the other guy wants is totally no lockscreen at all =)
yep
tried that, we really need the lock and screenlock removing so this button does nothing at all
lockscreen dll?
I think that the function is given by dll lockscreen.dll. Tonight I try to replace it and see what happens. We'll let you know later.
hi, I was trying some software in my Touch and I got myself into situation where my phone did not lock up after pressing "power off" button but I was still able to lock the screen using Lock software button/icon. It was simply result of installing S2U2 and configuring it as default lockscreen.
If you perform these steps only known way to return to default state is hard reset!
Install S2U2.
right after installation goto start menu > directory s2u2 > click on S2U2 and it should se itself.
Uninstalll S2U2
in settings > lock set your default lock screen

Well you can recover the original lock screen and everything by downloading this file http://acs2.mstreme.com/download/RestoreWM65DeviceLock.cab.
For more info check s2u2's FAQ, under WM 6.5, "Q. How to restore the WM6.5 built-in lock?", here http://67.43.3.117/~acs2co/S2U2-faq.html
disable in WM6.5 the Key Lock / Keylock at Standby
I find a possibility to deactivate the Key lock in standby at Windows Mobile 6.5 :
with this registry key:
Add a new "DWORD" value
in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/ControlPanel/Keybd
Name: DeviceLockWhenSuspend
Value: 0
after this take a softreset and have fun
